  1. I wasn't aware of the restrictions placed on the '09 playoff clubs... http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/CBA-...44-dbd41fe1999d
  2. He's their 5th head coach in 10 years. How about "Turnstile" ?
  3. WI's LB Schofield O'Brien. IW's Calloway - just ask PSU's Coach Paterno...
  4. Those spiffy nose tackles are hard to find, draft or on current rosters.
  5. See N.O.W. and the NAACP.
  6. He was active in all 16 games, garnering 11 solo tackles and 7 assists. Not exactly what you expect to get out of a #11 pick these days. Perhaps he'll make some noise next season - but so far, he's a just a signing Queen. I guess we'll see what next year brings.
  7. We were taught the "pivot" in high school... We also had Indian clubs to play around with, which today fail on two points - potential deadly weapon, and "insensitive". Can you imagine the furor today, if a couple of kids whipped out their jack knives and became blood brothers?
  8. Look on the bright side...you could be a Hamilton County taxpayer and suffer the Cincinnati B'gals... http://nky.cincinnati.com/article/AB/20100...for-stadium-fix If you have any brains at all, never move to Ohio.
  9. "WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With technology allowing nearly 24-hour media access as children and teens go about their daily lives, the amount of time young people spend with entertainment media has risen dramatically, especially among minority youth, according to a study released today by the Kaiser Family Foundation. Today, 8- to 18-year-olds devote an average of 7 hours and 38 minutes (7:38) to using entertainment media across a typical day (more than 53 hours a week). And because they spend so much of that time 'media multitasking' (using more than one medium at a time), they actually manage to pack a total of 10 hours and 45 minutes (10:45) worth of media content into those 7½ hours."... http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20100120/pl_usnw/DC40308

  17. Nothing is as sincere as cash. Show up with thirty five 20 dollar bills and flash the cash. Then get a copy of the lease, take it home, and read it. If you like the place, negotiate what is objectionable to you in the document. Make sure you know who pays utilities. If it's you, call 'em to see if they will take you on as a customer before you plunk down for a place. It's pretty bad if you do so and the utility companies lift their legs on you. If you agree to move in and fork over dough, be sure to get a signed, dated receipt that includes what it's for, and the property address. And have more cash - to cover security deposit and 1st month's rent.
  18. Eh - Leno, O'Brien, Letterman etc. ...all they have done for years is make political cracks. It's been old for a long time. I can't say I'll wring my hands over Conan's poor plight, though. He's a multi-millionaire, not by making useful products or improving human conditions - just by being a charming gum-flapper.
  19. RIP, good soul...
  20. How long would like to live? You could die at, say, 50 and avoid a lot...
