  2. Go...Go...AQUABATS!!!!
  3. After how UGA let me down against Boise St (I waited seven months for THAT???), I hope the cocks come out and slap them silly between the hedges. I feel bad, cause Mark Richt is one of the good guys in football, but his teams need to show more life soon or he's going to be the one to pay for it. I'm assuming Spurrier will start Garcia, although Shaw's slow start last week wasn't entirely his fault. Will be interested to see if he gives Shaw another start this week or stays with the tequila warrior.
  4. Hey, AD...good to see you, man...seems like it's been forever since I saw a post of yours
  5. How can you be so hard on cute, precious Jordan?? She's like the most innocent, angelic creature on earth! You know what? If Dani would have played as good of a game as Jordan, she'd still be in it!
  6. Can you imagine those two in a reality show? It would kill! lol
  7. If Porche really did analyze the situation and then come up with the strategy you just laid out, then yeah...it's a perfectly valid strategy. The only problem is that I don't believe for a minute she was thinking about it lol. I think she just sort of existed, and now toards the end she found a couple of competitions that suited her and she stayed safe another couple weeks, and now she has found herself in the final three. It's just hard for me to believe she strategized any of this. On the other hand, Adam MAY have, because he was always verbalizing his justification for why he went with this group or that group...he seemed very aware of his position in the house, and his staying under the radar was pretty clearly premeditated. I just don't ever remember Porche in a DR session where she talked about how she was playing the game. I remember her crying during week one when she was nominated and thought she was going home, but that's about it lol. It doesn't surprise me that we see it differently, though...we always see shows like Survivor and BB differently
  8. I dunno, but I think it would involve Gary Busey.
  9. True, it just seems that most of the game she just sort of sat there. She was all up Dani's butt, never really making any moves on her own. I dunno, I just don't really care for players who don't ever seem to make any sort of strategic plans. That's why I was dying when Jordo took a shot at her on the way out last night...I've never seen sweet little Jordan go after anyone, but she looks at Porche and goes, "and Porche, we sure learned that you like to run around in bikinis and get a sun tan" or something like that...knowing that at least three people commented on how Porche hadn't even spoken with really any of them for the first 50 or so days in the house. I just like to see players who THINK and ACT in these competitions....just just sit there like a lump on a log. The vets started going after each other so early, they took themselves out and forgot about the other folks who aren't really players...now they're about to win the money.
  10. Yep, I knew exactly what you were talking about cause that video still sticks in my brain for some reason...and I agree, it does sort of fit in with those other songs. The 90s feel like yesterday to me...can't believe they ended over a decade ago
  11. no way man, I love that song! lol
  12. lol, I can't believe two floaters made it all the way to the final 3...I guess that means I'm hoping for Rachel, too Survivor next week, baby!!!
  13. My favorite way to buy music now is to look on Amazon for used verions of the CD I want. Typically you can find them for under $5 shipped, often times even closer to like $2 or $3. I just upload it to iTunes in Apple Lossless format and I never need the physical CD again. I've really grown my collection over the past couple of years doing this.
  14. same here...it's a weird choice...doesn't really fit in with the macarena, who let the dogs out, and ice ice baby.
  15. wow...I'm really looking forward to hearing the album...I just ordered it off Amazon so should be here soon...I can see how it would be a bit eerie...almost like having a vigil or sorts. Do you know much about the movie that is being made about his life? Apparently Sacha Baron Cohen is in the role of Mercury, and it's supposed to be shooting late this year, but that's the most I've heard about it. The more I learn about the guy (Freddie, not Sacha) the more interesting he becomes. ha, yeah it tends to stay on my brain for a day or three, too
  16. Wow...looks like that's off the Innuendo album...I need to pick that one up, cause I think it's the only hole in my Queen collection. Actually, I don't think I have Miracle either...anyway, thanks for posting that!
  17. I'm with ya, brother...in my 39 years, I've been able to enjoy a world championship with one of my teams exactly once - the '95 Braves. Would love to see us become a legit power on the world stage in soccer...
  18. My biggest fear is that the changes he maeks to the American soccer culture won't be evident until after he's gone. I really do think it will take some time to re-tool our approach and our style, I just really hope he's able to re-teach some of these players who are already used to the old ways. I have faith that by the time WC qualifiers begin in 2012, we'll be looking better. I have absolutely no doubt it was the right move to bring Herr Klinsmann in here...I just hope they give him enough time to get done what he needs to get done, cause you can bet ur butt he's goign to do things the right way and not take short cuts.
  19. "FREDDDDD-IE!....FREDDDD-IE!....FREDDDD-IE!" Speaking of Freddie Mercury, is there anyone else who thinks the Flash Gordon song by Queen is really badass? I saw that movie when it was out in the theaters, and every time I hear that song I get super-nostalgic about how rockin' that movie was for a kid to see on the big screen. Then you have "Who Wants to Live Forever" from the Highlander film...just awesome stuff.
  20. Definitely worthy of #6. I saw it happen live (well, on tv...) and it's just as amazing now as it was back then. Randall was an underrated QB, IMO.
  21. Often times European clubs will come to the US and have exhibitions with some of our MLS teams, or national teams will come over to have a friendly with us here...but often times it will be us that travels abroad, like today. Just depends on what they arrange, really.
  22. They played in Belgium, so it was actually Tuesday evening.
  23. I'm actually not worried about their lack of production right now. I expect Klinsmann to completely re-tool the way they approach their matches and the way they structure their attack. It will likely take time for them to implement a new philosophy and to play the way a world class team should play. He's also got a lot of work to do in terms of evaluating talent, as I'm sure he'll want to put his own stamp on this team and completely re-do what Bradley left behind.
