  1. I hated that other slot receiver's 231 receptions for 2,438 yards in 46 regular season games as Bill, and his all time team leading #2 WR average of 82 receptions during his last two years. ...and don't event get me started about that time he played the entire 2020 playoffs with a broken leg and caught only 14 passes. His teammates must have all hated his guts and are all glad he is gone. Onward and upward.
  2. Garrett Wilson was good for the Jets yesterday. As we passed on him DK Metcalf's worst season as a pro was his rookie year. 58 receptions, 900 yards and 7 TDs. His WORST season. That's it. That's the post.
  3. Their season ends soon I can't wait to see them fall I have attention deficit disorder and it causes me to lose track of exactly what I am trying to say or the point I was trying to make so this is really the best I can do for the last line
  4. Tua is his name Accuracy is his claim But seems pretty lame
  5. Royale, I like him as a person and I like some of the amazing things he's done for the Bills, but if he were a free agent after this season (he has 1 more year), a season in which he is on pace for 50 receptions, for 900 plus yards and 7-8 TDs with JA as his QB it is crazy to me thinking that someone would still likely offer him 4 years, $50 million, $20 million guaranteed, and that would be on the low end. I just wouldn't want the Bills to do it. Let's see how the rest of this works out in '2, in the playoffs and in '23.

  7. Coach, I am looking to poke holes in anything you said above. ...I will let you know when I find something. Don't hold your breath on this and if you were planning to go to lunch at noon, but wanted to stick around for my response...you can probably just go ahead and grab yourself a sandwich. I find all of it so very true and I hate diluting the truth with sugar.
  8. Very respectfully, BD, that is about important to me as "if you didn't practice this week you can't play on Sunday" and "you can't lose your job to injury." I don't care if a guy actually helps the opposing team on special teams as long as the guy they are going to be paying 45 million dollars trusts and finds him a few times a game for 1st downs and TDs I am comfortable with it. ...and the proof being that essentially a waiver wire walk-on being a productive part of any offense when he is not even remotely the main guy is a potentially valuable tool for any QB to have in his arsenal bag.
  9. Our #2 WR the last 5 weeks: 24 receptions, 245 yards, 2 TDs. A former Bill who the Giants picked up off of waivers the last five weeks: 17 receptions, 183 yards, 2 TDs. Happy for him and I have never been in the "meh, he can't block or play special teams, dump him" camp. No way am I saying that IH is better than GD (although the comments after this will no doubt claim that's what I am saying). It's just frustrating what is going on with this team, especially at that position that is so critical to making our system go. Give me an "incomplete" or "alternative skill deficient" receiver who is a good size and can catch [EDIT]...every time, because I don't think Josh Allen stays awake at night wondering if his receivers can tackle on kickoffs.
  10. interesting…well, any way that ends up with them going through the most suffering works for me.
  11. Respectfully disagree. I want the bills to beat them with him on the field. It would be sweeter. He’s an a**.
  12. Few are going to realize how great this is. Especially the younglings.
  13. Nicely said, Sir. I like being positive, as well. We had a 35 million cheerleader through part of '21 and most of '22. Now we have a 40 million dollar cheerleader through part of '22 and most of '23. Love it, onward and upward! Seriously, though, I am not ruling out running the table. 14-3 is not impossible, at all. This...is the way we roll, Jelly. Let's GO!! GO BILLS!
  14. Do you watch the way a modern edge rusher plays? That is not a knock on you at all and not a question, because I know you do. I'm just stating that the absolute stress undergone in some of the motions, and even the pivot change of directions, is tremendous. I didn't bring up Tre's injury, you did. I am not saying that they are all the same or even that they happen the same way. We have seen too many instances, otherwise. I also know the way Von's injury happened didn't occur exactly given my concerns. However, those were my concerns, especially with a guy as dominating and fast as Von.
  15. To beguile you with my mastery of the obvious, before we run to the "next Bill up" or the "the younglings have to fly on their own", please note the sole reason this man was brought in, at 33, for 20 million per, with about 60 million guaranteed was to get this team to a Super Bowl. ...along with himself and not as a cheerleader. I think this team is great without him and they may still go, but this is literally crushing. I'll say it again...given the position he plays, his age, and the stress on the lower body getting to the QB this just seemed inevitable. However, how I would love to see the Bills win a SB without any hired guns to help pull them over the top. It would be sweet. GO BILLS!
  16. Yeah, no, that's not how this work. With as hard as these guys cut ad stop on a dime, and at 33 years old and at risk for pile-ups, this event almost seems inevitable. Thank you, Greg. ...and regardless of my dramatics in my earlier post..let's be honest...that would pretty cool. 4 out of 5 years. Ugh, I hate this, though!
  17. The Thanksgiving Day Massacre. Two straight years. The extremely-stitious nature of my personality hopes we avoid these turkey day games in the future.
  18. If so, Jokeman, I'm thinking a bruiser at RB to go with Cook, right? EDIT: Not a pseudo FB, just RB with some speed who can inflict damage.
  19. I am so completely fine with this for 2023: Round 1: Wide Receiver Round 2: O-Line Round 3: O-Line Round 4: Wide Receiver Round 5: O-Line Round 5: Safety
  20. i don’t disagree with anything above, and yes, it is frustrating. Those losses that cost them can obviously be pointed to the results of the circumstances they found themselves in the playoffs…that and not being able to win on the road in January. However, that does not change my earlier comment. Right now they are on top. If you think they are going to lose I will not even argue with that. However, this is the first time this late in the season they have been the 1 seed since 1993. We have to beat the remaining teams, including the bengals to finish at 1…but the Bengals have to, as well, and they are in that position because of what they didn’t do earlier in the season. I can neither weep for them, nor be impressed, because they were without their starting wr for awhile. We have been devastated by injuries, we have had remarkable adversity. The storm was the s*** and the illness was crazy. We will play more road games this year than any team in nfl history that wasn’t going through a new stadium build, or dislocation due to damage. …and we sit at 1. All things considered I’m good and I am not looking with envy at the actions of other teams…coming in on Mondays because they are so hardcore.
  21. Badol, given the OP if you want to give examples of the Bills not showing up, or not dealing with adversity, I am willing to listen.
  22. Bills haven’t played anywhere near their potential…as they sit atop of the AFC and are getting healthier and ramping things up when they normally do in December. Thank you, but I’m sleeping very well at night.
  23. I am asking for friends from South Florida. They want to to know whether they should bring a jacket, just incase it might be chilly. Please let me know your thoughts. GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. I have been talking about this with friends sine the end of the Pats. It is a crazy interesting stat which I don't think has resonated in conversation. I am to think about the fact that seven teams make the playoffs and that one team has beaten every other team over the course of the season is remarkable...maybe even every team that ends up 2 through 8, as well. Yes...so much for weak schedule, indeed. EDIT: 2 through 9 if Cleveland rallies, as I believe they are going to do, even against halfway decent teams.
  25. Also well said, and no real argument from me. That's where my respect for them comes from. Man, Greg...I just think the Jets have a nastiness about them that Miami doesn't have or can't muster, record compared between the two be damned.
