Not to mention the layout at Fenway for hockey is the worst. I went to a college double-header there the last time they hosted an outdoor game. It wasn't full so I walked around the entire stadium and couldn't find a spot where you could see the ice well. You're basically buying a ticket to watch a Jumbotron.
Be like Jack White opening a Third Man Music in Detroit.

That's dumb. I find it tedious wasting time on spots. And what's more frustrating than seeing an official miss-spot the ball when you can clearly see the right spot watching TV?
I'm very interested in the rest of the rule changes. I see the USFL has no qualms about a fair OT. Why the NFL is allergic to the concept I'll never understand.
I bought a Houston Roughnecks T. I'm such a frontrunner. (They were 9-0)
They would be smart to bring some original USFL alums to be interviewed during games. I bet Jim Kelly has some good Gamblers stories.
And your point is? Any league that isn't the NFL is going to be inferior. But it will still be better than college. And there is a some demand for spring football. The XFL's ratings showed that last time, placing at least one game in the top 10 sports ratings each week. And what's wrong with having a second chance league? The NFL can't have one because they don't need/want to additional liability.
BINGO.
NFL Europe did quite well with attendance and viewership. It just got too expensive to run a league overseas and it exposed the league to further liability for CTE.
If the league lasts 3 years it will have made it. Don't forget this version of spring football was created by Fox and NBC sports. The last couple attempts were leagues with their hands out to TV networks. Totally different dynamic. Then throw gambling revenue on top of that?
Minor league teams. The Bisons, the NH Fishercats, the old AHL Buffalo Bisons, The original USFL stars. Then there's UB winning some MAC championships. That's about it.
This will test how the NFL responds. They have been willing to sweep a lot under the rug to "protect the shield." But now it's personal between the owners. The old boys' club finally has one of it's own committing fraud against the rest of them. Once they pick their jaws up off the floor, how will they respond?
And yet it did....
It's not that hard to believe it escaped the NFL's notice. This is a case of "no one would ever really do this to us, would they?" If you are going to a commit a crime, break new ground.

I don't mind buying stuff cashless. I prefer to just touch the chip card and be done. But mobile tickets can be a royal pain if you can't get WIFI or mobile data at the stadium. I always get the plastic cards.
