  1. Have to wait and see after all this draft, but i say no this morning. The Chiefs called for a trade in this draft? He should say: sorry, you have the wrong number, no matter what. We dont even steal a pick from them. If Beane traded up with a rival in the AFC to pick, let say, a Thomas JR, without even losing a single pick in our draft, we would all say he is a genius and we would all make fun of the other team. I have no doupt about it. At the end, it's his team and he is well paid to built it again around Allen. He does what he wants and i respect that. For all fans and his job, Mahomes-Worthy better dont beat us..but let say Beane has the balls to do what he wants.
  2. I guess you're right. I just begin to understand we'll not go for it with our franchise QB and i'm afraid it's will be the end of his prime at the end of this new process. But, i undestand the point and i can deal with the fact that we try to be competitive. I could say we try to be competitive --only--, but it's not nothing after those 17 years.
  3. Sounds good, but those players were part of the process in the Trust the process. So, the same Staff who bring them in this process will bring some others players and tell us to trust the new process again? I will be there and i will root, but sincerely, i dont know what's this process now. I guess it's a kind of -we'll try to be competitive and who knows if we could be lucky? - and nothing more than that.
  4. Maybe the last one, they also had a chance. They lead the game at the halftime. They were in control. Then, the momemtum totally shifted and it was clear the first 3 lost were in their head.
  5. If it is, we dont know and i'm not sure if we will ever know. Then, with all the money involded there, i would be really naive to say i'm sure it is not rigged. When we can do this kind of math: mans + a lot of money+ bet and Vegas...nothing can really surprise me. At the end, we dont know and there's nothing we can do. The day i would not have fun by watching the NFL, i will simply stop. To say the truth, all those sideshow like this love story between this singer and the player, begins to bother me the most. I so dont watch a football game for those sideshows. But rigged or not? We just cant know.
  6. I respect and we will never know, but that year, our offense was just unstoppable. But, you made a point. I just think our Bills in the playoffs that year was at their peak.
  7. Not like the 13 seconds for me. That game, the drive Allen and the offense made to score at 13 seconds should be part of history. We should give that drive a name like -The Drive- of Elway, or something like that. Beating that Chiefs team in their stadium like that was just awsome. Losing a game when you take the lead with 13 seconds left is almost once in a lifetiime. It happen to us. When we lost this year, it was like: i knew. I root, i hope during the game, but i had the worst feeling after the game: i knew, i was not surprise. To say the truth, i am still impress by Allen and the offense. They were on the field for almost 40 minuts against that defense! We blew it, in a situationnel football moment again. After the two minuts warning, it wasnt the same offense suddenly. Then, two teams (bengles-chiefs) scored at will in our stadium in the playoff. Thanks for the breaks we had and our offense always on the fieild for that game. It could be worst than that. At the end, the best team win. Those Chiefs are hard to play because they never lose a game by themself. Most of the team, like the Bills, have their moment where they seems lost in a situationnel football moment. Not the Chiefs, not that often. I guess it is all about their Elite coaching staff. We're not that far. It could happen with Mcbeanne with some lucks, some breaks. Beane never hide what he wants: being competitive each year and, after that, we never know. I would like to see him say: i'm gonna do whatever i can to give Allen and this team all they need for a SB. I know it will not happen, but i know we'll be competitve.
  8. You gonna pay way too much. It was his value the year of his pro bowl.
  9. Agree with you. For me, the NFL walk now on a fine line. I just talk about me and i dont want to convince anybody. Since some years, i didnt listen at all the pre-game show and all the NFL show. I didnt give a *** when they do politics. I dont watch commercial, more and more politic also. I'm only a football fan and i found a lot of good football events on the net, like Cover1, and i really think it is better because they only talk about football there and, even if i should not say that i have to say if i watch the NFL, it is only for the game. I love football. I can deal with the show because when we heard the whitle, it is football. But, this year, NFL entertainment made a step on the other side of the line. I just cant skip that because it is now during the game. It is the first time this year i see it at this point during a game. The SB show will have a big part about a love story and i dont care at all about it. Then, i have to be interested with the matchup. I watched Chiefs-Ravens because i really want to see if that Chiefs defense could stop Jackson. I was pretty sure about it, but i was interested and i watched the game...but i'm not for this Chiefs-49ers. Not enough to deal with the -show-.
