  1. Just passin' the torch along, my friend... I have a vivid memory of the last game that season, hoping, praying for a Buffalo loss. If they won (PHI did lose), it would have ended up 2-11-1 vs. 2-12, and PHI wins the race to the bottom, and gets Simpson. Leroy Keyes was a heck of a college player - an authentic 2-way player. But fizzled out as a pro. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leroy_Keyes
  2. Hey Ray!!!! I see you brought them back for the FA ba-de-ba!
  3. He was the star of that 1968 team... 1 -12 -1. PHI foolishly won 2 of their last 3 games, and they drafted Purdue's Leroy Keyes. BUF took Simpson. The 1968 Bills: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/1968.htm
  4. Happy B'Day, Gents!
  5. Veronica > Betty. Because of Old Man Lodge's $$$.
  6. He always reminded me of Mr. Ed...
  7. Don't forget Robert James...
  8. Obama & Co. are eliminating the zero Estate Tax for 2010. Ralph will live!
  9. Thank you, Walnuts.
  10. Another one... How do you get to meet a Miami graduate? Call up for a pizza delivery.
  11. That's my understanding. I guess that since he was undrafted, a bidding team won't have to suffer a draft pick loss if they sign him.
  12. ...you should stop the hijacking of a thread away from a fellow with a serious problem as you once again...attempt to turn things in to yet another story about you, and your so, so, sad life. You are odious.
  13. Top 20 pick for a guard?
  14. Is this the year of shedding vets and their salaries?
  15. There are several thousands in the stands any given Sunday, that have rap sheets of length far beyond him. Them, and others spew and ruin the game for thousands. Probably better to go after those sows in the stands. I agree with you - MW's a kid that need a slap "wha' for?" We will see. He's what...23, 24? You used to be considered a child at age 16 or so, then matured, but times have changed.
  16. The last time BUF spent their legit top pick a LB was in 1987 - Conlan. 22 years ago. Perhaps it's time.
  17. Thought you did. Oh well.
  18. I still have my '98 S-10 as my daily driver...bodywork...it's a bit rough. Not much rust to speak of - beer bumps. '98 Blazer, S-10 folks? Have a problem? I can help.
  19. Do you still drive that Blazer?
  20. Yeah, you have to. TT was a great back, for sure. Simpson was a big back that floated and moved and was as elusive as if he was 180 lbs., and then bowled over tacklers when they got to him. He was "lights out" in his early KR duty. He averaged 30 yards back in the old days of ko's from the 40, and had a 10.6 yd ave pass yards number. IMO, he was the best physical RB specimen since Jim Brown, with Hershel Walker next in line.
  21. Not a bad retort. I'm pulling that 3M grant I gave to the FSU Chemistry department last year, though. I'll tell 'em you inspired me.
  22. Certainly I was angry. They turned into Democrats...fatted cows. Promo, you have shown - for some time - a growing proclivity towards becoming an apparatchik. If you work for a governmental entity, well then I understand...mope, cash the check, kiss the hand, lift the leg on the private sector, encourage more government, or be one of that very extreme rarity - those that quit. Wise up. And don't defend blz.
  23. Think global - see the big picture - don't be captious.
