For this poll, we tried to focus on players and positions that the Bills are most likely to draft at this slot, from a consensus of draft rankings and Mock Draft ADPs. Poll will close at ***2***pm on 4/5/25. The eligible players are based upon those who were not already selected in the TSW 1.0 Mock draft linked below: We went heavy on DL and EDGE because frankly there's a lot of them clustered around this draft position, and both are among the Bills top needs. Considered, but not making the final cut for the poll: DT: Deone Walker Kentucky EDGE: Kyle Kennard South Carolina Josaiah Stewart Michigan Jordan Burch Oregon CB: Darien Porter Iowa State WR: Tre Harris Ole Miss Jalen Royals Utah State Savion Williams TCU RB: Cam Skattebo Arizona State Kaleb Johnson Iowa TE: Elijah Arroyo Miami Mason Taylor LSU OT: Ozzy Trapilo BC G/C: Jared Wilson Georgia If there are any oversights let me know! If a write-in is gaining momentum, we can add to the poll.

Nominally it's beyond my pay grade but I think I can try to use your first one as a template. When's the expiry supposed to be?

Hairston was selected #36 by @TPS / the Jaguars. Can you try that again?

Some of these media drafts are so far out of touch that @Best Williams Available is actually a better strategy...

I think @GunnerBill said something about being on a plane today? It's been 3 hours, so based on Chicago's team needs and his posts, I think I have an idea who he might target with this pick. In lieu of Gunner, I think he'd pick: Nic Scourton EDGE Texas A&M Chicago had a huge void at running back that was filled by Ashton Jeanty at pick #10. But, both OL and DL need some serious help. The OL depth has been pretty well plundered, I have Donovan Jackson top of board here and am not convinced he's a value pick here. Montez Sweat is the splash signing for Chicago so while EDGE isn't the greatest need, Odeyingbo is pencilled as the opposite starter. But surely, Scourton is sticking way up on the board at this pick, and we know Gunner likes the player, just a matter if he feels it's a fit in Chicago - but checking with the Chicago media, I see some mocking this player at this spot, so it sure seems like a fit.

They coulda took Dejean last year, but were chasing the WR.
-
I got a good idea on reasoning... Jags team needs were listed as "CB, DT, CB"
-
But for as much as the WR room sucked and they all underperformed... the Bills sure scored a bunch of points didn't they? If Beane is going WR before Day 3 this year he'd better have a damn good idea that the guy has #1 upside and is decently likely to achieve it. Coleman was the swing taken early and whether you think that's the guy that the swing should have been taken on, that book isn't written yet. Using the top pick on the same position again? Not a fan.
-
Conversely, if Mahomes dinks and dunks down the field against Dane Jackson to eliminate the Bills AGAIN, people will blame Beane for drafting BPA with a glaring roster need.

Sooo... Trey Amos?
-
I want to invest in a WR5 who can play special teams and red zone packages this year and has upside to at least WR2. Teslaa is that guy for me. Check out the Senior Bowl, he was as much a red zone cheat code as a receiver as Josh Allen is as a QB. This is something the Bills could have used like oh I dunno, the last drive of the Rams game.

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)

Big fat slobs are for Day 3. There's a reason skill positions are called skill positions - not everyone can do it. -
The pick Dallas holds that might be interesting to the Bills is #76. Your valuation on Cook probably has a floor of whatever his potential comp pick would be if the Bills do let him hit the market in '26, so yeah a 4th. If Dallas is desperate for a RB then 109 + Cook for 76 is probably closest to that ballpark. They downgrade a 3rd to an early 4th for a year of prime Cook and the prospect of extending him or recouping a 4th or 5th comp. Doesn't really help the Bills much in a window year unless they draft someone to take up that backfield slack, but #76 can definitely yield something good...

