90s Bills legacy in serious jeopardy next year...
dollars 2 donuts replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It sucks, Cap. It sucks. it sucks, it sucks, it sucks. It’s not enough that these bastards win, but they also take the little talismans we cling to...jerks. edit: the only thing left after the four Super Bowls is if they pay Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas, and Andre Reed to retire as honary Patriots next year during a halftime ceremony. ...during the Thursday night kickoff game. -
90s Bills legacy in serious jeopardy next year...
dollars 2 donuts replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They destroyed the closest Super Bowl ever mystique with that OT Falcons game debacle, and wrecked our greatest comeback of all time. was ours bigger? Of course, but everyone will remember the SB comeback more. I freaking hate the Pats and they’ve ruined the next two weeks for me. and no it is not good enough for me to have them lose the SB, the final game of the season, due to the two weeks of BS we have to put up with. -

Huds, post of the day. They don't have to be long and they don't even have to be about football. -
Who were the most UNDERUTILIZED Bills in history
dollars 2 donuts replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they were serious about him in the first 3 years, even on bad buffalo teams, he would have finished his career at the same time, even with his devastating knee injury in 77(?), but likely would have been in a position to challenge Jim Brown as the all-time leading rusher. Yep, just checked. 360 more yards in each of his 3 first three seasons would have had him walking off the field in December of '79 in San Francisco, as the NFL's all time leading rusher. Please excuse the exclusive focus just on football with respect to OJ here. I am just stating numbers. 1969 1,057 instead of 697 1970 848 instead of 488 1971 1,102 instead of 742 -

It has to be Oliver. Doesn't it have to be Oliver, even if you sign JP for DT? -
Shocking and sad. Too young.

Mango, it matters. Not to everyone, but it does matter. Thank you for posting this, brother. Prayers, thoughts and sympathy to the Goodwins. -
Out Of Divison Rivals

ARRGH, Shady, that's what makes the 98 season playoff loss to Miami so hard. I don't care if we ended up losing the following game (you know what I mean) , but beating the Dolphins there and you own a 3-0 advantage against them in the playoffs, and 1-0 against the Jets. Can't help anything with the Pats as they were our very first playoff loss, but still. -
Love it. More so love not wasting time with it. They got'er done before the unis were even clean yet. EDIT: and I know this is weird, but I very much like the guys that I like playing for us making more money. I like that he isn't being chased out of the league and that he gets to make another good sized chunk for his family. EDIT 2: In 14 years almost half his career earnings of $15,584,000 +/- has come as a Buffalo Bill in the last 3 years (about $7,485,000, not including this new contract).

Eagles officially choose Wentz over Foles
dollars 2 donuts replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jeepers, Cuddy, you just put the idea in my head of the Pats getting Foles, and Brady not wanting to retire heading to Miami. -
I honestly think that just in his second year, and as the standalone starter at LT, in the NFL I can see where you would get comfortable with your job, as he said. The things is the true pros know you have to play and train like your team is about ready to cut you. It's not challenging for a roster spot...it is challenging yourself.

Dave DeGugielmo O Line Available
dollars 2 donuts replied to Ittakestime's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Augie, I wasn't ribbing on you, I was making a joke at Castillo's expense. One of my first, but likely my last, as it is really beating a dead horse. Honestly, maybe Bryan and Dave did talk recently. -

This seems to be a no brainer...so it's never going to happen. He can be the only explanation for firing Castillo! -
Gronk likely headed for retirement per Rapoport
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
and you know what thing is too, CBiscuit, is that you can throw your arms back, absolutely get into a guys face, bump him like crazy and you are not going to get tossed. Every Bill should have been doing that...and let Gronk throw the first punch. ...but they should have been doing something. -
Would Cordy Glenn be an option in FA?
dollars 2 donuts replied to STL-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guys you all probably know better than me, but is there a chance he could go inside? I thought there was talk of him when drafted of being a guard. Maybe not now with all of the foot issues, but just wondering. -
Kuech, RIP, and prayers to your family.

Jets select Adam Gase as HC

The Jets hired a younger, more socially uncomfortable and less charming Putin. ...too soon?
