  1. Ouch, that is an embarrassing typo. Thanks for pointing it out to me though.
  2. Dear Mr. Sullivan - I have never really been a fan of yours. I, more or less, have always just taken everything you've written or said on the radio with a grain of salt; mostly just not listening and occasionally laughing. But last night, you actually managed to get under my skin. After a Bills loss, you went out of your way to goat T.O. into a meltdown. Is that what you wanted? Would you have felt better if you were able to get him to lose his composure (or lackthereof, given recent history)? What the hell would that have done except cause more problems for a Bills team that already has too many?! You groaned that he would have nothing to do with interviews for the past few weeks. Openly ripping him for "creating a little line for himself and walking out" when you guys waited in line at his locker. Then you get an interview and you bust out with questions like "Do you feel you and Lee are being wasted?" and "What do you think of the Quarterback's decisions?" after a ridciulously painful loss? What kind of !@#$ asks those kinds of things to ANY player, let alone Terrell?! Even ESPN, who showed the press conference and your questions, said that you were digging deep. ESPN! Who goes out of their way to look for things to talk negatively about regarding Owens. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything else from you considering you have always come across as a miserable son of a B word. Seriously. I don't think i've ever heard you talk optimistically about.... anything! So what were you trying to do Mr. Sullivan? Maybe make a national name out of yourself at Terrell's expense? Do me a favor. Next time you have a question for a player, especially T.O., just don't ask it. You seem to be a bit burned out, Mr. Sullivan. Maybe it's time you do all of us fans a favor and retire. Go fly a kite, Alan
  3. The Eagles, with whom he's like a legend, had their starting RT go down. Runyan, their most prolific RT, was brought in to talk to and work out. Even they didn't sign him. Why the hell would we? Furthermore, even if he was okay, he's ancient. I'd rather have a rookie that was drafted and considered one of the top 10 OT's in the draft than a guy whose got over 11 seasons in the NFL. ...... oh, I forgot. "I've heard of him!" Go watch this video and bugger off:
  4. I REALLY love this move! He was one of the top 10 OT's in this draft and was considered a steal by the Packers where he was taken. He showed a lot of promise during the Preseason and if you look around at Packers boards, no one is pleased. It's not one of those "meh, whatever, we lost a PS player"; they're pissed and rightfully so. Jon Runyan is in declining health everybody. He's got reconstructed knees. He visited with multiple teams following his Dr. saying he was medically cleared and no one signed him. Even when the Eagles starting RT went down, they brought him in and STILL didn't want him. And this was the team he gained his fame in and knew him better than anyone else! Jamon Meredith is not on the last leg of his career. He's a prospect with tons of potential. He's probably the best available at the moment, in my opinion.
  5. If we decide to either trade or surprise cut Roscoe, I wouldn't be against it. We'd need a Punt Returner then. Not to mention, Leodis will be returning kicks while starting at CB, which puts him at risk. He's also still learning and while he shows flashes, we don't know that he's definitely going to tear up the league. Also, Drayton Florence has missed a good portion of camp and the preseason. So outside of T-McGee and Ashton, we don't have a lot of experience. So in my opinion, it's wouldn't be a terrible move and it's not like we'd have much to lose.
  6. Uh.... what? He was a 3rd round rookie last year and didn't play much at all. So, of course, his stats aren't going to look good at all. Not to mention, HE WAS A ROOKIE! If I remember correctly, at the last preseason game, the guy was all over the field. He had a sack one play and picked a fumble the very next play. I'd say it's WAYYYYY early to be labeling a guy with the "sucks" label. I, honestly, would be shocked if he was cut.
