  1. One move, you guys. We just need him to have that one Beasley move, just a few yards up the field...make just a little window for Josh. Go Bills!
  2. CTW, you leaving out the fact that they will use him on jump balls in the corner of the end zone is equivalent to an April 16th, 1912 news story with the headline "White Star cancels all Titanic cruises for the remainder of the year."
  3. H2o, those around here who mistakenly think that some of us believe Beasley will come in here and go 10 receptions for 115 yards and 2 TDs, don't know who Beasley is, don't know who he was for his time with the Bills, and don't know why we are excited to have him back. ...Now...Dorsey just has to use him the way we are hoping / what Beas is good at doing. EDIT: @H2o It is not unusual to have the same people also be the ones who were telling you that this short yardarge slot receiver was washed up after having 82 receptions last season (and the previous). A receiving total, that besides for anyone named Diggs, hasn't been exceeded by a single Buffalo Bill since Eric Mould's 88 receptions 18 years ago in 2004, if memory serves.
  4. Don't leave out that he is also Buffalo's Beasley.
  5. No, Cincy, YOU HEARD WRONG. Beas will mostly option from the slot into the FB position.
  6. Ugh...just heard a leak that indicated Dorsey's game plan for Miami has Beasley doing mostly streaks and deep outs.* (* No, but would you be surprised? 🤣)
  7. YOU, Sir…hate you some Dolphins! 🤣
  8. Hughes to GM: “I am coming to the end. Please let me go so I can catch on with a playoff team.” Hughes Agent as he goes to waivers: “If you’re not Buffalo and you try to pick him up, he’ll retire for the rest of the season.” I know I’m grasping, but I’m trying.
  9. As was once said, I’ll root for the Dolphins when they play Al Qeada.
  10. No. On a completely unrelated note, though, I am super-totes-cool if Josh Allen doesn't juke defenders anymore and now just simply runs through them every time.
  11. I don't think he is winning it, as many of you have already alluded. However, to at least crawl back into the picture he would need a classic late season Josh run...he needs 10 more passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs to get him into that mid 40 range. If after the playoffs (including a SB victory) it would be great for them to at least be able to say he has had 3 straight 50 TD seasons.
  12. Weird, eball. It almost sounds like a rush of color.
  13. boyst, I would love a 1 day or 3 day contract, a five yard reception "given" to him in the final game in exchange for the Bills doing a five yard false start penalty on the next play. Yeah, I would be so fine with that. One of the most underrated Bills of all time.
  14. Greg...I hope we beat them, but man...I mean we really need someone to come out of the blue and upend the Bengals. Can you imagine the Bills, 13-4 tied for the most wins in regulars seasons history (albeit 17 games), winning a wild card game, then going to Cincy where in this scenario the Bills have already lost to them a few weeks previous, having to upset the Bengals just so they can go back to KC for the 4th straight time? Ugh...please, Bills. Please run the table.
  15. New Era well said, and no, I didn't say it was impossible. However, it is not helping and it was to have been a hopeful strength this year. I am also not saying the teams with the best two WRs are going to win a SB, either, but take a look at the top 4 receivers in the NFL (Hill, Jefferson, Diggs and Ekeler), and then the #2 receivers on their respective teams. Hill (100), Waddle (59) Jefferson (99), Thielen (63) Diggs (94), Davis (38) or McKenzie (38) Ekeler (93), Palmer (61) That's Tua, Cousins and Herbert. We have Josh Allen, New Era. EDIT: Jeepers, of the top 10 receivers in the league only Detroit's Amon-Ra St. Brown has a lower #2 WR than the Bills (Raymond, 34 receptions).
  16. Chris states it early on and this is the big point...Ignore Beasley, forget about iMcK, don't nash your teeth over the Crowder injury, and even I can't keep going back to "why Ford over DK?" because that is pure history. A number of us took heat for stating Gabe is not a 1B and our hope is that he is at least a 2. Yes, he's battled through injuries and yes he has had flashes, and YES HE ADDS TO THIS TEAM. However, the guy opposite Diggs has to be somewhere at least in the same sphere as Diggs. If your number 1 guy catches more than 100 balls each year for three years your number 2 needs to be Robert Woods, or at least 2018-2020 Robert Woods...86 receptions, 90 receptions, 90 receptions and a 1,000 yard average. Heck even Peerless Price's 94 receptions to Eric Moulds' 100 catches from 2002 is the duo you need. 38 receptions in 12 games, catching little more than 50% of your targets (38 of 71) isn't the juggernaut #2 we hoped for. I hope he changes the narrative on everything from here on out, but right now he is on pace for 50 or so receptions. So s*** on this post all you want, but it is not going to make it any less true. Go Bills!
  17. You have...5 posts. My goodness if even less than half of them in the future are like this you are a benefit to this Board. Well said, Sir.
  18. HUDS, I laughed outloud. Thank you, brother.
  19. Given Dagger's earlier point it makes sense...Josh Allen, "Yeah, don't worry about the playbook, just get open five yards up field. Thank you." 😆
  20. I switched my emoji to a trophy for you on that one, Dagger. Brother, I didn't even think about that. Outstanding point.
  21. Muppy...can you imagine if the Bills win a Super Bowl with Jon Brown and Cole Beasley on the sideline?! Man, if that be the case I would love us to find a way to pick up Jerry Hughes through late season waivers and Kyle Williams unretire and rotate in, maybe even a short yardage TD to boot!!!!!
  22. May Day, everything else aside I said around here, "if you want to get rid of Beasley because you think he is washed up, then fine, but you got to replace him and that is not going to be easy." Many said it would be...it wasn't. Sure, the Crowder injury didn't help, but those hands, brother...those 164 receptions the last two years, regardless of yards and TDs, are what this team needs so badly right now.
  23. Plus, B4, I think it helps get Josh in a rhythm and comfort zone. It helps, too, with an Oline that has been questionable lately for various reasons, including injuries.
  24. Seriously, would anyone here be mad with a Beasley stat line of: 6 targets, 5 receptions, 40 yards, 0 TDs, 4 first downs, repeatedly? Sure I want more, but man does this team need THIS right now.
  25. We don't need a fast Beas...but boy oh boy do we need good old "hands" Beasley. We need someone to make grabs on 3 and 6 for 8 yard first downs and we need someone who will give us at least five yards on 1st down throws, too. Move. The. Chains.
