  1. I don't want to lose Campbell, but if they think they can pull off moving a spot or 3 so be it. However, Washington would give us an extra RT in pass pro, a bulldozer for run blocking, a guy who could probably wall off 3 defenders and a chain moving red zone target. Bang for the buck? I would prefer Campbell 1 then Darnell 2.
  2. I'm not holding my breath for DHOP. They'd have to move Ed and money would still be tight...as in none for post June 1st. I'm not afraid of rolling with what we have if we can land a good TE2...There;s also some talent at WR to be had after the 1st.
  3. I think I saw 1 mock on NFL.com that has us moving to 20 and taking Q. Johnston....I think for 91
  4. He's 65 and I'm sure he did all right for himself over the years since playing with the 85 Bears. He could probably use a break....and that's good enough for me.😉
  5. We also gave Houston a 2024 4th conditional 3rd. No 27 isn't in the deal. .Robinson fell in our laps and we sent him to Seattle for 37 and 83 then took Darnell Washington at 37 and Cedric Tillman at 83. IDK i'm going crazy ....20 days
  6. Draft night at 27... No Wright, no Addison , JSN or Johnston, no Kincaid or Meyer and no Breese. Bills trade Oliver to hometown Houston for... nos, 33 / 65 and 188. ( Texans have 2 3rds and 2 6ths). At 33 the Bills select Calijah Kancey then trade 59 /91/ 206 and next yrs 4th to Carolina for no. 39 and select Jack Campbell. With no. 65 the Bills Select Steve Avila. Pick 130 Rashee Rice WR Pick 137 Zack Kuntz TE I forgot I said I was gonna quit doing this....20 more days
  7. Yep and I think there's a chance that there may be some one who falls to us that another team really wants. The hard part about trying to trade down a little is the 6 teams right below us, 2 of which are AFC arch rivals. However, I wouldn't mind moving to 33 and getting 65.
  8. Outside of maybe pick 20, this draft i think is gonna be very unpredictable. I'm trying to shut my mind off from endless scenarios and just trust in Beane. I bet he pulls at least one or two moves no one ever saw coming.
  9. If he's at 27, I'd be trying to fleece somebody.
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if there is/are at least some kind of civil suit(s) in carter's future. In the video I watched, the cop asking questions was more like Barney Fife and I'm shocked he didn't ask for a selfie and autograph. Carter may be good for a short while, but I think things will unravel.
  11. If the Broncos would have taken Dareus, I'm guessing we woulda drafted Von.
  12. What about the pre draft brew ha with Geno Smith, Matt Barkley , E.J.Manuel, Mike Glennon, Tyler Wilson, (my fave Ryan Nassib), Landry Jones, and Zac Dysert? IIRC, the top 2 were Geno and Matt (who were the most argued over) went....39 and 48 LOL. Of course under the astute leadership of Whaley and Brandon, the Bills take E.j. at 16. Ahhh, those must have been the good ole days..... if one were to listen to some of the posters here now who use the word McClappy and complain about Beane.🤪 EDIT: I did pick Groot!
  13. I only read a little about Mazi Smith and all I came away with was a guy who has the build but not much production and got caught with an unregistered handgun. Speaking of Dline and ends, how do we fit the 53?
  14. The Sporting News top 140. They have Wright at 41 and Washington at 44. (FWIW....Sanders at 33 and Campbell at 70.) OBL was looking at the Defenses in our division and we are gonna have to be tuff on the Oline. Darnell Washington would be a good add. Give me him and Avila after the 1st rd.
  15. I was just looking at Sporting News top 140 and at 27....Isaiah Foskey and I will not complain. It's really a far different listing than other sites. Check it out. I bet there will be some changes of opinion.
  16. The question for me is....Would it be better to have a top tier communicator and badass in the middle who can cover in zone? or do I want someone with one year inside who may be better at OLB for his pass rushing ability from the end? For me, I'd rather have Campbell, because MLB is more important. I'd love to have a stud OLB who can hit the gaps or around the end, but it would seem like trying to have Sanders doing double duty. I don't think that's doable. One or the other..Would love both. Sanders / Campbell / Milano would be the shyt. Bernard / Spector and Matekevich make 6....and I'd still like Klein back depending if it's possible to carry that number. I am all for Beane dipping into next year's picks to move up when he needs to.
  17. Well I've said it before, the 1st rd. pick has to play. period. That being said, it bear's discussion as to roster numbers. If they go DT or DE, how many linemen can they keep? Anyone going to the P.S. is as good as gone....likely a Giant. BTW, I think Kingsley Jonathan ( who would have been the no.1 overall pick in the CFL), is probably better than any edge we could find after pick 91. They can cut some fat off the Oline, but at the expense of demoting Brown?....that's really questionable judgement IMO. A no. 27 pick has to start day 1. Brown had no off season last year and is on his 2nd year with Kromer as well as his 2nd O.C. so I will defer to Beane's judgement on him. IMO, we need a C or better yet a C/G. I prefer Avila ( considering where we pick in the 2nd.) How many LBs can they keep? We, I believe currently we have 5. Not a big Dodson fan. Same with WRs. We have what? 5 not counting Kumerow? I doubt a day one difference maker will be there at 27....let alone the old adage that it takes 2 to 3 years for a WR to break out. I think we can find a future stud 91 or in the 4th or even later. All that being said, I would take Kincaid or Meyer if either fell to us and try like hell to make a move for Sanders....Or I would go Campbell, Avila and Musgrave. Avila...6'3 1/2 332 played center 2021 and guard 2022 not allowing a single sack. I'm willing to bet come draft day Beane makes moves none of us saw coming.
  18. Not to mention picking where we are....nothing is a "reach"...and a 1st rd. player has to play so the minute they draft Wright, they are removing Brown. Hell Bates could play RT most likely better than a rookie. Just not a move I would make. We do need an OT and C/G, but not with the 1st of 6 picks.
  19. N. Smith / Cancey or Breese would be my guess....if it were to happen.
  20. I think Jones will be the best tackle in the future and 40 seems to be the right spot. I don't wanna draft a tackle just because worst case we can move him inside. I would rather have a C/G like Avila learning next to Morse and go with a Breeland later.
  21. Oh don't get mad ...cause 2 outta 3 ain't bad....
  22. Jack Campbell Steve Avila Rashee Rice
  23. Didn;t think of that.
  24. It's a hard decision to make. One one hand, you get an extra RT...who could free up Knox and very well only be 20 Lbs away from being a good RT...or.. do you go with an offensive weapon? Quinton Morris is a slippery dude that can catch. What do ya do?
