16 illegals sue Arizona rancher

Judges...the Star Chamber.... OH, for the 1st time in 50 years (!!!), actually de-frocked one last year. I can't remember the number of crumbs put into office locally for more or less life here, or the ones that retire on their fat State pension, then show up for 100K anew - just to "help out". I was a sitting alternent juror a couple of years ago - cocaine case - and the snot in the Robe announced that he was going on vacation, so there was no way that the defendant's trial would go beyond 3 days. So much for justice. If his lawyer took exception, I am sure he would have h*ll to pay in latter cases. This judge was one of those double-dippers. Here's a couple of judicial peaches... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090211/ap_on_...house_kickbacks -

Be sure to commit the F.A.S.T. thingee to memory... http://www3.acep.org/patients.aspx?id=26072 Everybody - read that link. If it's you, if it's someone else. Try to get a smile. Raise arms outward. Ask for a paragraph, say a sentence about anything. And if you/yours suffer one, make sure you get into rehab within a month. I've heard if not, some medical plans won't cover the cost of your road back to normalcy. -

More People Will Quit Smoking
stuckincincy replied to Bill from NYC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Obama put forth and his Congress approved a 61 cent federal tax increase to provide more free insurance for kids. Make 42K and have 2 kids - free insurance. In some States - 63K. Believe me - there is no longer any reason to work and earn more than 15K in America. As long as you are a voter, you will get everything in your life for free. I see that this "bail-out" bill reduces FICA/Medicare tax for folks that don't pay any Fed income tax in the first place. What's that? 40% of the population? Cigarette tax money extracted from people who will die young (and cheaply). How caring... You know what happened to the grab of tobacco profits...all States did little to aid non-smoking efforts - they just piled the 200 billion of cash into their coffers for other purposes. OH just had a glitch. their Governor, Ted Strickland, wanted to use the rest of their boodle for the general fund; some judge blocked him - had the nerve to agree that the rest of the money was meant for smoking cessation. BTW, cig tax is the 4th largest source of income for the OH State government. Do you not question the morality of that? What if smokes were made illegal? What if State taxes rise (ave. $400 in OH) to make up for the taxation dying smokers now pay for? Will you pay that, Bill? -
An end to the myth..."QB is not the problem"

He's right. TE doesn't act like a gunslinger, that will now and then air it out despite the odds against, despite what the sidelines called. I don't get to see many Bills games - but TE's abilities to date, and the Bills' passing strategies seem to be fairly easy to scheme against. Perhaps Thomas delivered a backhand compliment?...dunno. -
Harsh...very harsh.

Browns are trying to trade Derek Anderson
stuckincincy replied to bananathumb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
CLE ball gets shown with regularity here in Cincinnati. So I've seen him in action repeatedly. I agree with your comments. He tossed 4 ints in a must-win game in '07 week 16 against CIN. I will say in his defense though - Crennel & Co. called an absolutely horrible game. Down 6 -0, they had him pass with 1:27 left in the 2nd qtr. Intercepted and run back to the 5. CIN passed for a td. CLE gets the ball back on their 20 with 0:57 left. Again, they called a pass. Anderson's 1st down pass is picked. CIN gets a td on a 1-yard run. Amazing. That loss put the knife deep into any playoff chances. -

Right. I guess you failed to notice universities like Loyola, St. Johns, St Bonnie, Notre Dame, Niagara, Villlanova . Thousands of grade schools and high schools, educating hundreds of thousands in crime-free circumstances. Get rid of them, eh? You surely won't mind school taxes zooming. If you happen to have to pay them. Countless missions providing health care and education throughout the globe, expending billions of dollars donated gladly by folks. Mother Teresa - heard of her? Some of the world's great architectures, paintings, music. Philosophers, scientists. Keepers of the spark of knowledge and civility during the Dark Ages. What a bunch of rot, hmm? Hospitals everywhere. If you happen to live in Buffalo, and you or a loved one is in dire medical need, make sure that that ambulance doesn't take you or yours to Sisters, Deaconess, or Kenmore Mercy. You show 'em that you're no fool. Right. After all, they are just like Scientology...eh?

Need for OT's Will Benefit Bills
stuckincincy replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's the likely case, Bill. They ended up around or near the end of the middle of the pack in run def. despite all their injuries. They re-signed Peko to a fat contract, and last year's #3 Pat Sims looks promising. I'd be surprised if they went for a DT at the #6 spot. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded down...the team owner is likely in a panic about the cost of paying top 10 money. I would keep an eye out about their #2 choice. The incumbent Center, '06 #4 Eric Ghaicuc is no more than an "ok player" IMO. It's possible that their second pick will be a center. I see this or that mock that has them selecting a RB in the 2nd. I have doubts. I don't think they will be able to sign Cedric Benson - who played quite well...he's going to the highest bidder. And they have had bad injury luck with high pick rb's - Ki-Jana Carter, Chris Perry, Kenny Irons. Unless UConn's Donald Brown is still out there. I think he can be a good pro back. FWIW, UCinty's DT Terrill Byrd should spark some interest around round 4. -
I think he is a natural for a front office position - marketing?

Parsing theft...not seeing the larger picture. Do you add that skill to your resume? Find, and read A.N. Whitehead's essay - "Minds In a Groove". -
It's been a while since I've seen them - but I report a sighting. This Saturday, I took my wife for a routine, due, eye exam at the Doc fixed at the hip to a LensCrafters store in a local mall. They had a table set up in an aisle, with two pair of rather vacuous eyes holding up cardboard signs and hawking the Dianetics book. On either side were hawkers of cell phones and accessories - those folks make my mind picture the Biblical money lenders in Herod's Temple.

Don't leave your lawnmower outside and go in for a drink. Someone could load it into their truck, go cut their lawn, and return it. You should have secured it. -
