What a rep from Calais Campbell, chop the center, chop the guard, straight line to the QB

Jackson Hawes podcast interview with Eric Wood.
Ralonzo replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hawes looks like Wood's younger brother. -
This is some profoundly bad football going on here.

Arizona sat front-row at a motocross race before the game, I take it?

Same as walking past the rando in the Bills cap at Home Depot... "Go Bills" "Go Bills" <slight nod> go about my business

I'd think this guy is just taking the piss but he's got teal on and his eyes are looking at different walls of his room. Thought I saw something over at finheaven about Miami lodging a formal complaint with the league about something happened during the game (besides this) which would be absolutely no surprise. That was it, the kneeldown in the first half.

Steelers come to mind using a 0-technique in their 3-man DL base set. They specifically look for Big Huge McLarge blobby guys (Yahya Black recently) to just plop over the center. Theyve been running that for two coaches now (i.e. since the Carter administration)

The Ovechkin outtakes were legendary... "Can you give me some shots vodka please?"

If Ray Davis doesn't want to be Ray Davis anymore the Bills could go find someone who does. It's a shame because the Bills could use a Montgomery thunder-type to complement the Gibbs/Cook lightning-type, and Davis was much more of that last year than currently. Maybe someone like Hishaw if he's around late late due to the injury concerns.

The Lions traded effectively 3 3rd round picks (2025 #102 + 2026 DET 3rd + 2026 DET comp 3rd for Aaron Glenn) to move up for Teslaa (at 2025 #70 + 2025 #182 + 2026 6th) who most had projected late day-3 until he blew up the combine.

Thought about floating his draft thread to remind everyone. He was actually decent in '23 preseason, but got beat out by Alec Anderson.

MNF Week 3 2025: Detroit at Baltimore (no Bills discussion, please)
Ralonzo replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would be very curious to see what Lamar Jackson's output would be if you removed the plays where the first read wasn't open by 3 yards, and he completed the throw from the pocket to a secondary read. They do a lot with their scheming and the threat of running with Henry to get guys WIDE open, and Lamar does tremendous damage from scramble drill, but I'd love to watch tape to see if he's actually going through progressions or it's strictly Plan A wide open or Plan B freelance. -
In real life he still seems like a dumb jock; I was cringing for him as a guest on Peyton/Eli. Took so long to process any information given or question asked. It was like the internet before fiberoptics. Wouldn't sleep on Mayfield. Surprised me to hear about Herbert getting hot-take MVP buzz, but it doesn't surprise me to hear it about Mayfield considering the ending of the first 3 Bucs games. He's dragging them over the finish line. Clearly too good for the Browns to keep around.

I think it was Cynthia Frelund on NFL Network that was the only one to CHANGE her pick from Ravens to Lions when the report came that Madabuike and Van Noy wouldn't play and specifically cited that as the reason. She crunches the fantasy projects and Vegas plays on that network and apparently there's a reason for it, she seems more of a sharp than I gave credit for. -

I hope all these Lions fans hanging out cheering the post-game interviews know enough to form up a phalanx to get to the parking lot. -

Doesn't change the number of possessions you trail by. If you make it and get the onside, TD + PAT wins. If you fail the 1st 2 pointer and get the onside, you can still tie with TD + 2PT. -

Thought they coulda ran the clock there, Branch was pushing Lamar backwards as he crossed the sideline. Edit: they did wind the clock, Baltimore had to use a timeout on offense. Similar to Bills vs Rams last year, now Ravens have to get the onside kick, they can't just play D. -

In the first half the play clock was just behind the game clock (e.g. 10 seconds vs 2:09) so you can let it run down 2:00 for the warning. In this half the play clock was just ahead of the game clock (e.g. 9 seconds vs 2:10) so play clock would have hit 0 at 2:01 for delay of game. Which is why Detroit had to run the play. It's not particle physics.
