  1. That movie sure has a solid cast...Gosling, Cranston, Brooks, etc. Can't wait to hear more about it!
  2. I still don't know how you can say that Shelly played a great game...IMO, she and Dani completely screwed the season. If she just would have stuck with her alliance and built an alliance with Dominic behind the scenes to spring on everyone later, it would have been great. We would have the best players here in the end fighting it out for the win. But now we're stuck with a bunch of boring, no-game-having fugtards to watch for the last two weeks. And Shelly, she was an IDIOT to make that move. I was glad to see her dumb ass get shown the door last night. This show needs more Hantz.
  3. I draw the line at Vader pussification dammit!!! What is George thinking??
  4. That actually bothered me too...when I used to hear the original celebration music, it was a very nostalgic thing. But now when I see the film with that new music, it's just not the same. I didn't really mind the Hayden Christensen addition when Luke sees the apparitions, but I agree about the music 100%.
  5. Quite a few of these films appeal to me, with "The Debt" being the one I"m most excited to see...I haven't seen any early feedback on the film, but I'm fascinated by the plot and am very happy with the casting. Equally as appealing to me is "Warrior". This will likely be a good opportunity for those of you who aren't familiar with Tom Hardy yet to give the guy a look. (Tom Hardy will be playing Bane in the next Batman film.) Hardy has already become one of my favorite actors, and I have no doubt he'll shine in this role. Third at the top of my list is Moneyball. I'm always interested in the concept of player movement in sports, and the idea of putting a team together on a budget thinking outside the box sounds really interesting. There's a handful of others on this list that I"m sure I'll see when they hit bluray, but chances are I'll see the above three in the theater. As always, Thanks Vader!!
  6. EPNS can suck it.
  7. There's no way Easley will be cut.
  8. I"m still gonna stand firm...George Lucas raped my childhood and I'm GLAD HE DID. I don't care if he decides to put singing cross-dressing dwarves into one of the star wars films...it's okay with me dammit! Don't listen to them, George...
  9. I still can't believe it happened...I hope Herr Klinsmann can whoop some BUTTS on this team and take us to the next level!
  10. lol, I'm picturing you saying that with a straight face and it's making my piss my pants
  11. They do, but they need four of them...one for each vagina
  12. I have to agree. The Brewers pounded the Braves earlier in the year...I don't remember if we even took a game off them in the series, but they are definitely a team to be reckoned with. I think you're probably right about the playoffs. There isn't much going on right now, but once October hits it'll be another story.
  13. I just don't see what kind of sense that could possibly make...the guy is still on his first contract, and he was a late round pick so his cap hit is next to nothing...and when you have a player who has shown the ability to provide pressure on the QB, I would think you'd want to keep such a player around...this guy was one of the few bright spots on our defense last year...I don't understand this at all
  14. Okay, why in the HELL would we cut Moats??
  15. What?? Little cute, adorable Jordo with the great big heart? Useless??? I'm disappointed in you, Vader!!!
  16. Yep, just finished watching the OT, too, and he looked pretty solid on the left side. This weeks' game will be very interesting...I hope he gets some snaps earlier in the game so he can have some quality opposition to go up against. This guy is just HUGE, though, and his arms are long and very much able to knock rushers off balance pretty severely.
  17. Lana just texted me about this movie last night, Mead...she really enjoyed it.
  18. I'm here watching the replay of the game and finally getting a good look at Hairston...I can clearly see why some of you guys are so high on this kid. There was one play where the guy literally took out two pass rushers almost simultaneously...he took on his main assignment with his left arm and gave him sort of a stiff-arm punch block type shot, and then immediately launched his right arm laterally to do the exact same to the rusher on the outside. I've also seen him deliver a crushing block on a second level defender to spring the runner on two occasions, and then on another play he smartly used the momentum of the outside rusher against him and literally shoved his ass about 5-8 yards deeper into the backfield to give Thigpen time to make the throw. I can't wait to see what he can go against better quality competition, but at least in this game he was a man among boys
  19. I would suggest that you watch into the OT period to see the excellent blocking display put on by that Elzy kid, but since we just cut his ass it's probably a moot point
  20. The wife is right....it's half way through the 2nd
  21. LOVED tonight's episode...this will be a pivotal episode to remember from this point forward, cause a lot of stuff went down. I thought the scene with the Cartel rep and Gus was awesome... I'm really happy to see Hank getting his mojo back. I've missed the dynamic he brings to the show, especially being so close in terms of his relationship to Walter. They really put down some roots tonight, and I'm psyched to see what grows from here...should be a great ride!!
  22. I'm glad you shared all that, man, cause Im starting to feel like I'll be discovering a great sci-fi franchise sort of for the first time since I have so little memory of it. A few weeks ago I was watching another older Eastwood flick, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and it made me realize that I have very little memory of the "dollars" spaghetti western trilogy other than "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" which I saw just a few years ago. Apes falls into the same category, except I'm a much bigger sci-fi fan than I am a western fan. I'm starting to realize just how many awesome films there were in the 60s and 70s, cause every time I go back and revisit one or see one for the first time, it's a great ride! Part of why I love bluray so much is because I feel it takes us back and really brings the film alive. Josey Wales was filmed like 40 years ago, but the transfer was so amazing it felt like I was transported back and was literally going along for a ride with Clint and the Native American guy he was traveling with. The whole film just looked stunning to me, and the sound was equally as impressive. I've read some reviews on Amazon about the Apes box set, and there were many folks saying the same thing about the transfer of Planet of the Apes, too. I just love how this technology gives these films new life and makes them feel more real...it's very cool.
