  1. I think Keenum is a better QB than how he looked today. But that's not the point. The point is Fitz is turning 40 years old and retired coming off surgery for dislocating his hip. That's an insanely brutal injury for a 40 year old to come back from and surely led to his retirement.
  2. Case Keenum is a better QB than what he's been showing today. Frustrating to watch.
  3. Watching Araiza's hold back in slow motion, it appears he had to pick it up off the ground and he still got it set right for Bass. Him being the first to hold is probably a bigger deal than him not being the first out to punt.
  4. Meh. He would get destroyed on that first play against a real defense. Looks slow. Other videos show him not throwing on wide open WR's. He could develop into something, but right now I'm not watching these clips and thinking he's "going to be a problem".
  5. McKenzie plays in the slot, OBJ plays on the outside. McKenzie has no barring on whether or not OBJ will be signed. He was fine in LA on a winning team with a quality QB. Looking at how Cleveland is/was being run, how Mayfield was playing, and how he reportedly was behind the scenes - I'd say he was justified in forcing his way out.
  6. If you watched him play for LA last season, especially in the Super Bowl - why wouldn't you? When you look at this depth chart, you see an abundance of slot WR's. While Diggs and Davis are a more than solid 1-2 punch, there isn't much, if anything, outside of them. They aren't going to be on the field for every play and God forbid one of them gets hurt. If a talent like Beckham wants to join up and you can do it, why wouldn't we?
  7. Everyone says doing work before 9 months post surgery is playing with fire. He had his surgery 12/10. That would have him returning to practice 9/10. They aren't going to just throw him straight into the starting lineup on Game Day. He'll probably need a week or two of Practice. So I see Week 3 as the absolute soonest he could possibly come back. Probably closer to Weeks 4-6 to be safe.

  9. Jefferson got most of those numbers playing when Odell wasn't in LA. Odell only played 8 games for LA last season. When Odell arrived, Jefferson was pushed down the depth chart. I'd imagine it would be the same if he returned there. Wherein here, I don't see them reverting Davis back to the role he had before for Odell. Kupp and McKenzie work out of the Slot. Odell is an outside guy. So he's either taking a starting role or rotating with Diggs and Davis or Robinson and Jefferson. He'd get more playing time on the boundary in LA.
  10. I feel like this is just Von and He trying to get LA to come strong with an offer now. If you're OBJ, you'd get more opportunities on a team that has Allen Robinson and Van Jefferson on the outside than you will Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. In Buffalo, we'll want him to rotate. In LA, Jefferson takes a seat.
  11. This is where I'm at. I don't doubt OBJ has interest. I don't doubt Von wants him here. I don't doubt Andre Reed wants him here.... but none of that matters if Beane feels happy with his WR room as it is. And looking at the depth chart and the cap situation, I feel like he's happy with his WR room.
  12. Drafted in the 1st Round 3 years ago and already looking for his 3rd team. What's the success rate on situations like that?
  13. Spencer Brown returned to practice today and he'll be ready for the start of the season. David Quessenberry is the 'Ty Nsekhe' level OT Beane chose amongst all other options available. These are the guys he chose and felt fit the team best. He's not just going to keep signing O-Line talent until he finds one that Allen2Diggs is happy with.
  14. The starting line is without question LT Dion Dawkins, LG Rodger Saffold, C Mitch Morse, RG Ryan Bates, and RT Spencer Brown. I believe you're asking who the RG will be. If they didn't believe Ryan Bates could duplicate the production he had last season when in that role, they never would have matched the long term offer he signed with the Vikings, who were signing him to start. If they thought of Bates as a backup on this team, they'd have let him walk and gotten a cheaper alternative.
  15. There is currently *18* Offensive Lineman on the roster. They signed Rodger Saffold, David Quessenberry, Greg Mancz, Greg Van Roten, Jordan Simmons, and Bobby Hart. They re-signed Ryan Bates and Ike Boettger. They drafted Luke Tenuta and signed Alec Anderson, Derek Kersetter, and Tanner Owen as UDFA's. You aren't going to see any more moves on the O-Line. They've already addressed it HEAVILY.
  16. Training Camp ends in less than a week. If this were to happen, it would have happened by now. I don't see McDermott plugging a guy into start without having Training Camp to gel with the rest of the Defense under their belt.
  17. We already have more WR's than we know what to do with.
  18. If you're Brian Daboll and the Giants, you're probably going to want to see what Daniel Jones can do in Year 4 and under them, after the investment the team spent on him. And to truly do that, you don't want him looking over his shoulder knowing that the new coach brought his own guy in. He either puts it together or (more likely) Daboll and Schoen pick their guy in next year's Draft. And on the flip side, if you're Mitch Trubisky - would you rather go to a team to compete in the Giants or go to a team that you're going to be handed the starting job this year in the Steelers?
  19. I'm an adult who collects autographs. If you don't understand the hobby, that's fine. There's a lot of hobbies I don't understand too. But to each their own. That said, as an adult collector, you need to know what your place is. And that is paying for scheduled meet and greet appearances for a set fee or ordering from places like TSE Buffalo for mail in signings. Training Camp autographs are for the kids. Everyone should know that. And even if you're someone who for whatever reason didn't know that, common decency would tell you as a grown adult you shouldn't be getting in the way of Children. And also the players make it very obvious with their actions at these functions what it's all about. This guy is embarrassing.
  20. Just means he's added monologues and jazz hands to his subpar to average play.
  21. Agreed. If there were interest and money that could be defined as "significant" - he'd be signed by now. I find it very hard to believe. Sounds like a media member helping out an agent to me.
  22. Bobby Wagner is 32 years old. Tremaine Edmunds is 24 years old. C'mon man, you have to be aware of how big of a factor age and tire tread is when it comes to signing a Free Agent. If that's the case, Jordan Poyer should get every penny (and probably more) that Minkah Fitzpatrick got. And I think agreeing that the position as a whole league wide is in rough shape thanks to today's offenses/QBs and still calling him a "middle of the pack" MLB is really downplaying his value. If you think a 24 year old, two time Pro Bowl MLB who has missed a total of 3 games in 4 seasons while being a playcalling Captain of the #1 Defense in the NFL is only worth "middle of the pack" money on the open market - I think you're WAY off base.
  23. You all hate on Edmunds. But the fact is, MLB play league wide hasn't been great. It's why you all think he's just the worst while he made multiple Pro Bowls. Unless you have a Lavonte David, you'd be hard pressed to have anyone in the Middle that doesn't make you rip your hair out from time to time. Today's offenses and QB's are constantly putting MLB's in unenviable positions. And we have a Defense that more often than not utilizes 2 LB's instead of most teams 3 and some teams 4. The margin for error is massive. And I think the haters are reading too much into the fact that his extension hasn't come yet as them being on the fence. I'd bet it's just as simple as they have his extension in mind for next year's books and were focusing elsewhere this season. In fact, it wouldn't shock me one bit if while many of you are writing him off, they plan on Franchise Tagging him if they can't get a deal done before Free Agency next year.
