  1. Yep. I think if Washington hadn't picked him, Kirk Cousins would have been our first 4th. Now i'm even more pissed about Washington taking him.
  2. Yep. I was totally confused as to why he came out a year early. Dude is all sorts of raw. But he's got some potential.
  3. I'd like to see us bring in either Kellen Moore, Case Keenum, or Darron Thomas at QB. I'd also like to see us pick up James Brown from Troy. He must have really screwed up the pre draft process. We brought him in for a visit and then drafted a Kicker instead.
  4. After how well they did as a whole in the first 5 rounds, I think it's pretty baller that they called it a day with a Kicker. "AND a Kicker! What! In yo face!"
  5. I don't know if I see us keeping 5 RB's total. I think either Choice or White gets cut after camp. And i'd list Bryan Scott as a SS first and a LB second. I also see Asper as making the PS or getting cut after camp. I don't think he makes the active roster. Other than that, I like it. As long as it's "at the moment". I'm hoping for some late signings (namely an upgrade to Thigpen).
  6. Your final thoughts? So you're not even going to wait to see who we get with the 3rd to last pick? Whoever that will be won't think too kindly of you either!
  7. Sure, why not? We've already picked 7 players (the normal amount of picks in a team's draft). If you like him even a little, now's the time to take flyers. Essentially, the last couple rounds are players you want to make sure you don't have to fight other teams for during the UDFA process anyways.
  8. Damn good value, damn good pick. Most of these picks are spot on and GREAT value! Awesome job Buddy. Awesome job.
  9. Oh wow, they went with Zebrie Sanders instead. Nix was talking him down a little bit in the draft process. But I guess they don't mind taking him in the 5th to back up Pears.
  10. Yeah, he was. And just looking at the numbers alone, you tell me who the odd men out are? Considering that you only generally keep 5 maybe 6: Stephon Gilmore Aaron Williams Drayton Florence Terrence McGee Justin Rogers Ron Brooks Leodis McKelvin
  11. With 4 picks still left, James Brown from Troy is still on the board currently. He's a guy we brought in for a visit and is someone who is versatile enough to play both OG and OT. He's also Mel's 2nd best available player. If he makes it to our 1st 5th round pick, I REALLY think we should pull the trigger. It would really add to an already good draft. Dare I say, if we take him: "I FEEL GOOD!"
  12. Oh yeah, I forgot. If Stephon Gilmore didn't spell the end of Leodis McKelvin, I think Ron Brooks just did. #datrite
  13. Traded three syllables for two. Way to get ripped off!
  14. Nah, "The Honey Badger" played opposite Claiborne. This guy must have been their nickel.
  15. I'd be heated if I were him. They went to a full screen Chevy ad on ESPN w/TWC and the pick was missed on TV during this time. Then when they reviewed the recent picks, they started their list to review at 106. Didn't even mention his name at all beyond the scroller on the bottom. Messed up.
  16. Fuggin' greedy bastards.
  17. Mario Williams just tweeted "hell yeah #wolfpackbaby". If Mario likes it, I like it. Jebus tap dancing Crisp, we still have 6 picks left and we're in the middle rounds. Trust your team. We need a speed receiver and this class is short on them. We made sure we got one. A lot of experts like it. So what that you "haven't heard of 'em"?
  18. I was just thinking the same thing. Apparently so. Both the side and the ticker show we pick 69 (hehe) now. Question is: who were we worried that Jacksonville would pick?
  19. All morning, WGR has been saying that David isn't a good fit with our scheme. I don't think LaVonte David is a guy we'd take regardless of who's there.
  20. For the love of Marv, how many times do I have to say it.... RILEY REIFF IS A RIGHT TACKLE! He played Right Tackle in college; never Left. He has short arms. He is a Bryan Bulaga clone. Bryan Bulaga played Right Tackle in college for Iowa and still plays Right Tackle in the pros. We do not need a Right Tackle. We need a left tackle. Collegiate Left Tackles can be moved to Right Tackle and sometimes Guard. But a collegiate Right Tackle rarely (if ever) upgrades to Left Tackle in the pros. Seriously people, please stop looking at who most have projected as the next best Tackle after Matt Kallil without doing the homework as to whether or not the player is an actual fit. ....... Tackle.
  21. He had some sort of surgery requiring a crazy amount of physical therapy. Can't remember what he had worked on, but he's been on the shelf and LITERALLY walking with a walker.
  22. Because he's a RIGHT TACKLE. Capitalization is important because no one seems to understand this. College Left Tackles can be moved to Right Tackle or Guard in the pro's if it doesn't work out for them at Left. But seldom, if ever, does someone play Right Tackle in college and make the leap to Left Tackle in the pros. Oh, and by the way, he's looked like a pretty average RIGHT TACKLE in all his workouts.
