lmao...I just got back from IKEA and was going to tell everyone how great this sofa was.. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S29846777#/S09846778/ They have a ten year warranty on this line, so if it craps out after 5 they're gonna take care of me. It's very, very comfortable and the corner piece with the curved ottoman could serve as my bed...I really liked it, and the whole package comes in at under $2k, which is my unofficial price point. Still going to look around, but this sofa rocks. That being said, some of their less expensive furniture lines are REALLY budget. I can see how some of their stuff would not last more than a few years, but this was one of their better quality pieces. It was built very well. Not even a creak when I sat down on it...very sturdy and solid. It would fit in my apartment perfectly. My family back in Erie wasn't sophisticated enough to have a parlor lol. They were all 2nd generation hard working Polish folks.

Heck yeah...I couldn't believe how good the first unit D looked last night. It's been forever since I saw our front seven wreak that much havoc. It's one thing when you have one prime time player out there, i.e. Kyle Williams. But when you all of a sudden have three or four, things really open up and we can finally knock some heads around. That's what we saw last night. Teams may be able to just double team one guy, but when you have Williams, Dareus, Lights Out and one or two others coming after your QB...bad things, man!!! -
Very cool, thanks man! I really like this set.. http://www.westelm.com/products/henry-leather-sectional-g438/?pkey=csofas-sectionals-couch I'm gonna head out to IKEA tonight since I really want to see if these Chaise things are comfortable...I'm off tomorrow, so maybe I'll hit West Elm, too Wow, that word brings back a lot of memories!! Big time nostalgia trip...my extended family back in Erie always called it the "davenport"...good times

Kelsay overpursues almost every play...he has no concept of containment. He's always done it, he'll probably always do it.

I get so sick of posts like these. Who GIVES A FLYING FANOOTER if we end up sucking this year? We've sucked for TEN DAMN YEARS, can't we enjoy some positives from a frickin preseason game for five damn minutes before someone comes along and lifts their leg on the optimism? We already KNOW we're probably going to have another losing season...you're not telling us anything we're not aware of...but for fux sake, once in a while it's nice to enjoy a little excitement over something the Bills did, misguided though it may be. -
College Football - Do You Follow a Team? A Conference?
ajzepp replied to ajzepp's topic in College Football
It seemed like last year those dominoes were about to fall, but then things sort of stabilized. There was talk of the super conferences and all that, but only one or two of the key teams ended up jumping ship. So I think you're exactly right about how it will continue moving in that direction if it starts up again. -
HAPPY BDAY, HARRIET!!!!!!!!

College Football - Do You Follow a Team? A Conference?
ajzepp replied to ajzepp's topic in College Football
That would be my concern, too. Not saying another school or two would ruin things, but the SEC is such a great conference right now that they need to be careful what they do. I love the SEC so much that it even takes my mind off of how much I hate the BCS and no playoff system. -
From Wikipedia.org "Critical reception The series has received universal acclaim. The first season scored 82 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 25 reviews.[41] Nancy deWolf Smith from The Wall Street Journal said that the "pilot episode [is] so good that it has hooked even a zombie hater like me." She said that what made the show so good was that it feels real and looks cinematic.[42] Heather Havrilesky of Salon.com included the show on their list of 9 new TV shows to not miss, giving it a grade of "A", with the author saying "A film-quality drama series about zombies? Somebody pinch me!"[43] [edit] Ratings The pilot received 5.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched premiere episode of any AMC television series[44] The first season finale received 6 million viewers, a series high; with 4 million viewers in the 18–49 demographic, making it the most watched basic cable series for the demographic.[45] In the United Kingdom, it premiered one week after it did in the United States, on November 5, 2010 on cable channel, FX. The premiere had 579,000 viewers, almost double for any other show on FX that week. The viewership dipped during the season then rose to 522,000 viewers for the final episode.[46] The terrestrial premiere on Channel 5 on April 10, 2011, averaged 1.46 million viewers.[47] [edit] Awards and nominations The Walking Dead was nominated for Best New Series for the 2011 Writers Guild of America Awards.[48] It was nominated for Best Television Series Drama at the 68th Golden Globe Awards.[3] It was also named during the American Film Institute Awards 2010 as one of the top 10 television programs of 2010.[49] For the 2011 Saturn Awards, the series received six nominations—for Best Television Presentation, Andrew Lincoln for Best Actor in Television, Sarah Wayne Callies for Best Actress on Television, Steven Yeun for Best Supporting Actor in Television, Laurie Holden for Best Supporting Actress in Television, and Noah Emmerich for Best Guest Starring Role in Television.[50] The series was nominated for Best Drama Series at the inaugural 1st Critics' Choice Television Awards.[51] The pilot episode "Days Gone Bye" is nominated for three awards for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards—Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Miniseries, Movie or a Special; Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series and Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series.[52]" I've never been huge into the Zombie genre, but this show has really captured my attention. I'd say it's worth a look for sure.

Point taken. I definitely won't buy anything I can't either try first in person or send back if it's not comfortable. I'm more interested in what you guys think of the styles I'm presenting? Thanks for the link...I'll definitley check it out!

Apparently you do not realize the power of my whining. My endless whining got the US Soccer Federation to replace their ineffective coach with the one of the most credible coaches in the world!

It made no sense to me either. If you have a hot show, you milk the HELL out of it. You use it to bring in new viewers to your channel and promote the other shows you have to offer. You charge more for ad time. You make lunch boxes with Walking Dead zombies all over the thing. It's like AMC lucked into getting a date with the hot chick and started peeing down their leg.

That would be why I referred to it as "arguably the hottest show"...not the best show. This is why I always enjoy when you chime in on topics like this...I know you always put out the disclaimer that you have no "insider" knowledge, but I learn a lot about the inner workings of this stuff from your posts What role would ad revenue play in terms of the budget for the show? I would think ad time would go up in cost exponentially when you have a hot show, particularly one that has grabbed hold of the 18-49 y.o. demographic?

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/50767 I really don't understand what I've been hearing about this cable network lately. First I read something about how they were looking for other networks interested in taking Breaking Bad off of their hands, and now this? Seriously, maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't recall even ever WATCHING this damn channel until these two shows came about. I remember having to try and figure out if I even HAD AMC on my Dish Network, let alone what channel it was on. Now they have the best show on TV and arguably the hottest new show on TV and instead of capitalizing on these commodities they just insist on endlessly fuggin with 'em. I don't get this at all...

One of my favorite bands during high school...brings back a lot of memories hearing some of these songs again -
Wow, I never heard that before...if that was premeditated by the Bills, kudos to them...they were "rope-a-dope'n" Jerruh! I also had no idea that Chandler had never caught a pass in the NFL...this will be a really great story if he ends up solidifying the position for us.
-
Dang, I completely forgot about this...thanks for the report...I'm glad to know that we're already seeing some impact from the change I've never been more excited about US Mens soccer than I am right this minute...this is really a dream come true for me...having a German coach for the American team, and one that I've been a fan of for quite some time. This will be a very good relationship! The minute Klinsmann signed on the dotted line, the US team became credible as a world power, IMO. High fives to Bob Bradley and Bruce ARena for taking things this far, but now we're ready to make a play for prime time PS. If anyone is up for a good futbal flick, check out "The Damned United". I just finished watching it the other day and I really enjoyed it.
