  1. It varies but most play 12..
  2. But you are on the hook for treatment.
  3. Yeah. Ticketmaster has already announced they won't give refunds. Bastages. I bought a lot of concert tickets this summer.
  4. FCS starts with 24 teams. D2 has 28. D3 has 32.
  5. It's was a dump. Beloved, but a dump.
  6. Didn't FIU, led by this QB, beat Miami this year?
  7. I went a few times. My first Bills game was the '69 season opener against the SB champion Jets and Joe Namath. I walked from my house near Broadway Market with my sister. It was like a parade as we got closer. Some cars were parked on tiny lawns. I remember the melee in the end zone on every FG and XP. That was before nets so kids were fighting over the free footballs. Of course you know that's where the filmed "The Natural" with Robert Redford? I had a flashback a few years ago when a buddy and me went to Hamilton for a Ti-Cats game at the old Ivor Wynn Stadium. Looked and felt the same.
  8. If FCS, D2 and D3 can manage a real playoff, FBS can too.
  9. Great question. My guess is if the league does not play a game in a 2020 season, that does NOT count as a contract year. Then again everything in the NFL is tied to the "league year" and we are in the 2020 league year now.
  10. Hoo boy, you know some people won't get vaccinated.
  11. I don't think it would be any good. See if your local fine liquor establishment has some. I'll bet there's at least one brand available. There is a local distiller named Djinn that makes an excellent krupnick they distribute.
  12. It's pretty good stuff in a shot. Buffalo Distillery makes they're own brand of krupnick. Here's a cocktail made with it, a muddled blackberry and a splash of seltzer.
  13. Much like the airline that bears it's name. Running late. And why Allegiant Stadium? Was Goodwill tapped out?
  14. Part of the reason is liability. They don't need even more players suing them over CTE.
  15. In honor of Dyngus Day I will down shots of krupnick while standing in the shower and whipping myself with pussywillows.
  16. No thanks. There are dozens of capable backs who cost less and don't come with the ego of Shady.
  17. Was it any more expensive to produce than your typical NHL game that gets ¼ of the ratings? Vince McMahon is a smart man. The XFL's ratings were in line of expectations when he committed to funding the league for 3 seasons. The Coronavirus outbreak took everyone by surprise. There is simply too much uncertainty for Vince to carry on at this point. But I don't believe he's done.
  18. I've been making a point of getting restaurant takeout on Sundays. But the one place I'd go to once the all-clear is sounded is the Red Rose in Lowell, MA. Terrific Cambodian food.
  19. Rather than compare the XFL to the NFL, compare it to what else is on February. For example, here are the ratings for all sports on TV on February 24 through March 1. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/skedball-weekly-sports-tv-ratings-2-24-3-1-2020.html. The Seattle/St.Louis XFL game was the 10th best in % of households (1.11). The highest rated show was a NASCAR race at 2.9%. Mind you this was the point where XFL ratings had fallen off, but it was still in the Top 10 of all games shown that week The last week of all sports on TV. An XFL game still in top 10. The NHL would kill for XFL ratings. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/skedball-weekly-sports-tv-ratings-3-2-3-8-2020.html Week one of XFL. #2 and #3 rated game. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/skedball-weekly-sports-tv-ratings-2-3-2-9-2020.html So understand the so-called ratings collapse of the XFL, it went from being the #2 rated event of the week to the #10 rated event. It still had higher ratings than pretty much every NHL and college basketball game.
  20. Bravo. They chose to take the risk. So if someone at the party gets infected and goes home and infects his family or other people at the supermarket they shop at, did those people get a choice?
  21. Their governor is getting ready to throw the doors wide open in May because it pleases master.
  22. They had fans. And their ratings were right in line of expectations. It was working well enough for another season if not for the Corona-cooties. No point planning for 2021 yet but I expect them back in 2022...assuming he economy isn't collapsed by then.
