  1. Yep. If he will suit up on the cheap, I'm all for it. I'd toss in some sort of signing bonus, too. 795 carries - 11 fumbles. I'll take that. You can't neglect the bench - injuries will happen.
  2. I guess that drops them out of an early round RB drafting. Benson was impressive after his first two games or so, when he was signed mid-season. He hit tacklers like Dillon did. Good hands, like Dillon, too. They had the hots for UConn's Donald Brown, IMO. As well they should have. I like that youngster. 3. A fair assessment, words like that, irks a lot of folks here - the solid cadre that get their jollies seemingly only by denigrating other teams, and go and lick themselves by blurting out that any player that doesn't bend over to sign for the Bills is therefore worthless and any team that does clearly has overpaid...
  4. What is the difference between a Communist, and a Nazi (National Socialist)? It can't be oppression. It can't be the numbers of murdering of a population. Stalin beat Hitler there. Please explain why you chronically refer to our PPP section as a Nazi board.
  5. Well, I don't know much about the current crop of Bills' linebackers. Except that I haven't heard the name of one of them mentioned by any media outlet all last season, as doing anything noteworthy of especial mention. "Feature " running backs, receivers, safeties, DE, OT, etc.... I want a feature LB.
  6. Nobody want to hear that, VA...
  7. Speaking of fools...6 to 8 bucks for a 12 oz. Budweiser? Three bucks for boiled hot dog?
  8. I think they would be nuts to buy Greer at the high rate.
  9. How are his blocking skills, on running plays and for fellow receivers?
  10. Well, I see very few Bills' games. But were I competing club, I'd drop down and plant a hard hit to his ribs while he sticks those arms out.
  11. See also this allegation about Cushing: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/risersandfallers
  12. We really, really need to get rid of the civil service protections of the inept, who fester for decades. Can a good man need such artificial protection? Are you with me, in eliminating this anachronism?
  13. Not me. You seem to be putting forth some sort of implication. If so, what is it?
  14. That's what people in show biz do. Football included. Can you actually think the business isn't populated by huge numbers of folks that will say anything, going for the grab for money? Good gosh - look at the incessant credits at the end of a movie - everybody in the biz nowadays has to get a little lump in their pants...
  15. Wet, I assume. Just like every night...
  16. Maybe. But appreciate the fact that it's always a dice roll, and no player is a certainty. If you sit back and wait for the "sure thing" to happen, you might solidly nail yourself over the years into that also-ran category. Sometimes, you just have to take a chance...
  17. Still, it pays to take a look...you never know.
  18. Well - what's your solution? If there is indeed some need, I don't exactly see FA wr's beating the doors down to come to BUF...
  19. Yep - I see no reason why they shouldn't spend a few bucks and fly him in for a chat, either. I don't know about "mentoring" being a thing, though...all teams have, and pay, coaches for that.
  20. Dillon was a common, garden variety jerk - no doubt. I admire him for refusing to have anything to do with the press. I wouldn't label him as a malcontent - on game day, he was an insane competitor. I don't understand what "jaded" by the losing of their former teams means...when the game started, he was all business with CIN. He was one of the best backs of the past 10 years...followed the blocks, crushed tacklers head-on, was great at coming back into a play to help an aggrieved QB. He didn't have this so-called "deceptive speed". When he broke out into the open, he was a jet on afterburner.
  21. Like many an NFL team, they focus their resources on the taxpayer's money and the fan's wallet.
