  1. I'd settle for the other guy who lost his job to Schwes. Owen Daniels offending both Crips and Bloods with his wardrobe and gang signs.
  2. Cleveland War Room: "Are they starting the clock? Did they start it yet? Where's the clock?"
  3. Well that's the thing. If the ball is coming out in 2 seconds because guys are wide open against 10-yard cushions, it doesn't matter if your DL is Bruce Smith, Aaron Donald, Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor. That was THE glaring difference in what the Eagles did to the Chiefs vs what the Bills did, besides not getting screwed by the refs.
  4. I'm generally not in favor of a trade up but man if Scourton is there at 50 i'd be inclined to shop 132 to secure him. I do expect he's gone by 40 tho.
  5. The Drafttek AI is a cool little widget that adjusts projections on the fly as players are selected but the current state is kinda gross https://www.drafttek.com/2025-NFL-Mock-Draft/2025LiveDraft.asp Editing for my preferred option instead: 56: EDGE Landon Jackson, Arkansas (DT TJ Sanders, SCar) 62: DT Joshua Farmer, Criminoles (EDGE Oluwafemi Oladejo, UCLA) 109: DT Jordan Phillips, Maryland (WR Tory Horton, Colorado State) 132: RB Devin Neal, Kansas (S Billy Bowman Jr, Texas) 169: OT Hollin Pierce, Rutgers (LB Collin Oliver, Oklahoma State) 170: WR Isaiah Bond, Texas (DT Zeek Biggers, Georgia State) 173: C Seth McLaughlin, Ohio State (G Bryce Cabeldue, Kansas State) 177: WR Xavier Restrepo, Miami (EDGE Sai'vion Jones, LSU) 206: P James Burnip, Alabama (RB Trevor Etienne, Georgia)
  6. Bills will improve their coverage one way or another.
  7. The Bills can easily draft 10 guys who have a legit chance to compete for the 53.
  8. There was one path I came back to a few times and that was taking Scourton at 30, and invariably I'd get one of the asterisk'd CB's Revel or Morrison, or at worst Porter. There weren't that many CB-needy teams after around 45. The 90's is a good spot for a choice of Winston/Bowman/Mukuba/Sanker, if all are acceptable scheme fit on a horizontal board. I still think one or more may be there at 109, how far did Hicks fall last year? For once, let the Bills be the team where the draft comes to them, like it kinda did on Day 1.
  9. If it worked out with Sanders and Oladejo I'd be pleased. Thought I heard on Sanders that the Bills project him to be able to swing between 1T and 3T and his pass rush win rate is great. If the Bills think Farmer can be a 3-down guy then that might be the way they go but is the value there mid-2nd round for that gamble. Oladejo has every trait you'd want and was as good on his Senior Bowl reps on the D-side as Zabel was on offense... but he's been out on the edge for only a year. There's untapped potential there. If they're carving a role for Hoecht as a joker who can play stand-up or hand in dirt on a given down, Oladejo can plug right into that exact role as a rotational disruptor with upside to full-time Edge. Watts doesn't add the speed to the secondary that Hairston does but he just makes plays. He's got the ball skills as a former receiver and his instincts are superb, and he's such a hand-in-glove fit as a deep-half ballhawking complement to Rapp/Bishop that it would be a fine plan C here.
  10. Not a big surprise, W Johnson has been a big faller in sentiment in the last week. I won;t offend #47 again this post
  11. Same reason they say "Buffalo's man coverage heavy scheme" - they're dummies.
  12. Would be chuffed with a haul of Watts and Oladejo.
  13. Round 1 of the draft in the books... now we know!
  14. The thing Cosell touches on at the end of the Hairston assessment is EXACTLY the thing - the disruption to passing offense doesn't come from the DL anymore as much as from the secondary coverage and jamming routes on press. Hairston may not be physically dominant on press, he doesn't have the shock I've seen from an Amos or Thomas, but he can be up there, in the QB field of vision without fear because his recovery speed is ELITE.
  15. Who cares? There's 2-down 1-tech widebodies all the way down to PUDFA. Jamaree Caldwell, CJ West, Cam Jackson, Zeek Biggers, Yahya Black, Stackhouse, Brinson, Horsley, etc etc etc
  16. Welcome to the Buffalo Bills!
  17. Process guy, high character yes. Fastest guy in the class, with total fluidity to mirror and match, well I guess that's just a perk.
  18. Hairston's suit, I used that wrap on an old Celica
  19. I'm fine with Hairston. Process guy.
  20. They;re talking edge on NFLN with Green and Ezeiraku. Le yuck.
  21. Beane's trying to trade down. No doubt.
  22. I love Scourton, Amos or Hairston here. Maybe Scourton more than most since the DB's have been SO devalued that you might get a PFF special like Revel at 56 just drop on your crotch.
  23. I don't care about bad luck. I'm fine with these other teams reaching for devalued positions. May work for them, may not. But it drops high value guys at high value positions to the Bills slot. Conerly to the Comanches. It's a Smorgasbroad for the Bills at 30. They have tons of options for guys that can help them.
