  1. No dude, this would be the PERFECT week for him to come back. You don't want to just throw him in there with the Bears (last week) or the Patriots (next week). Let him start off against a Lions team that may be without both Kevin Jones AND Roy Williams.
  2. Um..... how about (with the exception of Evans) average WR's who can't get open against an incredible defense? But yeah, you're right; Losman sucks
  3. I wanna know how the guy was a gametime decision as early as a couple weeks ago and now he may not play for ANOTHER 2-3 weeks. Great comeback Takeo
  4. I highly doubt Asante Samuel will be someone that will come cheap. I'm sure there will be quite a few teams interested in his services.
  5. It looks like no one else seems to notice that while you've been putting on the facade of a "respectful" opposing fan generously welcoming us into your home, you've been insulting our team from the beginning. That or everyone here has so little faith in their team that they'll allow you to make 41-3 predictions and say that the team doesn't have "fire power". I'll admit, your team will most likely win on Sunday. The Bears are arguably the best team in football right now. But I think you're riding a little too high off of the Bears victory against the Seahawks with your "2006 Super Bowl Champions" banner. I hope for your sake that your team isn't acting the same way. We could very well play spoiler this week if that's the case. We're 2-2, but it's misleading. We could easily be 4-0 right now. Saying we dont "have the fire power" is just an ignorrant statement. After 4 games we have the leading rusher in the NFL. We essentially have a rookie QB back there thanks to injuries and dumb coaching calls (hey, you'd know how that is wouldn't ya? How many years was Grossman out with a hang-nail?), over 1/3 of the team are new to the organization, we have a bunch of rookies starting, and a brand new coaching staff. They're all still learning to play together. Their win against Seattle was impressive. But I also seem to recall the Bears bearly (ha, pun!) being able to squeeze out a victory against the Vikings and exposing a very BAD Packers team. Again, you will most likely win but show a little respect. I can GUARANTEE your team won't win by 38 points. Oh yeah, just so it doesn't seem hostile or disrespectful, lemme add one of these at the end.....
  6. I thought this post was real cool and respectful until I clicked the link and saw that the post included a prediction of the Bears winning 41 - 3 Come on
  7. San Antonio, TX huh? Right winger I take it.....
  8. He's been slowly getting better year by year. I didn't really notice it until last season. I was pretty stoked that we got him to re-sign. I thought at worst he would be decent depth.
  9. Gee, you seemed pretty confident. I hope you didn't sell your soul to Satan for it. It's just one win but an eternity of suffering.
  10. That's fuggin' discusting! The man should be fined and suspended to the maximum. There's no place for that in football. Ask Marcus Vick.
  11. The Texans have been playing decent ball all year. They just went up against teams like the Eagles and Colts (the other team they played escapes me). So when I heard they were coming home to play the Dolphins, I circled Houston (+4) on my sheet in a heartbeat.
  12. Git r' done TD!!! ...... wait.
  13. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=52590
  14. Beat me to it. Whitner was like #2 or #3 a week or two ago.
  15. Get a clue? Yeah, he made a mistake. But so did a lot of other people. He had perhaps his best NFL rushing game and I come on to see this? I think Willis is the last person that should be being harped on after this game!
  16. We knew that we'd have growing pains with J.P. Losman this year since Mularkey bitched out last season and benched him. The interception was just plain bad. But the other two turnovers came on blind-side hits that would have happened to anyone. Right now, i'm feeling okay with J.P. Losman. However, i'm a little concerned with his left side protection and the WR's under Evans' abilities to CONSISTENTLY get open.
  17. Are you serious? The guy runs HARD all day long for over 150 yards. Not to mention, he saves an interception early on by basically jumping on the back of a defender after a deflected J.P. pass. He makes one mistake and you have the gaul to come on here with this?!
  18. Did anyone catch the halftime report of the Cowboys/Redskins game? They were doing the quick reviews of the game and when they got to Buffalo, Chris Collinsworth said: "....and for the second week in a row, J.P. Losman and the Bills played teriffic. I'm telling ya folks, watch out for the Buffalo Bills!" I just about crapped my pants when I heard that! No "the Dolphins lost the game" or "Deion Branch made him do it". Actual praise. I forgot what that sounded like
  19. No. But if he can't get it going we should turn it over to A-Train.
  20. Hind-sight is always 20/20 If we kicked the field goal, they still would get the lead with 2 TD's. We were on a roll and we could have basically put the game away with another TD. We only needed a couple feet. Basically, there was no better time to go for it on 4th Down. It was a make or break play and unfortunately it didn't work out.
  21. Call me a newb, but I have a hard time buying that. Kyle Williams and John McCargo weigh the exact same. Williams is even an inch shorter. So to say that Williams is the bigger, nose tackle type doesn't work. I don't understand why we'd delegate someone who we traded up in the first round for as Larry Tripplett's backup while someone we picked almost 100 picks later is starting. It should be the other way around. Call me crazy.
  22. "Dr. Baby Mama Drama or how I learned to love the skank" by Willis McGahee That's right, he reads a book he wrote himself
  23. Yeah, it was mentioned on WGR550 that Matt Bowen is listed as questionable and that if he doesn't play, Coy Wire will start in his place. I love that our two HEAVILY scrutinized first rounders (and in Whitner's case, top 10 pick) were justified by McCargo not being able to beat out someone we drafted in the 5th round and Whitner not being able to beat out Matt Bowen or Coy freakin' Wire!
  24. Nice! I love paying upwards of a million dollars in bonuses alone for someone who won't sniff the field
