I agree. The pats have tons of money to spend and we really don't. That's also going to help the Pats "close the gap". Maybe that gap is already closed. Maybe next year they will clearly be better with another offseason of drafting and acquisitions. It's going to be a rivalry for sure. The pressure is on.

Why wait until the deadline? This would limit the time you have to talk and negotiate. Maybe they did beforehand. Something about this whole things just doesn't seem sincere to me. If he wanted to trade then why not give this years first? Does he already have a plan for that pick? Does he know his pick will be more meaningful to the team than having Waddle? It's seems like a PR stunt to make it seem like they were in on something that they were basically just giving a casual call to inquire and nothing more. I'm super interested in the draft and seeing if he trades down or uses that 1st on a WR. Would not be shocked if he doesn't though.

This right here. I can see us losing both these games coming up. Unless we all a sudden we get healthy or our WRs become more talented or the scheme allows Allen to play a little more freely and then the defense shows up then we are done. Like for the season done. I'm starting to accept that this is a down year. I just hope it doesn't continue i to next year.

Be it the scheme, lack of quality WRs or Allen or a combo. Probably a combo. Allen is not looking like his typical self. I'd imagine there are statistically a handful of QBs playing better right now and that's ok to say. In this ends up being a down year, so be it. All the greats have them.

Everyone wants to point out that Allen looks sad or whatever. Yeah he looks sad. Anyone would look that was if they were disappointed. This team believes in their scheme more than the players in the scheme. Sounds harsh I know. McD was asked if he thought this was still a championship roster and all he said was "I love these guys". It's a YES or NO question. Look I love my kids but I don't count on them to pay my mortgage. Thats my job. Just like it McD job to plan and get these guys prepared and to draft and sign the best players. But it's just the scheme and the process they care about.

This idea is probably correct and silly at the same time. It would seem that Buffalo would be prepared to get their competition's best effort. So play with that in mind. Don't play these teams like you deserve the win without a game plan.

That's the difference between the pats this year and the Bills. They are focused and are beating the teams that they should beat (and maybe a couple that they weren't favored). The Bills aren't. I'm sorry but we played down and way down to competition yesterday. THATS the crap the Bills do. We didn't rush against the NFL worst rushing defense and we couldn't throw against a bunch of Practice squad dudes. Yeah we're not winning the division. At this rate we may or even see the playoffs.

That's the part that really bums me out. We could get talent, but the one we trust to put it together would probably still be having Josh throw it behind the LOS.
