  1. That's wonderful for him. But that's the nature of the beast. Good teams don't have the room on their roster for Undrafted Pre-Season wonders in garbage time that bad teams like Carolina do. We only ever carry 3 true RB's. Were we supposed to cut Devin Singletary for him? No. Were we going to cut James Cook months after spending a 2nd Round pick on him? No. Were we supposed to cut Zack Moss, who performed just as well, if not better in Pre-Season against better players, and had trade value for a guy like Nyheim Hines? No. With the state of the team and roster as of late, gone are the days of Undrafted Rookies making the roster. And that's a good thing. Get used to these players making other rosters and possibly performing well.
  2. Oh man am I tired of seeing these posts and hearing talking heads banter on about it. It's who he is. It's his game. It's not going to change.
  3. I find this part of the article interesting and confusing. So are they saying he visited the Bills again after the Cowboys? And are they implying that they know Buffalo is third on his list of choices?
  4. How about you just ignore the post? Your not wanting him to come here personally doesn't change the fact that he visited Buffalo and is weighing whether or not to come here.
  5. Or they thought he'd be available sooner than the Playoffs and they aren't interested in that. Or they wanted to see him work out and were turned off by him not wanting to do that. Or they played a dumb game and leaked out info in hopes of him dropping his price and it blew up in their face. Or they saw the writing on the wall that it wasn't going to get done and they wanted to placate their fans that were expecting it while trying to make the Bills or Giants look dumb for signing him. This is Dallas and Jerry Jones we're talking about. I'd never say "well if Dallas is out, so am I". Ultimately, if we are still in this - then I'd say you shouldn't take what Dallas is saying at face value. I'd trust our doctors over whatever Dallas is unscrupulously leaking to the media.
  6. I take it you didn't watch what he did for LA after he left Cleveland? Also... Baker Mayfield.
  7. He's left Dallas without a contract so it looks like it's anyone's game.
  8. There's still 5 more weeks in the Regular Season. One could easily quantify 5 weeks as "several".
  9. No, they released Stevenson freeing up a second roster spot on the 53 and then signed C.J. Brewer. There's still a spot left from placing Von Miller on IR as Alaina said in the second part of the tweet. Wonder who leaked this out? Dallas banking on him wanting to come there and trying to get him to lower his price or the Giants or Bills?
  10. He has left the building. Only chance I think we have is that Dallas comes in with an offer that is less than or similar to ours. Which I doubt with the way Jerry has been talking about him in the press.
  11. It was originally reported OBJ would be visiting on Friday, but I'm assuming he's actually visiting Saturday because no one reported his being here.
  12. Really want him to come here. Especially with Jamison Crowder and Jake Kumerow on IR. But I think it's ultimately going to come down to money and a team investing in him beyond this season - which I don't see us giving him.
  13. I don't know how I'd rank them individually on a Top 10 list of all time Bills - but I'll say without hesitation Allen to Diggs is the best QB/WR combination this team has ever had and it might not be close.
  14. Down Morse, Rousseau, and Edmunds and losing Von and Dawkins midgame on a short week on the road against a team on a 3 game win streak - I'll take a win any way we can get it.
  15. Ed is that f'n dude. Fans were expecting Aaron Donald following his college career and being a top 10 pick and dog him for not being that. But he is very good and deserves another contract.
  16. I said before this season started, the only thing that can stop us is injuries. We lost Micah Hyde for the year. Every single week we're down key players at key positions. Now we'll be extremely lucky if Von's not done for the year. Cannot win a Championship like this.
  17. Good catch. Spotrac needs to update their page. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/buffalo-bills/ They also hypothesize Singletary's market at 5.3 million a year.
  18. With the amount of RB's on the market combined with the what RB's get paid, I could see him not having a big market. The question is with Poyer, Edmunds, Morse, Saffold, Phillips, and more as UFA's - will they want to pay ANYTHING for a veteran RB?
  19. Last year, not having Tre White killed our chances of getting to the Super Bowl. IMO, with a healthy White - it wouldn't have come down to 13 seconds and OT wouldn't have happened. Eventually we'll get him back, but now Hyde is gone. It would be a struggle without him. But without Hyde AND Poyer? And still not having White back. And Elam hurt? It's just way too much to overcome. Especially when we're playing Justin Jefferson with Adam Thielen and T.J. Hockenson. In a vacuum, it's easy to say "it's all on Josh - we still could have won that game". But with at least a couple of those guys in there, there's no way Justin Jefferson goes off for 193 yards.
  20. Could the game have still possibly been won? Yeah. But call me crazy, I don't think Justin Jefferson would have went off for 193 yards if we had even a couple of those guys. Injuries are becoming too much to overcome against the good teams.
  21. No Tre White, Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, and Kaiir Elam was not a good recipe vs. Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, and Adam Thielen.
  22. It would be great if Josh's arm is in better shape than everyone assumed and he starts. But I'm not ready to say for 100% he's starting until we see him under center. They could very well be thinking that if something happens to Keenum, Josh could hand the ball off, make an occasional short to midfield throw, and take off on option runs - which would be a much better option than Barkley. But here's hoping!
  23. I think he's looking for both. But the question is what side does he lean towards more? His tweet showing displeasure at the money offered to him by LA and saying "I know what I'm worth" makes me feel he may be leaning more towards money. In which case, I don't know if we're as big of a suitor as we're led to believe. Bc I don't see us offering him much or anything long term.