For the first time in a long time I'm against the Bills entertaining a WR on Days 1-2. Where would they play him? Shakir in the slot and Palmer at boundary are set. Then there's Samuel and Coleman as roster locks. This is the draft to get a traits guy later. Too many people are smart to Donte Thornton from Tennessee, I think someone takes a flyer on Day 2... my combine crush is Isaac Teslaa, he'd certainly be worth a flyer in the middle of Day 3. Kind of a faster Hollins - big frame, willing blocker, great hands, clocks in the low 4.4's. Been deployed mainly as a big slot and needs coached up to play outside, but toolsy.

Or draft JJ Pegues and hand it off to him -

That's not what I'm seeing on Sporting News... this one is worse 30. Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall (6-3, 251 pounds) 56. Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee (6-2, 291 pounds) 62. Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State (6-1, 197 pounds) 109. Savion Williams, WR, TCU (6-4, 222 pounds) 132. Jonas Sanker, S, Virginia (6-0, 206 pounds) 169. Connor Colby, G, Iowa (6-6, 309 pounds) 170. Tonka Hemingway, DT, South Carolina (6-3, 284 pounds) 173. Kitan Crawford, S, Nevada (5-11, 202 pounds) 177. Kyle Williams, WR, Washington State (5-11, 190 pounds) 206. LeQuint Allen, RB, Syracuse (6-2, 204 pounds) Then there's this one, https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/buffalo-bills/news/latest-mock-draft-features-trade-will-leave-bills-mafia-livid-new-england-patriots-new-york-giants-lenneth-grant/c26a192169dacbaa7adb368c Bills trade down, #30 + #109 to New England for #38 and #77, then shift #38 + #132 to the New York Giants for #34. What the hell is that trade board value anyway? Pats move up 8 spots INTO R1 for the DIFFERENCE between a 3rd and a 4th... but for the Bills to move up only 4 spots in the 2nd, they need to give up a 4th rounder? Who comes up with this stuff. -
Commanders have only 5 picks. They have already spewed a lot of 2025 and a fair amount of 2026 draft capital to get win-now pieces. If anything the sense is that they'd be looking to trade down from 29 to try to replenish some picks.

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
Ralonzo replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
To me the biggest difference is we do see Elam playing on the line but you do not see him disrupting routes physically. He allowed free releases (and was a step behind). With the Bills, that was his biggest weakness - other than grabbitis. He whiffed comically trying to execute on rare occasions he was asked to get a jam off the line. Amos will press and disrupt line releases. This is key to countering what KC did to the Bills in the AFCCG, their free releases and easy yards just bled the defense. Philly molested KC in that 5-yard contact zone and you saw what that did. If anything that Elam rack makes me feel better about Amos - most of it is Elam playing off the ball in zone and crap QB's throwing the ball right to him, or a late throw allowing Elam to react and get back to the spot. For a guy supposed to be a man specialist he seemed to get beat by his man quite a bit, and recover only because the throw was bottom-tier. Amos to me is more reminiscent of McDuffie that Elam in what his rack is showing. Bills need a CB who can jam releases, can plaster and has long speed. -
TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
Ralonzo replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's fair to argue the point, Elam never showed with the Bills what he did in college for reasons we'll probably never know... to me he still looked markedly stiffer in his movement than what I've seen of Amos. But one of the other reasons he's making plays in this highlight package - my opinion - is those are some unbelievably terrible throws by lousy QB's. -
TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
Ralonzo replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really and it doesn't take 40 seconds. The 1st highlight, the INT, he jumps the route and picks it off. I saw Elam do that. The 2nd highlight has Amos pressing a much bigger man, plastering him down the field and breaking up the pass. Elam is lucky if he gets his hands on the guy and probably ends up with cleat marks on his chest if he does. The one right after that, playing off and changing direction, flipping the hips a couple times, never saw Elam do that either. -
TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)

I was considering Scourton as an edge fit for Washington at 29. I noticed you do not have him in the 1st round in your 2.0 Mock. Just a personal point of curiosity - where was Jihaad on your board? Would you have considered him for Buffalo at #30 had he made it? I think Edge is the greater roster need and positional value, but went Campbell based on his traits outweighing those other factors, I see him as a top-15 or top-20 OA, and I wasnt blown away at Scourton's combine, looked stiff to me.
