  1. Because when you have a vehicle - if you bother to read the manual and read the clear steps about how you will be contacted, or even if it you do not have the OEM manual - you can independently contact the manufacturer to be alerted. Long-standing law requires contacting the owner of record. But that begs a degree of personal responsiblilty, if you are a subsequent owner...
  2. I remember the Campus School - SW corner of the Buff State property, IIRC. Does it still operate?
  3. I'm skeptical about Maybin. But yes - Gailey looks to be an improvement, and you are right about development and motivation. Here's hoping...
  4. He's not 246 lb...unless he is wearing an old-style laced corset. He has nice "mechanics", as they say. Living in the area, I saw all of his games, so he's really the only college QB I can make comment about. He has very good "pocket presence", which I consider important. I have to temper my opinion of him, though, because UCin under ex-HC Kelly ran a free-wheeling offense, and their receiver corps was quite good. I see him as an early 3rd round selection - possibly a late 2nd depending on what club is making a choice. He did poorly in the bowl game. Personally, I thought the interim UCinn coach panicked with the defensive calls - too much worry about Tebow's running. That was a surprise, because lot of their opponents did just that, and I figured that they would have been able to deal with that without abandoning pass defense. But they did IMO, and got flattened.
  5. ...douchebag...retard...Nice - another highlight to add to the below, from your 14 posts so far... “Dungy is a bug-eyed, skeletor-looking, self-righteous born-again blowhard.” “Esmonde should stick to public-interest stories about little old ladies and cats stuck in trees.” “Did Bills get Wood after they took Levitre?” “I'd like to see a split between spellers and non-spellers”. “This is good because there is a strong Buffalo presence down here but bad because all these young and seemingly smart folks are moving out of Buffalo. I was kicked out in 94 so that's my excuse.” “Vick is black and he's brash in that thugged-out kinda way. This plays a large part in how the public (white public) is treating this. You can say it don't but it do.” “Who recalls Bills most toxic promotional campaign/giveaway item, the Whammy Weenie”?
  6. Eh - their punk players included Eric Steinbach, who got cited for drinking while...boating. That's what most of their woes were - young folk with beau coup jingle in their pockets pounding beers. CIN has long offered free limo rides to all players - that some don't take up that offer, well, young men do like to be seen in their flashy rides...
  7. Are they allowing the less-restrictive carburetor plate for Daytona this year?
  8. Contract offered to M. Jones, Pacman working out, Stallworth under consideration... http://cincinnati.com/blogs/bengals/2010/0...erest-in-jones/ In anticipation of the uncapped season they also seem ready to offer tenders to some of their RFAs to up their compensatory value if they sign elsewhere, as well as extending several veterans.: http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/Dont...9f-a6b9bc6b249a
  9. Goody. I'll pull my guards and run sweeps all day long.
  10. Shhh. Don't upset things.
  11. For years, and years, and years...zzzzzzzzz.
  12. "The month of February would not be complete without a schmaltzy romantic comedy coming out around the 14th." Credit due you, for using the adjective, schmaltzy But nothing wrong with that ilk, now and again. A light-hearted time at a theater, with a big bucket of movie popcorn, a box of Sno-Caps, that half-gallon of pop - sometimes, just what Dr. Mindless ordered!
  13. I was driving back from my morning coffee, when the radio broadcasted something about an airplane crashing into a building in a building in NYC. The person voicing was using measured tones. I called my late Mom up in Blfo. to turn on her television set after the couple of minutes it took to arrive home, and we stayed on the phone and watched the unfolding tragedy. She uttered, O my Lord, not again. She was a newlywed in 1941, and she and her husband were staining shutters at the family's small lumber mill, when the news about the attack on Pearl Harbor came over the radio. She knew that fathers, husbands, sons, grandsons, daughters and wives these days, would soon be marching off again to war. Two of my nephews - her grandchildren - did. We are so thankful that they returned to us unscathed. War is a terrible thing.
  14. I'd stay with what you already have. That they are radiant heaters with oil jacketing that retains heat is a plus over the more common baseboard units with elements and finning. I'm not sure what you mean by 15 sq ft of wire - typo? You might want to spend that $300 in racks and/or tasteful wall-mount storage cabinets. A fresh coat of paint to spiff it up, perhaps. Also, one of those cushioned toilet seat kits. Don't laugh - you will really learn to like it. They don't last all that long - but for 20 bucks every year or so... I consider them one of life's small luxuries, the concept being that taking care of one's own as* is a desirable goal...
  15. Yes - he does beat it all.
  16. We can only hope that it's a cloistered order...

  18. For some reason, your new avatar reminded me of this YouTube ditty:
  19. Yes - bad...but charming. Since you said you consulted "techs", can I assume you had, or the sales force had, not a whit of regret, a tinge of trepidation, about selling them and pocketing a profit?

  21. Well, he did it several times: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/gamecenter/li...20100207_NO@IND
  22. Polians' defense gave up 15 points in the 4th. Too bad his offense didn't score. That he is moved to comment - OK, no problem, it's just words. But were I so moved, I'd comment on the D. My 2 cents about a non-issue.
