None of those players except maybe White is asking for top-3 money. And with White, wouldn’t necessarily expect him to get another contract here given how they’ve been able to plug in replacements and just drafted a future CB1.

Agree re Allen, he’s a cheat code, this was far from his best game and he still stole the Steelers’ souls. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a talented athlete and I watched a lot of Bruce in his prime. As for the WRs - it seems like a healthy Gabe Davis may be their difference between a close game and an absolute blowout. He really hyperdrives the offense.

It’s a troll thread but the point is there that the system they’ve set up may not really need to pay a MLB top-3 money. They’ve got a tough decision to make.

He slipped and fell. It happened to Allen in the Titans game last year. Hell, it happened to Allen in Miami on 4th down, he seemed to lose his footing mid-throw. It happens. That Lamar play was a fluke, he scores there 99% of the time.

Completely agree. It's not that far-fetched and was talked about when he was drafted. We're about 3 years too early for the discussion but it could very well be a late-career move for Tre.

Apparently Mitch has been playing soft. Remember when Trent Edwards threw the ball out of bounds on fourth-and-game and he went from starter to released? That’s where they are in Pittsburgh already. Pickett will at least hang in there and put the ball up for grabs for the Steelers’ big wideouts.

I would not put in a waiver claim if that means picking up his contract but if he clears I’d bring him in for a workout. 4.31 speed and supposedly has experience returning punts which is a need now with Crowder out. Do not want to see McKenzie in that role, it will be a disaster and fast. Although honestly Isabella is basically Tavon Austin with less NFL production so they might just prefer to elevate him.