  10. Something's wrong with our team when it counts the most and, when i watched a game, i always say -at least, we have Allen in our team-. We are still where we are a couple of years ago: All on Allen Shoulders. It is at a point where we begin to not really see it, We begin to take it for grant. We almost forgot we could not even be near where we are without him. It will never be enough because if he's not perfect, we lose. Credits to the Chiefs defense, but they were tired and and a well coach team scored there, i'm pretty sure. Bills fan base are the more loyal fans in pro sport. It's like we want to win, but we want to win by being loyal. That's why a lot of fans around NFL planet would say we deserve it the most. It is time to cut ties with our coaching staff. I'm sure about that. Then, if i'm a Bills fan and i dont even live near Buffalo, it's because of your passion, your loyalty. Winning by being loyal at this point is much harder then winning by seing it like a business. Much harder road. It's pretty clear. Then, the Bills are not only a business in Buffalo. It's part of your town and you're loyals. I will be there, i will back Mcdermott for sure no matter what i think. If the Bills could find a way to win one one day, it would be the best SB ever with that kind of fan base.
  11. That year, if we meet the Giants 10 times, we would beat them 7 or 8 times. We lost. The year after, the Redskins just totally destroyed us in the trenches. They could beat us 7 or 8 times on 10. We still lost. We lead the Cowboys at the halftime on the last SB. At this point, we could win that kind of game with a lead at the halftime 7 or 8 times on 10. We still lost. Recently, we just beat the Chiefs. When you scored a TD with 13 seconds left, you win that game 99 tiimes on 100. We still lost. I hope, one day, the Gods of football will stop playing with us!
  12. I dont know if it hurts a lot more, but it's not a good feeling to see a team in the water of underachivement at this point. So, we have to be honest: since the beginning, Mcbeane always talk about -being competitive-. Always. This year in their press conference, it was all about -being competitve-. Nothing less than that, but nothing more. Then, i feel like they achieve their goal. We should be competitive again. With that kind of team, with that QB, i dont think it should be the goal. To say the truth, if you're not competitive with that kind of QB, you're not good at all in your job. It's not good enough. Underachievement is always a bad feeling. It seems their goal is still only? being competitive again. Nothing less, but nothing more, like i said.
  13. I understand, and maybe i'm an alien, but i dont give a *** to the NFL narrative those days. It's now a kind of realty show. Most of the fan on a board like here are far better than a lot of so call experts and their narrative. It's click bait now clearly and it's nothing to do about the game. When someone wants to tell me how i have to think, they totallly lose me. When someone wants to tell me what i see it's now what i see, they lose me. I guess it is what it is now, but i really dont understand they hype with that narrative. It has to work because it keep going. I'm old i guess! For me, and i dont want to talk for others, total respect for what everyone like, i feel like the NFL walk now on a fine line. Sometime it's really just idiot like watching a movie...or a realty show like i said. But, i understand it's now a big show, NFL entertaintment. I can deal with it because when the game start, it is football. Then, i will watch the game. Chiefs defense should know how to stop Jackson and i want to see if they will. NFL show could say whatever they want after the game. They dont talk to me at all.
