  1. I am not being coy and I am not being sarcastic and I mean this when I say that it is semi-remarkable that this team is 11-3, with as difficult as their schedule has been and all the injury adversity, when you then pile on some of the bone headed mistakes...and not just from players, but from coaches and...honestly...honestly, the front office as well. I've said it elsewhere on our Board...toss out "you have to be able to play special teams" along with "if you don't practice you can't play" and "you can lose your spot due to injury" as we sit and watch the Giants make...not ample use of Hodgins, but great use of him. 19 receptions in the last five games, and please spare us the Dabol is guru stuff. This is just smart play calling and getting the best out of a talented player when you don't focus on the fact that he isn't the best blocker on runs or cover guy on kicks.
  2. They won’t overlook them, arcane, I agree. but man, it seems like that we aren’t catching the bears or the weather at the right time. we will win, but for the first time for most of the year it looks like the Bears will be a tough out. My soul sure could handle and easy Bills victory for the first time in awhile.
  3. Was it “All QBs when they turn the corner to unbridled money and success that turn into career goals and ambitions love being stifled by the elements and then still compared to other QBs that play in almost constant ideal conditions.”?
  4. Allen must be super pumped at the opportunity to play in another inclement weather game this weekend, as any QB would.
  5. God works in mysterious ways. …but every once in awhile he just comes straight up to you and says, “Here’s a simply terrible and embarrassing Patriots loss. Enjoy.”
  6. No one thought to have a sign last night that said, “Wilkins, if you are going to go there, at least tug.”
  7. My goodness, if things hold right now for the playoffs we are playing either the Titans or Ravens in Orchard Park for the the division round. Oh yes please. HFA has its privileges.
  8. When it’s too cold for them it’s probably pretty darn cold for us!
  9. We have a 45 million dollar qb. A line that is better than above average when 100% healthy and a true 1A receiver with wheels should probably be pretty high on the list for success. in another thread I half seriously had the draft going… 1. WR 2. OL 3. WR 4. OL 5. WR 5. RB i am completely willing to change that up as necessary between these two primary positions, but we are going to need more help in free agency.
  10. ok, I get it. Because they deserve it. Gotcha. 🤣
  11. I am more than half a centennial old and yet right now I feel like I am a 10 year old little boy with how excited I am over this Saturday night prime-time, playoff clinching, national televised game against a hated rival in the snow. Thank you football. I love you.
  12. Please, BRH. Snow is very soft. Like a cozy, big, puffy blanket! We all know it is the sting of the snow getting smacked in his face as he goes down that is going to be the issue. 😁
  13. Step, as memorable and as fun it would be, yeah, I would not want to be there. Those days are so behind me, and that is not only a physical safety issue, but man, anxiety inducing, too. RA, regardless of anything that might outwardly say the NFL wants this snow game, in primetime, between these two teams to happen so. badly. Yeah, I hear ya.
  14. Jeepers-Creepers! What the hell are you trying to do to me?!!!!!!!
  15. If they to postpone this game like Sal M. and others are suggesting I'm going to fight somebody. I've been dreaming about this game being on Saturday all year. We Western New Yorkers are battle hardened folk. The fear would be if it is dangerously cold, and it doesn't appear that is going to be the case. Maybe under freezing in the high 20s, but that is out in the elements, not when stranded. Additionally, I would imagine there will be special attention paid before, after and during around the stadium and road ways with highway and maintenance crews. Doesn't change my feelings for prayers for everyone going to this game. It is going to memorable. Go Bills!
  16. Warrior, you are just trying to butter me up and make me feel good going into the game tomorrow. ...it's working. GO BILLS!!!
  17. Oh man…if we get up by a lot and Tua is playing poorly how badly do I want a chant at the stadium from the Bills faithful of ”MVP…MVP…MVP” for Tua. I honestly think he has mostly played quite well this season, but that would just be perfect.
  18. We like hearing this. Believe me as a guy who started a thread awhile back inquiring about Hyde's return this year before this was a thing I can't help but think about the possibilities. Btw, that was a fun thread to peruse thanks to some of TSW's resident scholars, intelligentsia and Algonquin kids table members. The thing is I know he and the Bills have left the door open. I just have no idea where the door is, how big it is, or what even any of it means. They don't really speak about any parameters or time frames or critical thresholds with it (unless I missed something and my apologies to all if I have). They just sort of speak about it in the abstract or in the ether. No pressure at all, because for crying out loud we are talking about a man's life and health. ...but I still wouldn't argue over having just a few more deets. GO Bills!
  19. Great thread, but do you want a real subtopic here as of page 68? Barring some health catastrophe I am not ready to rule Beasley out of a Bills uniform in 2023. ...Sure, maybe it is a freezing cold take eventually, or even soon, and I will eat the s*** sandwich with a side of chili cheese Fritos if it goes that way, but right now I am willing to go out on that plank and at least suggest it. A lot of baggage went into last year and the Bills have a tendency to rehabilitate their own after poor experiences with other teams (Shaq and Jordan say "hi"), and it looks like a bit of healing has taken place. Go Bill!
  20. I am happy they are 10-3 and not 7-6. I have done the math a few times and it appears they are 3 games better than last season at this same point. I am happy right now. If they win 13 games by the end of the seasons my math witchcraft tells me they will finish tied for the most regular season wins in franchise history (albeit in 17 games) and two games better than last year. This also makes me happy. If the Bills find themselves on the road in the second round of the Playoffs in Cincy or KC then no, I will not be happy. I will cheer for them like crazy, but second round road playoffs games wasn't really the jam I was vibing for all offseason. I am spoiled and I am cool with that because I am old (kinda) and I feel entitled to it and this team, primarily this QB era, may be my last rodeo. 14-3...That's what I need. 14-3 and a path through the Wester New York Southern tier snow belt to get to the Super Bowl. Go Bills!
  21. We honestly need to be talking more about Bobby Hart. * (* I absolutely and honestly can not stress enough that we do not need to talk about Bobby Hart)
  22. DD, as a lover of obscure facts, thank you! That is awesome.
  23. Look, I am not saying they are great and I don't think they are winning or even going to the Super Bowl, but holy mackerel with this league, its fans and betting in general do the Minnesota Vikings really deserve to have to walk around wearing the "We are the Vikings, go ahead and take a big old s*** right in the middle of our chests" t-shirts that everyone has been making them wear lately?! Boy.
