Yeah, except we aren't burning our city down. I'm not opposed to bringing in a college coach. If our options are some loser castoffs from other teams, then get someone from the college ranks. And I would like a fresh start at HC because MM just plain has too many wacky ideas.

Who in this organization has ever won anything??? All the veteran players whining because they don't want to be on the field while JP is learning the NFL game are pathetic. They couldn't win anything last year with a veteran QB and now they don't want to try someone new? Pathetic. They should all STFU because the team sucked before JP ever got here. I'd rather watch JP's ups and downs than see another feel-good five yard pass from Holcomb to Moulds on 3rd and 15. And, as has been pointed out several times today, starting Holcomb just resulted in another disastrous loss to a team that is much worse than us.

Good thing TEN imploded this year. Their 3rd (from the TH trade) is a pretty helpful pick right about now.

That's a good place to pick. You can land an impact player but you aren't stuck with a crappy Mike Williams contract. And hopefully someone who isn't TD is making the pick.

The business angle = we have some of the most embarassing uniforms in the NFL. And selling football tickets in Buffalo isn't an accomplishment. It's about as hard as getting fat people to eat.

Another complete disaster. Mularky tries to save his job by starting the wrong QB for a meaningless game and still blows it. That should pretty much seal the deal on pushing him out of town.

Third straight game the Sabres have given a mediocre effort. They didn't even show up in Toronto until the second half of the 2nd period and came out flat against the Thrashers as well. They spent the entire first period tonight trying to remember how to pass to each other. Sabres have been pretty lame the last 3 games. Hopefully they aren't reading their own press clippings and now think they're better than they are. It'd be nice if they played well in the first period for a change of pace. The Sabres are a good team but not good enough that they can win without working hard.

Worst. Idea. Ever. Vince Young is several developmental years away from being a good starting QB. Whoever does draft him is going to have to spend a long time working with him because he's going to learn pretty quickly that all the things he gets away with in college aren't going to work against NFL defenses. Not to mention that he's currently dumb enough to give USC bulletin board material on a daily basis.

Cedric Benson, Ricky Williams, and (soon) Vince Young don't help either.

The team is awesome! Vanek is going to be a star. Drury is the leader we all hoped he'd be. The goaltending is great. They never give up even when they're trailing late in the game! The Sabres are - .......oh, wait, you were talking about the Bills. Yeah, there's nothing to look forward to. My bad.

The Shield is definitely one of my favorite shows ever. I heard a rumor that Season 5 is over 20 episodes long (and may, unfortunately, be the last).

Ugh, it's true. I can't stand when people complain that we could've drafted Freeney, because everyone would have gone nuts if Donahoe had drafted Freeney 4th overall. With top five picks, you're pretty much locked in to drafting a 'consensus' top five draft pick like Mike Williams. I don't want a top 5 pick this April. They lock you into huge contracts with players who are young and completely unproven.

...which is about 9/11. Cue the black helicopters. As for JP, he's not good enough where the team is obligated to play him if he's hurting. Teams can do that for Favre or Brady but not Losman. I don't think it's a conspiracy - I think it's the team trying not to give him things he doesn't deserve.