  7. I'm in the minority (or majority, I can't tell with the bi-polarness of opinions on this site) in feeling this way, but I wish Buffalo would sign Vick. To all the people who say he has nothing to offer, I think you're forgetting that this guy is a former 3x Pro Bowler and almost single-handedly took the Falcons to the playoffs twice in his 6 years in the NFL, surrounded by almost no valid WR's (save for his TE Crumpler). In a division with a team whose "Wildcat" formation has revolutionized the league, I can think of no one better to run our own version of it than Michael Vick. His experience and out of this world athletic ability would provide stability behind Trent Edwards; something that I think Ryan Fitzpatrick can't. He hasn't looked close to average all camp and he was, at best, average in both St. Louis and Cincinnati. Hell, we are still unsure if Edwards is even the long term answer at this point. Yes, bringing him would bring backlash from the terrorist group, PETA. But he would also bring more money and more national attention to our beloved Buffalo Bills. Terrell Owens has brought a fair amount of that already, but adding Vick would take it into the stratosphere. In a market where every dollar counts and relocation is more than a whisper in the wind, it would be a sound business decision. I hope Russ Brandon and Ralph Wilson reconsider their "stance" and turn the "not interested at this time" to "interested" in the near future. Especially if Fitzpatrick & Hamdan continue to show nothing.
  8. I'm at work, so I can't play the video. What do they say?
  9. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/235557-...come-to-buffalo Just posted an hour ago. I don't know if I buy "The Bleacher Report", but I figured i'd share.
  10. Did you receive the official press release? I don't know, the Buffalo News is a pretty credible source if you ask me. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/200...throwbacks.html
  11. The 1987 Topps Jim Kelly NFL Rookie Card I loved that set! The cards were gorgeous. My parents bought me the entire set from the classifieds section in like 1990. I miss cardboard cards
  12. I've actually grown to liking them. But ONLY if they're combined with the blue pants. The white on white is just god awful.
  13. http://cgi.ebay.com/76-TERRELL-OWENS-2009-...3DLVI%26ps%3D54 Obviously, it's intensely photoshopped, but I thought i'd share. Pretty sweet if you ask me. It's still so bizarre to look at him in our colors. I almost always have to do a double take
  14. "A second-round choice from the 1999 draft, Jansen started 123 games for the Redskins. He was considered an anchor at right tackle, but injuries and age apparently caught up to him." "The team tried to talk him into retiring Friday" Yes, please, get it done

  16. Nelson, easily. He was considered by many to be the 2nd best TE in this draft behind Pettigrew (sometimes behind Jared Cook). In a DEEP TE class, he was slotted anywhere's from the late-1st (depending on how high Pettigrew went) to a late-2nd. It's still an absolute miracle to me he was available in the 4th. Kevin Everett was the 2nd or 3rd best available TE in a pretty poor TE class in 2005. We took him in the 3rd which is about where he was slotted.
  17. No, I don't want him for the simple reason that if we were replacing Jauron that would mean that the 2009 season went terribly arry.
  18. How could you not get excited about a young LB in his prime, who led his team in tackles last year, possibly becoming a Bill? That excitement triples when you realize that he'd be putting Keith Ellison back to reserve duty, finally.
  19. He'll be a starting QB in either the UFL or CFL. Bank on it.
  20. How about Maurice "Not Beanie" Wells
  21. Oh wow! We're bringing in Cullen Harper? He's one of the cream of the crop, undrafted QB's. He's usually ranked in the top 10 or so QB's available in the '09 draft. Almost always above Drew Willy. http://www.draftcountdown.com/rankings/qb.php Another interesting tryout is De'Cody Fagg (save the immaturity), the WR from Florida State. He was invited to the combine last year and completely destroyed his knee. His career was considered over before it even started. Apparently, he's made a miraculous comeback: http://www.tampabay.com/sports/colleges/article975122.ece Too bad we're stacked at WR. He was a stud in college and a top prospect before the combine incident.
  22. No, I still prefer who we took and I find the Madden card interesting because it echoes the thoughts of the many. Orakpo is a better all-around player (right now). But if you're looking for pass rush first and foremost, like us, Maybin's got it all over him in burst and moves.
  23. Aaron Maybin - http://ll-100.ea.com/cem/u/f/GPO/easports....aaronMaybin.jpg Eric Wood - http://ll-100.ea.com/cem/u/f/GPO/easports....ds/ericWood.jpg Brian Orakpo has an 82 rating compared to Aaron Maybin's 78. However, Aaron has an 87 rating on "Finesse Moves" and an 84 on "Speed" versus Orakpo's 66 and 83. Long story short, it looks cool
  24. If he doesn't get reinstated in the NFL and/or a team doesn't want him, he'll go to the UFL. They need the star power in their league.
  25. I'd much rather have a proven pass rushing hybrid who could possibly go down then start the season with Keith Ellison.
