  3. Do you take umbrage against members the citizenry for expressing their 1st Amendment rights? You seem to demean them...ridicule them. I guess I need a teleprompter...
  4. Manufacturing?
  5. "There is unrest in the forest, There is trouble with the trees, For the maples want more sunlight And the oaks ignore their pleas. The trouble with the maples, (And they're quite convinced they're right) They say the oaks are just too lofty And they grab up all the light. But the oaks can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made. And they wonder why the maples Can't be happy in their shade. There is trouble in the forest, And the creatures all have fled, As the maples scream "Oppression!" And the oaks just shake their heads So the maples formed a union And demanded equal rights. "The oaks are just too greedy; We will make them give us light." Now there's no more oak oppression, For they passed a noble law, And the trees are all kept equal By hatchet, axe, and saw."
  6. Do you work in the public "sector"?

  8. That should easily fill the 53-man roster limit.
  9. I just lit up a Winston. Mmmmm...
  10. Look on the bright side. At best, he can only tackle one kid, like his season average.

  13. I started this same topic, but it was vaporized - I went back to delete it 'cause I saw yours, but it was already gone.
  14. Jon Boats. Safe, stable, slow.
  15. Yes - they are nuts, but... 5-11, 1 loss than BUF last season. Beat CIN, PGH, PHI, DEN once, KC. Lost 2 to SD by a total of 12 points. They have a decent defense IMO.
  16. I watched his entire college career. Spread offense, just like St. Bradford. Pike had Gilyard , Binns, others, and a decent if under-used RB corps. Remember, UCinn only had one returning starter... Pike showed superior pocket presence (and that matters). Late 2nd if some team has a bone and a need, otherwise likely 3rd...I think mid or late 3rd. Depends on which club, and opinion about his twice-broken arm. No problem with attitude - very "coachable." He might slip to the 4th...dunno.
  17. Good tip...words to live by.
  18. I hope they got out safely. As you note, the term "seasonal use" means something - roads that can be poor, not maintained, seldom traveled. Weather is fickle - be it snow, gully washers, or whatever. And whatever season. To use one as a shortcut is insensate. IMO, they should only be traversed by those that have prepared beforehand for exigencies.
  19. Rule: Never go where you aren't wanted. These GPS devices can take the place of prudent planning - not always good...
  20. I am by your side, my friend. You will never be abandoned. stuck
  21. Wow - that must be a mess. Previous work had me visiting the Charleston/Knawaha Valley area several times a year. It's a *bit"* hilly... That was 20+ years ago. I hope the "you don't bother me, I don't bother you" way of living still persists there.
  22. Why does the current run of Cialis tv advertisements tell us to look for their ads in the magazine, Golf Digest?
  23. The old iron rocked. Even with the huge improvements in tire technology and aerodynamics today, the old stuff still owns all the speed records. I didn't care for Chrysler's winged jobs, which they produced to combat Ford's 427 wedge tunnel-port motor. Ford came back with the 427 Cammer motor, which got banned. Ford came back again with the 429 Boss pushrod heads (huge intake ports - the diameter where they mated with the intake manifold was larger that the diameter of a baseball). I think it was around that time that the max c.i. was reduced. Myself, I wish they would dump the team telecommunications.
