Sure Hap, or he's not winning his routes earlier and that's why he's not getting the ball later in the down. As for "facts," you offered a hypothesis which may or may not be true. All we've got to go on are his stats and metrics. Do you really think if Beas was just as good at getting open in 2021, the coaches would give him poorer/shorter routes because of his insufferable personality? That's insane, to me, but you do you. I offered facts - I showed you the metrics FO has provided. In response we're hearing (from - coincidentally I'm sure - folks with the same vax stance as Cole's) that he's just as effective as last year but he's being punished by the world. Ok, where is the data to back that up? Yes, it's possible Allen is being pressured more often/quickly and that's why Cole's numbers are what they are. If so the other Bills' receivers should have similar reductions in effectiveness in 2021, right? Do they? I guess I could look that up for you, but it's been about 4 years of having to respond to baseless conspiracy theories with actual data and I'm tired. The more likely explanation? Cole Beasley isn't being asked to run shorter routes because of his public display of idiocy. Instead, the Bills are facing more man coverage this year and Cole has lost a step.

He’s talking about the option routes. One in particular to Knox, Allen threw it inside and Knox ran outside - inside/middle of the field seemed wide open because of a blitz. I think Allen read it right and if Knox had turned the right way it might’ve been a monster play.

The umbrella. (Great unless it's really windy out.)

most underrated move by Beane during his time here

Diggs trade. Exact right player at exact right time. Can you even remember what this team was like without him? -
Quick somebody start a thread “my case for Trubisky and Daboll to the Giants.”

He may be the victim of a few high-pressure mistakes like the overthrow in the Super Bowl. Seems not to rise to the moment but his overall stats aren’t bad.

They got a historic season out of Taylor and couldn't even get baseline competence out of the QB. How do they improve on it other than hoping Wentz miraculously gets better?
-
He missed practice time leading up to the Raiders game right? That was an excuse bandied about for that (or one of the other) loss.

It's just - if you're Reich, you're asking yourself ok, what else do I have to do next season to make Wentz more successful? They've got the best running back in the NFL. They have good enough receivers (probably could use 1-2 more real playmakers there). They've got a great o-line. Wentz was mostly healthy this year (other than his idiotic refusal to get vaxxed and the inevitable missed time as a result). What conditions could make him more successful? They don't have a first round pick, although they do have cap room. How do they get over the hump with that guy at QB?

Still not confirmed anywhere but yeah, if it happens I'd expect meaningful snaps on Saturday night. -

Guessing Obada would go to IR. Or Butler would go to the street. -

Obada sucks against the run and they need to tighten up for the playoffs. Big running team coming in this weekend as a matter of fact. Locker room will LOVE having him back. Short-term contract (I assume) means incentives will be properly aligned. LOVE this. -
You forget where they take a detour to make fun of a mentally handicapped person.

According to Football Outsiders, Beasley declined from 2020-2021 more than any other WR in the league. “Biggest Decline: Cole Beasley, BUF From humble slot receiver to … whatever he is now. Beasley caught exactly 82 balls in both 2020 and 2021, but his yardage fell from 967 to 693, his average gain from 11.8 to 8.5, his touchdowns from four to one, and his DYAR from 267 (12th) to -47 (86th).” (Don’t bother the Truthers with facts, though…)
