Yep. Playing QB in high school on turf (at Rich Stadium, actually). Throwing a pass, the OL and DL crumple to a heap and roll into my firmly planted left leg (which was supporting all my weight at the time). Knee went, foot did not. Bye bye MCL and lateral menisci. Same thing as you with the temp change/humidity change.

dog You are admitting a mistake and trying to blame the availability of prostitutes for your mistake. No...its your mistake...repeat after me...personal responsibility...personal responsibility....personal responsibility.... Last nite was St. Pats and I went out for several Guinnii. I'm not blaming the bar for serving me because I feel like a$$ today. Personal responsibility.

Not different, just more severe. There have been numerous credit crunches in our history, 1998, LTCM and the Russian default come immediately to mind. This one just promises to be more widespread.

Please re-read my post. Thanks. Nowhere did I say that I did not, personally, like the idea of prostitution hitting home. Now, we can discuss. You said "most married women do not approve." Where are your poll results or academic research to back this up? I spoke with my wife about it when the entire Spitzer thing came out. She said she was lucky that she did not have to do that to get by, but understands there are many who do and certainly does not begrudge them at all. This "Kristen" was just trying to get ahead. My point is that no one would be "forced" into prostitution if it were legal, just as no one is "forced" into stripping now. Choices are made, you live with the consequences. How many lives, relationships, families are ruined you ask? How many are ruined now as many prostitutes are runaways, drug addicts and victims of violence. If prostitution were legal, my guess is far less than are currently ruined.

I had to jump into this one... There is no question that I believe it should be legal. In fact, in certain counties in Nevada, it already is legal. Let me try to deal with the arguments... 1- The government should not exercise dominion or control over a person's body. This goes for all examples...prostitution, organ sale/purchase, seatbelt laws, abortion, eating trans fats etc. Completely ridiculous that any one group can tell another what to do with their personal bodies. Ask yourself this question...if you were diagnosed with kidney failure, and had the means, would you not post an ad on craigslist offering to buy a compatible kidney for $25k? You bet your a$$ I would. Fact is, its illegal. You are just trying to survive...well so is the 22 year old who turns tricks. 2- Legalizing prostitution would remove much of the "street element" from it. You would provide a safe place in a regulated agency to perform the trick. A prostitute would not be beholden to pimps or other street level figures. Also, safe sex practices would be mandatory...if the john doesn't cooperate, no sex and onto the next client. The environment would be far safer and violence against women would plummet. 3- Allocation of resources. Let the vice cops spend their time where it is warranted, not busting prostitutes (trying to get to their pimps). Furthermore, the operation would raise revenue for the municipality where it is located through the normal payment of taxes. 4- I'm quite certain that most would not want their wives/daughters as "working girls," but for some it may be a viable way to earn an existence while working towards better thing. Most people would want the young hottie as a prostitute, not someone older. Hence the high turnover that might be expected. 5- Anyone who says most women are repulsed by it...please ask some women you know. Lay out different scenarios for them, their responses may suprise you. 6- Legalized prostitution is already practiced in many developed countires of the world and in certain US counties. The world as we know it has not ended. We are not exactly breaking new ground here. Studying those areas would help transition any problems that arise from legalization.

Haley Barbour would get out the base, he has a national profile and did a decent job of cleaning up Mississippi after Katrina. -

Terrific analysis. I love Willis, but would not be upset if we came out of this with Lynch/Harris/DeOssie. -

Why is it that people are equating working hard with working a low paying job? I think the 60+ hours/ week I spend working as a lawyer (and some weeks 80-90), make me just as hard-working as any illegal immigrant. Slightly ridiculous to say that all Americans are not as hard-working. -

The loss of Pat Williams was the single biggest player mistake of the Donahoe era. Oh, just FYI, Pat Williams still lives in Buffalo in the offseason, still has businesses in the area, is a high character player, and...oh yeah....is a free agent after this season. If we're all pointing toward 08, and devloping an offensive and defensive identity in 07, then Pat Williams could be the player that takes us over the top. -

DT Marcus Bell is still available. RB Chris Brown is as well. Both would add nice depth to our squad.
