  1. OK, good to know. Would be cool if it did though.
  2. There are often times where I see topics that I am interested in and find there are over 20+ pages of comments that I really don't have time to read, but would like an overview. I then read maybe the first couple pages and possibly the last one and give up. I might find enough information from this or maybe the good info was buried in the middle. I suggest that the first page provides the original post and the top 10ish quoted/reacted to posts plus the last post. These 10 would stay in the order that they were written. Example 5th post would be listed before 8th post even if the 8th post had been quoted/reacted to more. After the first page, all the posts can be viewed in order for those that would like to review all. This might not be the final version, but I think it would be an update that most everyone would benefit from. Thoughts?
  3. I would say that there is a chance I might not have been as strong of a fan if the team played like they did in the 2000s in the 90s too. I know I didn't waiver at all during the drought, but without the 90s, would that have been the case? This is a fair question. I know I would be a fan regardless, but may have taken a bit more to another sport. I was a baseball fan before I knew of the greatness of being a Bills fan. Right now I feel all other sports be damned, its Bills and NFL 365 days of the year. I would say that I would still be a Bills fan but may have followed baseball more if the Bills weren't good in the 90s. Keeping an open mind.
  4. I liked how he pointed out this was the first time he was able to make the decision as a free agent. He picked Buffalo! I was completely sold on the fact that he really liked it here, loves the fans, loves the culture. Those are the reasons he is here. He can get money anywhere. He was sold on the Bills when he got drafted. This is where he wanted to be. He left a SB winning team... Has some reservations... He's human. Not just cashing a paycheck. Once he is around everyone, he is going to be energized! Can't wait! Stopping at the field to pray for the team, opportunity, decision, whatever it was, showed a ton of class and humility. He will be humble and hungry!
  5. Not that there is any similarity in character, but look what happened to Houston when they traded away their best receiver. Make sure the vision is clear and everyone is confided with. Trusting Beane is getting easy though. I don't think we should though. He would take less and Josh would help. KEEP HIM!
  6. I'm completely convinced. Miller is better AND we kept the picks. No contest. @Warcodered I am happy to say when I am wrong.
  7. Thanks for joining to whine about people posting conversations. I didn't realize this was supposed to be a site where everyone post updates rather than topics.
  8. Right, I summarized at the end with how I felt about it. That is usually how its done. Go over the details, follow with a decision.
  9. I think I brought a thorough conversation point even though I agreed with the move in the end. I know there are many Mack fans here, me included. Not all conversations that you don't agree with are negative. You could be a politician though.
  10. If you didn't notice, I basically sold that I believe we made the right pick and broke down why. But I also thought it was an interesting topic and wanted your thoughts on it. Or you can provide worthless BS.
  11. He is much more than a local feel good story. Top 5 -10 best DE in NFL is more like it.
  12. I would have added a poll, but not sure how. Not to blame but which you would say is higher value: Von Miller + 2nd and 6th round pick Khalil Mack
  13. After the initial shock of Von Miller going to Buffalo, I have had time to reflect. Why didn't we try harder for Mack? I was sad to see Mack go to LA for only a 2nd and 6th, and thought we should have taken a shot at that. But I turned the page because we didn't have the money. But turns out we did have the money. Now Mack's cap hit for the Chargers in 2022 will be about the same as Millers which is around 17.5M. With that in mind I am curious about the thinking here. If our team was willing to pay that money for a big time play maker at DE why didn't we go for Mack? According to draftsharks.com (which is the first source I found to check injuries and possibility to have injury in 2022, may not be the best) Mack has a lesser chance of missing games in 2022 than Miller by about half. I would also say that most agree, Mack would be the better player of the 2. So did we just miss the opportunity? I want to try and make sense of this and not end on a perception of missed opportunity for a guy that this fanbase is very high on and has for years hoped we would gain. Lets say Beane was involved to some degree. Beane must put very high value on his draft picks. Potentially, Beane was already willing to part with that kind of money but figured he could add Jones or Miller for the same price and not have to part with his 2nd and 6th round pick. So the takeaway would be that Beane believes that Mack for 17M+ a 2nd and a 6th is not worth as much as Von Miller at a similar price. I think I might be able to get behind that but curious of others thoughts. Do you agree that Miller is worth more than Mack + the 2 picks?
  14. Colts!!! Writing is on the wall with moving Wentz and Reich connection to Buffalo.
  15. I like the idea of the teams getting the ball on the somewhere between 25-50 yard line and they drive to get as many points as possible. Then the other team gets to match it or better. This continues till there isn't a match. It is the way...
  16. I don't think this deserves it's own topic but I am curious on the answer. Been frustrated over the Jags loss lately and if that hadn't happened they would be tied for the best record in the AFC. This got me thinking of a unique scenario. What if: Chiefs had beaten the Titans - Record 12-5 Bills beat the Chiefs - Record 12-5 Titans Beat the Bills - Record 12-5 So primary tie breaker is passed around. This would be a unique reason to go to the AFC W-L record but is that the answer in this case?
  17. I was wondering if sometime did have a spontaneous one. But I agree. Pretty sure Fitz got his nickname this way. But talking about it doesn't hurt anything. Go pee in your own cornflakes.
  18. Fair, but I don't think I'm wrong and the Bills are running the table the rest of the way 19-1 first SuperBowl victory and Lombardi goes to Buffalo for the first time!!!! Or is it to early for that too?
  19. My original name wasn't a snow name, it went that direction on its own. Have one to offer without snow? If not get off my lawn!