  14. I agree with you on that one. I think some fans begin to take what Allen brings on the field almost for grant. We need him to be so perfect to win those game...and we seems to absolutely forget what he did. If someone told me a QB can do that on the field, let say 10 years ago, i'm not sure i could believe him. Just last sunday, he was on the field for 37 minuts. Against the Super Bowl champs in playoff, the offense he lead found a way to be our best defense by being on the field for 37 minuts against a real good defense. And we talk about his mistakes... Like every Elite players, he will make mistakes. Asking him to be perfect because we lose if he isnt... say something. And, let say the truth, even if he is near perfect, we find a way to lose, like that 13 seconds. I just take a little step back...and what he brings on the field is absolutly incredible. It's at another level. Asking for more than that from our QB (even if he could be always better)...asking for the impossible...just tell us the problem is elsewhere. Being loyal like you said is fair enough but we cant act like we dont know.
  15. It's sad. We love that game, but it is just a game. This kid had a bad season but he is young. Pretty sure he will work hard this summer and be ready for next year. Those donations is the best part of the game, even better than any win. It's really just a game even if we love it.
  16. Exactly. In that situation, Allen should never throw in the end zone. Even if they scored, if the Chiefs scored on their drive, we would talk about this choice. But, it is a football situation and fair enough. My problem: if Allen threw it in the end zone, it's because someone told him he can. Even an Elite QB needs an Elite HC and this situation is the perfect example. Our HC let it in the hands of our Elite QB. He didnt coach him. Go get 9 yards, boys. Choose any play you want, but you have 3 plays for 9 yards. Go get the first down. Another situation when it counts the most where we seems totally lost on the field. Nothing was clear and we had to try a FG with 1m44 left. It's sad at this point.
  17. Just last sunday, Mahomes missed two open receivers in the end zone and when he had the game in his hands in the 4th, he missed his receiver and they had to punt. He has nothing to do with the end of the game. He gave us the ball. Against a decimate defense. It's fair enough, he can and will make mistakes, but it is the kind of mistake Allen cant make under this regime in those kind of game. Both are Elite QB and it seems we always talk about an Allen mistakes because he has to be perfect under our regime. If not, we lose. We dont even talk about Mahomes mistakes. It say something. They are a team and ready at another level. For me, it's pretty clear: Give them Allen and we have Mahomes and the Chiefs still win. Maybe Mahomes is better than Allen. I take Allen first, but i understand we can talk about it. If so, he's slighty better than Allen. Both are Elites. When we watch carefully on the sideline of both teams, we see two man. They wear a hat. I really think that's where is unfair. One is Elite and know how to coach an Elite QB. The best we can do is hoping our HC could learn that, but during that time, we found a way to lose in those situations when it counts the most year after year.
  18. Just last sunday...Mahomes missed two open receivers in the end zone...He also had the game in his hand in the 4th quarter against a decimate defense and he missed his receiver. They had to punt. After the game, he is a God. Allen and Mahomes are Elite QB. Allen has to be perfect to give us a chance to win that kind of game against the best. We always talk about his mistakes because he has to be perfect! Mahomes not. And even if he is almost perferct, like scoring the winning TD with only 13 seconds left, we lose and...Mahomes is a God. We need an Elite HC with our Elite QB if we want to win the last game of the year. I dont know how it could not be clear. Then, if we only want to be competitive, we will with an Elite QB, no matter the level of our coaching staff.
  19. Kind of agree. Allen gave us the lead with 13 seconds left. Then, at then end of the game, Mahomes is a god and Allen a loser. Just last sunday, Mahomes missed two open receivers in the end zone and he had the game in his hand in the 4th quarter against a decimate defense. They had to punt. At the end of the game, he is a god and Allen a loser. Those QB are Elite. But, Allen has to be perfect. We'll talk about his mistakes because he has to be perfect if we want to win. Mahomes not. That's the story of those games in playoff. That's why an Elite HC is what a team needs with an Elite QB against the best.
  20. Money talk and they will not change their mind. We're not far to have 18 games in a season. They will find a way to have more playoffs game. I know it doesnt make sens...but we talk about a lot of money. I mean, a lot!
