  1. And they have cap room because Brady takes a discount. But they'd better not expect YAC.
  2. I'd keep Gragg and Felton.
  3. Well, I don't disagree with what you've said above. I do disagree with your take on Benoit, I listen to his weekly podcasts and he is definitely not a JAG, I learn something new from him every week. Though you're right he doesn't give equal attention to every team or player and can get a bit lazy. I suspect what he's talking about with Tyrod is that when TT's mechanics break down, he tends to throw back-footed rather than stepping into his throws. Though that may affect accuracy more than velocity. My issue with Tyrod is that he doesn't step up in the pocket enough, drive his front foot, and fire passes with anticipation. Many of his throws "look tentative" which is not the same as looking fluttery, but whatever.
  4. Man, I still can't stand Marrone. For whatever reason I was able to psychoanalyze that schmo on Day 1, I just nailed it. So glad he walked. Whaley just isn't very good at his job and seems to be flailing a bit which is adding to the dysfunction at OBD. Rex is a clown but he saw that much...
  5. I think we had better figure out whether 2003 Bledsoe was better than 2016 Tyrod. It's very important.
  6. Benoit is one of the best in the business but I think this highlights how difficult of a decision this really is - credible football minds disagree about what Tyrod brings to the table and whether the Bills should keep him.
  7. I told you - it's a variable label. At certain times in his career he completely destroyed weak locker rooms with his aberrant (at best) behavior (which struck me at the time as a clear display of mental illness). In more structured environments (and/or perhaps during more stable points in his life) he was fine.
  8. The HOF is a farce, it has been for a couple of decades now in pretty much all major sports. It's a marketing opportunity. I can't really care too much about this issue. Fact is, TO had episodes where he was a good teammate and there were also times where he instigated severe dysfunction in weak locker rooms. But I always attributed his behavior to mental illness and his really difficult upbringing (his father was a POS from what I recall). And there have been plenty of dudes like him in the NFL and plenty of them made the HOF - but none of them were the media spectacle that TO became (which is ironic - he probably generated more clicks for Big Media than any player of his era, and now Big Media is punishing him for some weird reason). And as for Vic & Co., the traditional media as an institution has suffered so much decline in relevance and credibility that they'll do just about anything to gain a new foothold. As they say, the smallest amount of power typically is abused to the greatest extent, or something to that effect. Yawn.
  9. When was the last time Doug Whaley was right about a QB evaluation? Honestly, can someone answer that for me?
  10. My deepest condolences.
  11. Anyone will believe any conspiracy nowadays.
  12. I'm guessing McD prefers his safeties to have more range and cover ability. Cyprien is a box guy. Could be wrong but I don't see the fit.
  13. When you put it like that... But I wonder about the "cover" Whaley may think he'll get behind a rookie QB. Makes me very, very nervous. Also I worry about Ryan L Billz getting an aneurysm...
  14. Murray has proven to be system-specific. Wait until Fournette gets drafted by Carolina. He matches that offense like Elliot matches Dallas. Gonna be bananas.
  15. Bell, AP, Elliot, Shady. Then maybe Duke Johnson.
  16. No one really likes those guys, with a few notable exceptions. They're miserable.
  17. There were always whispers that he was a source of leaks and undermined his head coaches.
  18. Denver regretted winning the Super Bowl?
  19. He will die back there. Like maybe literally.
