Harris and other young players (Byrd, Greer, Jackson) wont see the field in dick jauron's scheme because there's the chance they might make a mistake. Dick jauron would rather have his players make no plays but no mistakes, instead of a possible mistake and a possible big play. Hence the reason that crap (a-train, webster, scott/wilson) see the field instead of young guys with potential.

Ellison shouldn't be starting. He's a great guy that would be an excellent backup and can be a spot starter, but he's not the guy you want out there for 16 games a year. My biggest problem was that the F.O. saw how weak he was last season as a 16 game starter and then made nothing more than a token effort to upgrade his spot. As for tackles, they are almost a worthless stat that is kept by teams and not the NFL. There was a study done about the 2008 season and teams are all over the board when it comes to defensive snaps faced versus total tackles by the team. There were some teams, like SF, who had recorded 250+ more tackles than defensive plays faced last season.

He got suspended for being an ass and talking trash about his team and his coach. Using the word fag just gave the team a legit reason to suspend him. If you run your mouth about your work and your boss, they probably can't fire you. But you shouldn't be surprised when they fire you for putting the date on your cover sheet in the wrong place.

If the Bills somehow win the super bowl this season, i'll still want jauron fired.

Good post, but Levitre didn't look too good yesterday, especially when he got shoved aside on the safety.

Amazing what Eans can do when we have a QB who actually tries to get him the ball. The last 2 games with Fitz do nothing but strengthen the agument that trentative doesn't even look for his WRs and just looks to check down. As for the McGee play, i dont think he was burned so much as it was a miscommunication. The replay showed that McGee came off the outside TE to give help on the 2nd TE running the inner route. Seems more like a blown coverage than getting "burned."

So if all these "protocols" are correct, why does jauron have to be an idiot and say all this cryptic crap about Edwards? Whats the harm in saying, "NFL protocols prohibit contact between the coaching staff and a concussed player. Our medical staff is monitoring the situation." Would that have really been that difficult?

No, our offense didn't beat them. Their defense held us to 13 in regulation. If your D gives up 13 points, our offense should be able to win almost every game you play. Their offense beat them.

So AVP running "Turk's" offense is preventing him from doing simple tactics like moving Owens and Evans around the field and into the slot, or perhaps running a 2 RB set with Freddy and Marshawn in the backfield?

John Shoop is OC of an offense that is the worst in the ACC. No wonder dickie has always liked him so much. Given their love affair in chicago, i was surprised dickie didn't bring shoop along to buffalo. That dickie J, he sure knows how to pick his coordinators.

The officiating/judging was a joke. As Lori said, the judges had many questions about chicago's food and only praise for Buffalo's. We got screwed because the judges got a woodie over the fact that the chicago loser made his own rotisserie with a bike chain and sprocket.

Why are his drops such a shock to everyone? Have you guys honestly not seen TO play in the past 5 years? He makes the big plays, but he comes with his fair share of drops. To expect different this year is nothing but foolish.

Mass does come into play. Regardless of who is in the "right," a bike loses to a truck 100% of the time. Being right doesn't matter too much when they spatula your brains off the sidewalk while the truck driver buffs out the scratch you put in his car.

The NFL is on a road to turning into the NBA. The NFL has always prided itself on teams, but now they are really touting the individual. (I find this highly amusing, seeing how they have taken so many steps to prevent the players from "individualizing" themselves with dances, celebrations, etc) Its getting to the point where certain individuals are above the rules, and are "more equal" than the rest of the players in the league. See, Manning, Brady, etc. They are the Jordan of the NFL now, where if anyone gets in their way of making a play, a flag is going to get tossed.

The pancake by Wood was a thing of beauty. He blew the DL 5 yards back and onto his ass. I have no clue what the refs were smoking to call that a hold. Lets hope for many more of those in the coming years.