  21. If Allen threw in the endzone, it's because we told him he can. If it's clear for a HC in that kind of situation, it will be clear for your Elite QB and all players. It wasnt clear at all, it's the least i can say. I understand Mcdermott. We talk about a good HC and an Elite QB. It was like: I dont know what to do, i hope my Elite QB will. It was the samething with our defense in this 13 seconds. Nothing was clear. It's a pattern now. An Elite QB dosent need an Elite HC in season. Just a good one and we will have a good chance to be in the playoff at the end of the season. Against the best when it counts the most, he will. It will be the difference between a W or a L. It's a pattern like i said. It's pretty clear if we just take a little step back. I will wear my red roses glasses again next year and hoping i am wrong. It's the best i can do as a fan.
  22. I understand, but a KC fan could write something like that: The-three-play-that-almost-cost-us-the-game -Mahomes missed and open receiver in the endzone two times -Hartman fumble at the one yard -Mcduffie missed a pick 6 (or we should recover Allen's fumble). At the end, both team made some mistakes. I dont talk about the refs that much and it's a good sigh. Our gameplan was really good and it worked really well. Our defense let KC scored at will...but our offense managed to be on the field and eat clock. We were at the line of 30 in their zone with the ball at the 2 minuts warning. We were exactly where we could dream we could be at this point of the game. It was a 2 and 9. They blew it. It's coaching. If it is clear for the HC in those kind of situation, it will be clear for the players. It wasnt. They seems to be lost after the 2 minuts warning break. We cant change the past, but it should be clear for the players: it's a 2 and 9 and you have 3 plays to win that first down. Go for it. Go win that 9 yards. Like i said, it wasnt clear at all and we blew it.
  23. Some Teams have an Elite HC with a game manager at QB...some others like the Bills have an Elite QB and and a good HC at best. With an Elite HC, Allen has a SB ring. I'm pretty sure about that. It is what it is. I like Mcdermott. I like the man. He works hard, he wants to win. He did the best he can do with what he is as a HC. By example, i also really liked Tyrod Taylor. He took care of the ball and did the best he can do with what he was as a QB. It's all about the owner. It's all about what he really wants. Today, we hide the 5-6 record in playoffs by our number of wins in season. In the real world, in playoff, we won against... -An old Rivers and the Colts -the Phins with a no-name at QB, -the Pats and MacJones (the best game on offense i see in a long time), -the Steelers and Rudolph -Jackson and the Ravens (a real good game for Mcdermott). That's all. It is the best we can do with our Elite QB. It's not good enough. Absolutely not. Sometimes, i feel like we are afraid to be better. We're afraid to take any risk. It has to be that 17 years. We want to win but we dont think as a winner. It's like we're good and it's enough. I can deal with it. It's fun to watch. But, we have to say it like it is. Mcdermott will clearly be there next year. I will root for him. I'm just a fan and i will hope i am wrong again next year. I still wish we can win with this HC. If it's fair, for him and all the Bills fans, we will. Then i dont think we'll win only because it should be fair. It's not a story.
  24. Exactly. We dont know if the Bills would win against the Ravens, but their chances would be better...if they play that game, it's the least i can say.
  25. Mcdermott is a solid HC and maybe he could win it one day. He's clearly not at this level. I feel like when he will be ready, Allen will be old. When it counts the most, year after year, it's like the Bills has no HC. At the 2 minuts warning, we were exactly where we need to be: we have th ball in Chiefs zone. You need to have a solid HC to be there. Then, they discussed at the 2 minuts warning break and suddenly, nothing was clear. They try to eat the clock or score fast? I dont know. It wast clear at all. In this 13 seconds game, it was the samething. You need to be a solid HC to take the lead at KC in playoff with 13 seconds left. Then, the defense was totally lost on the field when it counts the most. When it count the most and it's clear for a HC, it will be damn clear for the players. When it's not, the players are lost. Injury or not, no matter what, it happen year after year, when it count the most, we blow it. At this point, it cannot just be badluck. Clearly not. 5-6 in playoffs say something.
