BREAKING NEWS.....John Clayton is now reporting that CBS is set to premiere a new sitcom starring Jenna Elfman as some sort of workaholic lawyer girl. One wacky premise will feature her date having to call her on her cellphone while they're at dinner just so that she'll talk to him! Wow! UPDATE....now Mortenson is saying this could be the start of a new Jenna-ration! Holy sh--!

The most important thing I've taken away from CBS's coverage of the NFL this year is... JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN JENNA ELFMAN OK, we get it, she's got a new show. Is there anyone left in America who has heard about the show but still isn't sure about watching it and needs a couple more commercials to decide??

Not to mention that they had to score that last touchdown twice and did so with ease each time. Game over. PIT in the SB.

Mularkey accepts Dolphins OC Job.
SilverNRed replied to Thailog80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's for sure. I'd be hard pressed to think of any NFL coach who did more to stop JP from succeeding last year than Mularkey. Can't wait to see the orange and teal try that triple reverse, back-flip, fake field goal, surprise punt on 3rd and 1. Or whatever. -
for those of you that like scarlett johanson

Is that a nipple in the second link?? -
Every goal is supposed to be reviewed, regardless of "communication." Complete BS, as usual.

That show has lots of babes.

Not to mention the money they'd make from the DVD sales. HG is seriously one of the most beautiful girls in the world.

Was that a commercial or did my entire life as a sports fan just flash before my eyes??

Tough day for Jack. Sarah leaves right after he passes up the chance to get it on with this girl.

Wendy's fraud perps sentenced to prison
SilverNRed replied to KD in CA's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Simple. The judge said he didn't believe in "punishment" anymore. Makes perfect sense. -
Truce Request = "We're losing and we need time to regroup so we can kill more infidels" They aren't allowed to lie or "stab you in the back" but stuff like honor killings and mass murder is AOK. Chopping off someone's head and sending the video to al Jazeera? Go for it! Is this a Bin Laden quote or something someone said at the Golden Globes?

That's either the best goal I've ever seen or the second best (to that Michigan player who scooped and placed the puck in the net from behind). Amazing.

Jack's Army!! Loved that episode. I winced when Jack kissed that other broad and wanted to put my foot through the TV when Sarah said she was leaving him (and you know the other guy will be on the island or that Jack will have killed him at some point). Though I seriously hate that they're going through with the Hurley-Cynthia Watros storyline. What the hell? I mean, WHAT THE HELL?

The Assassination of the Character of Jack Murtha
SilverNRed replied to Mickey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Your link cites just one website that decided to attack Murtha's record. How many people even read that website? Any one of us on the other side could counter by linking to the lunatics at Democratic Underground (hopefully not representative of the left) or worse. Attacking Murtha's military record is stupid because: 1. It's classless. 2. It implies that anyone with a distinguished military record can't be wrong on policy (and therefore his or her record must be attacked rather than their opinions). 3. It means wasting the opportunity to debate what Murtha said by focusing on who Murtha is. And by skipping what he said to talk about something else, it makes it seem like you think he has a point and you don't want to deal with that. -
Another Gem From Hillary

Gosh, what makes you say that? Is it because they're bringing up plantations here in the year 2006? Is it because they portray all Republicans as racists with their hearts set on holding them down? Ho hum, nothing to see here. -
I like how he orders the two reasons why things are pretty good.

Yes. If we ever meet, I want her to look just that way. Hopefully she'll have been drinking for about six hours and my chances of going in for the kill will be that much better. "Hey, Cynthia, want a ride home?"

How bad was your yearbook picture????
SilverNRed replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, but you have to take into account that we'd bash BF (who is just one person) for 30-40 pages. The flames in that thread are directed at an entire group of idiots and, really, an entire subculture in New Jersey. So the TBD is still the champ given the flames per idiot ratio. -
Following your link last night and I've been humming/singing the song all day today.

Was that Crazy God Talk with a side of Racism or Racism with a side of Crazy God Talk? Leave it to Mayor Nagin to keep you guessing. I don't see why they thought divine intervention was necessary to destroy NO when it had the most ignorant, incompetent mayor in the country along with the most incompetent governor. Usually a combo like that is enough to guarantee a disaster. -
David Spade's Capital One Commercials
SilverNRed replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IIRC, it was Kelogg's Corn Pops. -
Alright....um.....off the top of my head.....she was President Logan's mistress. His unstable wife was going to go bonkers and straight to the press (ruining his administration) once she found out. The President of Russia and the guys in the oil companies decided that couldn't happen so they decided to have her killed. Only they hired the same bumbling idiots who just screwed up that airport hostage thing and they killed the wrong girl. So Kim has been hiding out at Audrey's house the whole time and no one knows but her. At some point later in the season this will all be explained when Audrey stops home for a quick 30 minute shower and she realizes what is going on when Kim comes in to wash her back.

Let's see if just once the producers/writers can end a subplot in a timely manner and leave the whole Derek and his mom thing alone for the rest of the season. I don't want to find out 16 episodes from now that the nerve gas thing was just a cover to assassinate Derek and his mom who, as it turns out, are in the witness relocation program because they witnessed the President of Russia and the heads of two oil companies murder the President's mistress. Or something. They're going to go back to CTU, tell them where Jack was, and not be in danger for the rest of the season. Please please please.

David Spade's Capital One Commercials
SilverNRed replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was also in a commercial for a supermarket chain down in Texas called HEB. Screw it, though. If they made those Capital One commercials into a sitcom starring Spade and Chubsie, I'd watch it at least once. They could call it "In the 'No'" or something like that. Spade and Chubsie are always telling callers 'No' but inexplicably are drawn into the lives of their callers, with increasingly wacky results. And just like every sitcom these days, Chubsie can have a girlfriend or wife WAY too hot for an overweight guy. Other characters in the "No" office will include a hot but ditsy blonde girl, a hot but jaded brunette girl, and a gay guy who always has smart-alecky 'zingers' to say about Spade and Chubsie. Oh, and a pompous boss character, possibly from another country. In the 'No' Coming Fall 2006 to NBC Must-See TV
