  1. I have a feeling the Bills saw the Chiefs without Tyreek and said "we can do that too". They'll lean more on the run game and short game passing. Diggs wasn't as important with Brady although it'd be stupid to totally downplay him. You still need to draft a WR early but you needed to do that even with Diggs. That's as good as compensation as you'll get unfortunately.
  2. Guess it's WR in the 1st after a trade up
  3. "Ready for watever" Except for a perfect deep ball from Allen with the season on the line
  4. I could still see Morse coming back. I'm not sure there's going to be a huge market for a center at his age and concussion history. Could see this as a favor to him to try to get another solid contract but could come back here at a lower price
  5. Edwards is solid and really thrived in that 6th oline/3rd te role. Good to get those kind of roles filled so we can concentrate on the big dogs we need
  6. Had a dream last night that Harrison fell to the 11th pick and the Bills traded up to 11 but drafted a defensive end instead. One of the worst nightmares I've had.
  7. I think politicians are finally going to act after this. I bet you'll see a law in the next few months that bans Super Bowl parades.
  8. I was more upset after 13 seconds but 2 weeks later this one seems to be sticking with me a little more than 13 seconds did
  9. He seemed to unlock Shakir. He also seemed to find a good balance for Josh. Need to see a little more aggression and less throws right at the LOS. But I support the hire. He and Josh basically need to live together this offseason.
  10. Now give Tua 5 years 250M
  11. As long as it screws the chiefs somehow I'm good with it
  12. Allen/Reid would be better than Mahomes/McDermott all else being equal.
  13. Special teams change and I could see an external defensive coordinator with McD still calling plays.
  14. No Burrow. Weaker KC. Finished the season reasonably strong. Mahomes comes to Buffalo. Purdy or Goff waiting on the other side. I know this team wasn't dominant bur yeah I kind of thought it'd happen
  15. Other than Poyer's forced fumble, the defense essentially made ZERO plays last night. If it weren't for the offense's time of possession, we could have given up 50 last night.
  16. Homefield advantage is nice but did the Chiefs have a single false start, delay of game, or even miscommunication on offense? I can't stand Mahomes and Reid but they were ready. I know there's more to it than that but the Chiefs didn't seem phased.
  17. I'm trying to decide what kind of deal/situation I'd even take him back on. WR in round 1 plus a 2 year $10M deal. I could probably handle that. WR's are Diggs, Shakir, Rookie. Then Davis as the #4 deep threat/blocking WR. Steep price for that player and he'll get more than that but that's about all I could handle for him to be back.
  18. I would say 7 new starters out of the 22 next year. 1-2 on offense and 5 on defense. Only guys on defense who definitely have a role IMO are Oliver, Milano, Bernard, Douglas, Benford, Johnson. It's possible some guys will be back and starting like Floyd or Jones but it's going to be tough to do that and upgrade WR and bring in the necessary depth.
  19. Josh has to play a perfect game for the team to have a chance in the playoffs. Even then it may not be enough. He's going to have to find a way to be even better.
  20. Nothing will bring me happiness but I do appreciate the thread
  21. I know it would have still required a miracle offensively but disappointing our defense couldn't force a 3 and out on the very last series when you knew the Chiefs would run the ball 3 times. Really didn't even put up a fight
  22. Like I've said in other threads. These were the last 3 plays once we got it down to the 28 yard line 1st down - Cook 1 yard run *2 minute warning* 2nd down - incomplete to Shakir 3rd down - incomplete to nobody really Not running the ball with Allen on any of those 3 plays was a mistake. You could have made for a shorter field goal while also taking time off the clock or forcing KC to use timeouts. You could have picked up a first down and drained the clock further. You could have made it a manageable 4th down. Whether it's Brady not calling a designed run or Allen just not taking off, I just don't understand not letting your best player make a play using his legs which the Chiefs hadn't stopped all game.
  23. I liked Brady's playcalling for the most part. Give him a full off-season and I think you'll see a better playbook. But still not sure the offense has the horses other than Josh no matter who the coordinator is.
  24. It sucks that Allen has to play a perfect game just to win a divisional game at home and even that may not be enough.
