  1. No big deal against the Jets. I trust whoever's making the call here. The secondary minus Tre could handle Aaron Rodgers; there's a decent chance they can stop a BackStreet Boy throwing a football.
  2. Sorry, but your dream interpretation skills are lacking. Catching four bass... bass.... bass... Bass... means four fields goals! But, yes, 4 TDs may happen though I would not be shocked to see at least one run in.
  3. WIth Wilson being Wilson and tackle injuries, I gotta go with number 40.
  4. Brandon's like that sexy woman who looks great in a black dress but also t-shirt, jeans and Chucks — absolutely comfortable, in command and swoon-worthy in any situation That's my GM.
  5. 30 - 9. Bills will be able score more but will want to integrate the run game and will take foot off the gas in the 4th and just kill clock.
  6. 28 yards on 5 carries. At least one punt return for 18 yards or more.
  7. Nyheim's attitude is optimal: buy into the coach and the concepts and super stoked to be part of a high-powered offense. "My goal is to help this team win a championship, even if that's not touching the ball at all." What an attitude. Well spoken and eager and talented. Really glad he's a BIll. I'm betting he far outperforms the expectations based on trade value. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/nyheim-hines-a-perfect-fit
  8. In a passing league, you obviously want to allocate a good chunk of the limited capital to the D line but how much more major money should go to the LB corps? First, let's split the difference and say Edmunds is good (not bad or even mediocre) but good to very good. How much is a good to very good MLB worth in a passing league when you have to pay a franchise QB? What's the cap not just on Tremaine, but the positional value? I'm just ballparking, but when you have to pay Josh, the men who keep him upright and catch his passes, I think MLB might have a cap of maybe, what $12-$14 million tops? What do others think? Question 2 is: will Tremaine settle for what you think the cap on the position of MLB is worth? We've seen many a Bill leave for greener ($) pastures.
  9. Honestly, about 12 more years. Can we win a couple championships in that span? I think so.
  10. Tolbert at least the excuse of being 243 pounds. Moss is just 205 pounds. There's some misconception (maybe because of his "business decisions" quote that was like a great tagline for a bad movie) that Moss is some bruiser or the "thunder" to someone's lightning. He isn't. He's 205 pounds, yes, 205 pounds and slow and that's about it. If you're 205 pounds as a back, you better have wheels. Or a bus ticket.
  11. "There's a difference between competing for a division and competing for a championship." Man, I feel great having Brandon make decisions for this team and the Pegulas supporting it in every possible way.
  12. Further into the video... hearing Von talk about how as a small boy he heard his father make a high-pitched sound watching a football game — and how he, Von, then wanted to make people feel that joy. Amazing. And how he loves to beat other grown men into submission... This man is the best amalgam of zen and competitive fire I've ever seen. Josh is cool and a great dude, but Von is the embodiment of the greatest football spirit I've ever seen.
  13. Awesome that his goal is to bring a SuperBowl to Buffalo, not chase stats or merely get to the Super Bowl but to win it. Also awesome that he wants to play at an elite level for 19 or 20 years. Maybe he'll play at a high level beyond the first couple years of this contract. I totally didn't think that before but now I think if any defensive end can play at a very high level in his mid 30s, it's Von. What a guy. This team is blessed to have him and I bet Rousseau is 100% on board with that.
  14. Saffold got a lot of grief from folks around here... I can't verify your conclusions but have no reason to doubt that you're reasonably correct in many of them. Would love to see him keep improving. Just maybe... he's getting healthier after the car accident and he will be a consistently good player on the line.
  15. How cool is this that Buffalo is now a destination that makes players happy to be here. Just a feeling, but I dig this guy and his attitude and think he will bring a lot of explosive plays opposing defenses won't be able to account for. A
  16. Well, considering we have he second-highest points per game in the league, we must get all those points with the help of a high-scoring run game. Wait, no? Well, then Josh Allen's rushing TDs have to be the reason. He has... oh, 2 rushing TDs so far. Don't sweat it. Yes, Diggs is elite and no other pass catcher on this team consistently is (Davis is, at times) but we are doing great and I'm confident that if Diggs goes out for a couple games that Davis, Shakir, Knox and a couple very good pass-catching backs can still help us pile up the points. Remember, when the lights were shining the brightest and the pressure was the highest, Davis set a playoff record. He's been inconsistent but he'll be fine. And not many teams can lose their number one WR and still be firing at the same pace. We'll are fine and will be ok. Would I love getting OBJ, sure? Will we still be the best team without him? Yes.
  17. This is better than merely "good news" as some have said. It's almost day-drinking news.
  18. The Packer's game plan was to concede defeat, be very happy that Josh threw 2 uncharacteristic picks, and to run the ball late in the game to make a humiliating loss less humiliating. Running from the get-go, even in a 0-0 game is not a game plan against the Bills. Unless you have an all-world offense, you have to hope and pray for some bad turnovers from the Bills and a pile of luck just to keep the Bills from crushing you.
  19. My expectation is that the players play a smart and focused game with full effort and intelligence. If they do that and still lose, I'll be sad but I'm ok with that. I don't think the team met that expectation, especially the offense and Josh, the second half. But it won't keep me up at night. We got the win. My expectation is that the coaching staff and players, especially Josh, learn from the mistakes and I believe they will.
  20. I wouldn't call his performance "amazing" by any stretch but he makes enough clutch plays, even on an off night, to help beat most teams. But that level of play won't beat Kansas City.
