All Draught Team Bills vs the 2025 Bills
JP51 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
a blood letting of epic proportions LOL... Hank would have them boys whipped into shape too! 🤣 This is interesting.. cause you could view it if they played in the drought and never made the playoffs.. or if they ever made the playoffs on either side they were ineligible... I picked players that played in the drought era that might have been in the playoffs prior to the drought ending but not after... So, Moulds to me was ok, Tyrod was not... doesnt really matter... just interesting peoples views on how you would pick... anyways late on Friday time for a bourbon.... -

All Draught Team Bills vs the 2025 Bills

I dont think that honestly it would even be close... you can take who you want... Evans, Moulds,Shady,Jackson, Lynch, Williams, Washington. Adams, Gilmour, Clements etc... the QB disparity would be so stark I see the current Bills going 14-3 against the all time Drought era Bills...- 100 replies

I pretty much agree... I honestly see the trends changing as they always do... I think my b+ vs b- was a metaphor for reallocation of available funds which if the trend changes that is a way teams could go... but readily admit I don't have the insight to say where it actually will go.... I think the original premise is plausible, maybe even probable... but I wonder if it doesnt play out another way... I guess we shall see...

Agreed Thurman was actually pretty good at it too... I don't need the back to dominate, I need them to get in the way for 1-2 seconds... the ability to do this enhances the backs ability to not get keyed on all the time in passing situations.... if they are a threat to do both competently... If JC is out their in passing situations... and can block it opens up screens and outlet passes for him otherwise he is just covered. Thurman made a living off of this... well at least a nice 2nd job...

Defo think Shout is the scoring song... I was thinking celebration song for victory formation or clear win... although, the immigrant song to run out too was a great suggestion... or Won't Get Fooled again when we run out against AFC East teams... "Meet the new boss... same as the old boss..." were other great suggestions.

Pitt I think they both make it... I think Lewis may be odd man out

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
JP51 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
My first game was the Oakland Raiders/Bill Pre Season game in 1973... 2nd game at the Stadium... I was 5.... I think I can count on one hand Bills games I have not seen on TV, attended at the stadium or listened to on the radio (as we did alot back in the 70s 80's and some 90s... ) So no... I have never been disinterested ... Frustrated... yes... but if I go back and look at my rants during the 2-12 years... the Ringo, Stevenson, Bullough, Jauron, Phillips, Marrone, Gailey years I was probably more interested based on the amount of time I spent ranting and raving like a small slighted child about them LOL.... -
Yeah, this is a fair viewpoint... I just dont know... there always tends to be paradigm shifts in this league... away from RB, back to RB, Big DL, Fast DL... etc... I think people always look for the advantage to change the narrative... I have kinda felt for a long time now that when you look at QBs making 35mm a year against a starting RB making 3.5mm the conversation is at somepoint gonna switch like is he really 10x more important than me?? (When the answer is no... he is only 10x rarer than you)... anyways... is someone gonna finally start the switch away from paying your top 5 40% of your cap... figuring an more even distribution and attracting B+ players for your other starting 17 is better than averaging b minus players... again, I don't know... but I can see a couple things.. IMO, the wage disparity is increasing and potentially is becoming unproductive... and trends change... does this mean it will... I don't know... but it might... however, if the league keeps making rule changes to favor the QB/WR then it may never... good discussion though...

See, now I think what may happen is it may lower the overall contract amounts given to big stars and may provide more security for the lesser player since you need 53... But I guess you could look at this both ways... and different teams could play it out differently... I don't know... but could GMs be like look... I need to field a solid team on both sides of the ball I need more than 1 or 2 "It" guys... I dont know... I am just speculating.. but it was my first thought when I read it as to the outcome

I am in this place... maybe they do.. can't change that... figure out a way to beat them and move on... I want a Superbowl... not a well I woulda won if the refs didnt cheat and here is proof... not saying this isnt legit... I am just saying figure out a way to beat them both then.... cause I just want one before we all die... and if something takes focus off of that... than remove that something...

I am not sure I am reading that the article say he faces Rice also faces one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and six counts of collision involving injury. That sounds like a criminal trial to me... I think he knows he will be found criminally negligent to some point... I think the attempt to settle was that he loses leverage if he is found guilty and likely has to pay more... I am not an attorney this is just my guess.. maybe someone with more understanding of the process can shed light.

Commanders bringing back their Super Bowl era throwbacks
JP51 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean I am in the do what you want... like are you making a play to go back to the Redskins but going halfway with the W logo... I don't know... if you arent then I am not sure why this soon you bring back the old Redskins thing... either way.. your choice do your thing... -
The only stat they were dominant in was Turnovers... other than that they were really bad... they should all buy JA a car... lol

Ranking NFL WR, TE, RB groups for 2025: Bills 28/32?
JP51 replied to Lionel Hutz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think I am taking it like this... He rates a perennial top 5 offense 28th in WR, TE and RB... this is a reflection to me on just how insanely good JA is and just how good the OL is... take the WR, TE and RB and switch them to the Falcons, Browns, Jets, Saints, Jags, Colts etc... and where does that offense end up... that said... 28th is a bit harsh.... -
vet Offense - Kincaid... down year last year... sophomore slump, injuries, I think year three he learns to be a pro Defense - Tre White - I think he surprises folks and starts this year over Max he may not be shut down but I think he plays his role and improves 2ndry Rookie Defense- Landon Jackson got a feeling about this kid I really hope I am right I am gonna put this out there for flaming... I see a bit of TJ Watt in his eyes... Offense- Zach Davidson (not technically a rook but close enough) I think the departure of Morris opens a path for him and you can't coach 6' 7"
