Sure we laughed. Sure we gave you "thumbs up". However, please just let me be the first to take this moment and tell you right to your internet face that...man, this was just darn funny. ...and those members on this board are lying if the said that they didn't use Dr. Evil's voice, do the air quotes and say "AAF Quarterback Draft" out loud at home or in their office.

Anthony Barr next year as our SLB?

Pete...that's not so bad. I love Zo and he keeps himself in great shape. Cut his reps and just letting him go after the QB seems doable. -
Robert Foster pays it forward to a young fan!
dollars 2 donuts replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BB, that's pretty good. What also would be good is if the young man could pay, in some way, what he could forward (volunteering or something) and later let Robert know about it. -
and, TheBeane, I'm telling you they asked MckVay during an interview during Real Sports something like "What did you do in 2015, on the third series, on second down in the second quarter at midfield , the fourth game of the season against Miami?" MckVay: "yeah, we called a TE crossing pattern." ...and then they show the clip and it is what they ran. Freaky. Henner has done interviews on this for years.

If so then I say Merilu Henner is the next great coaching prospect. Like McVay she is another one of those people that can remember every day of their life. @TheBeane Beane, people like MckVay and Henner are crazy...you can pick any moment or day in their life and they can remember what they did or were doing. They've quizzed MckVay on plays called years before in games and he has gotten them right...and not just big plays.

Bills Release P Colton Schmidt

Like I said in the Dolphins thread, the Bills with punters is like Spinal Tap with drummers. -
Kyle Williams & Lorenzo Alexanders Future ?
dollars 2 donuts replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BTW, from what I have heard on the radio and from Alexander himself is that the guy stays in incredible shape. -
Man, can you imagine (speculation) Allen going into his 4th year, long since decided to be our franchise QB, and he gets 8 home games at 70 degrees and no wind?! "Bills coming off an 11-5 season christen their new digs. It may be raining and unusually cold outside for WNY in September, but it is just perfect for football inside here at Duff's and Rootie's Blue Cheese Stadium!" Goosebumps...

Kyle Williams & Lorenzo Alexanders Future ?
dollars 2 donuts replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Royale, call me crazy, but that is why I believe that winning can be more important than just a few draft positions (and I have no problem with those who disagree with me). If we go 8-8 or (crazy) 9-7?! If Allen goes 7-4 or 8-3?! Man, what that would mean to some of what happens in the off season and this team's potential for next year. Skinner had a no trade clause...why the hell did he waive? Eichel and the potential. Maybe some free agents will think the same thing. Again, just my opinion. -
Huddles, let's be honest (looks to the left, looks to right, leans into the keyboard and delicately presses the keys as they whisper) ...it would be awesome to be a "warm weather" team indoors like the Vikes and Indy. What? WHAT?! Who wrote that, we are a cold weather "3 yards and a cloud of dust" city!!! shhh

Kyle Williams & Lorenzo Alexanders Future ?
dollars 2 donuts replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. Would love to see how Kyle feels and where he thinks this team is at next year, but I believe that is accurate. I believe Lorax will be the Teppo Numminen of the Bills...at least for next year just signing a one year deal and see where it goes. -
DC the number of angles are almost immeasurable compared to the other sports. During the major games you actually have cameras on the he field and above the players. The green of the field, with the player speed, and actually action on the field trumps the other sports, just in my opinion. Side note, the sport I think that most benefited from HD? Hockey. In HD you can actually see the black in the ice and you can follow the puck better than ever. hockey was terrible in SD.

Corta, don't think that I forgot about you. You wrote that excellent and lengthy educational post on this subject last year that had me changing my mind a bit on the stadium. I will add to my comments above based upon your comments and which may be a step back for me, that as long as it makes common sense and not just NFL football sense, then I am in.
-
Man, how my mind has changed on this over the years. I don't believe any team needs these cathedral stadiums. If you want them and can afford them, great. Otherwise, just a nice venue to watch a game is good enough. Why? Because I think only so much money can be made from the stadiums over an 8-10 week home schedule, as opposed to what they cost to put up. However, and most importantly, the very best place to watch any game, especially football, is on TV. As a matter of fact others have commented that football, given all the cameras and coverage, may be the best television sport. Sure, make sure the stadiums are filled, but squeeze out all the money you can, NFL, from your other sources of income and come back down to Earth on the stadiums. I am not just talking about the Bills, but every NFL city, unless you want these costly homes so badly. ...I just don't think that they should be the standard of what every NFL team should have.

Wasn't there no Gronk? They are winning with mirrors. They are pretenders.
