  1. ....And he oozes McD. He's exactly a guy McD can mold. Hopefully, they'll employ a little more 4-3. I think Rapp will split time with Taron. There could be some combos they could play with. Bernard/ Spector... Campbell .... Milano. Rapp...Campbell...Milano. Campbell ... Milano ... KIngsley Jonathan ( who by the way was or would have been the no.1 overall pick in the CFL), I expect to make the 53, as a pass rushing OLB. The point is I'm hoping we are in the position to send LB blitzes from anywhere at will and on almost every down. With a steady rotation of LB blitzes that gives us a 5-2-4 vs. a 4-2-5. There's absolutely no reason we shouldn't be able to play way more man with Poyer and Hyde on the back end. No more base nickel.
  2. That leads me to further believe he's the target.
  3. I think the problem is the Steelers picking 17 and 33. No matter if they take BPA tackle or Joey Porter, I'm willing to bet they go LB at 33. They probably view him as Jack Campbert. If the Bills gamble on getting him in the 2nd, they have to manufacture a pick between 33 and 48 cause Pitt. picks again at 49....not to mention that stretch of picks are teams most likely to bleed the Defensive talent pool dry. Actually, I think no matter what, we need to come up with a higher 2nd while keeping 59. I would trade next year's 1st in a heartbeat to do it....and ( possibly a 4th ). I think then (with the 2nd pick in the 5th, we can knock this one out of the park. If Robinson falls to us, I'm looking to move down and deal to the Saints or Philly at 29 or 30 and pick up an extra 3rd. That being said, I'm guessing the Bills pick will come down to ( Darnell Wright, Nolan smith, Kincaid or Meyer, Kancey, Campbell or BPA corner. Assuming the TEs are gone and I don't think they feel BPA is Oline where they pick, they may have to take a chance.
  4. First post with Robinson 1st pick.......🤨
  5. IDK how Beane's gonna pull this draft off. He's gotta find a way to get extra picks somehow from 2 thru 4.
  6. Not to mention next year's picks are likely to be very late in the rounds.
  7. Well I guess he's playing then. Ed's gonna have a year like Edmunds did last year.....hopefully more impactful, so....so be it. BTW I still wouldn't mind Kancey either way.
  8. Nope. Anything beyond a 3rd is cutting the nose off to spite the face. I'd probably would accept 73, but no lower. I can see D'meco Ryans bringing in a hometown fave and do better with him than we have done. Why wait and pay next year's FA price?
  9. I went back and changed it. I messed up.
  10. I screwed up. It should have been Ed for 65 161 201
  11. They have 2 3rds and 11 picks overall, plus they can stretch out a 2 or 3 yr. deal if they wanted to. I don't really have a problem keeping him because like Tremaine, he's probably gonna have his best year yet but get over paid by some team next year. EDIT: I screwed up my original trade with Houston. Went back and changed it.
  12. Trade Ed to his hometown Houston for picks 65 and 161 and 201. If Robinson somehow is there at 27 trade with Saints for 29 and 71. Then...I put my trust in McBeane. Picks 29 40 59 65 71 130 137 161 201 205 Plenty of ammo for Beane to do his wizardry....plus an extra 10.7
  13. I think they're gonna let Ed play through this year and see if they get more consistency at his spot. Last yr. I wanted to trade Edmunds , but it didn't happen. As a matter of fact, I was just cleaning out some files and found my thoughts from last year. 4/27/22 Rd.1 Trade pick 25 - 32 (for pick 66) Detroit Zion Johnson Pro bowl LG for years to come and can play multiple spots. Beane is going to build a BA oline and he's not gonna wait any longer. God forbid if Saffold goes down, Beane is NOT going to let this oline go thru what it did last year. TRADE: Tremaine Edmunds to NYG for picks 36 and 67. The Giants have 2 3rd rounders and are basically giving up a 2nd rd. pick for Edmunds, not to mention taking his 12.7 mil. cap hit. The Bills give them pick 203 rd. 6. Maybe they'll move him to the outside where he belongs...and could possibly pay dividends, away from Leslie Frazier...don't get me started... PLEASE NOTE: Edmunds is in no way worth 12.7 this year just to watch some team offer him a stupid amount next offseason and he's gone, so why not make a move now. 12.7 is an absolute waste of money this year. My personal last straw was the floundering, bewildered look in his eyes during th K.C playoff game. Conversely, K.C's rookie MLB Nick Bolton looked like a stud. Pick 36; Christian Harris LB. He may not be a giant but as a 3 year signal caller for Nick Saban, he's got great instincts, is a baller and great in coverage. He can play inside or out Pick 57: John Metchie WR YAC monster. Maybe he doesn't catch the ball 70 yds down field, but can turn 20 into 70. Catch him if you can. Pick 66 ( from Detroit): Troy Anderson LB Too good to pass up here. The NFL is always evolving and where it's being called a passing league, I;m willing to bet we'll see more 2 tight end offenses as well as having to deal with bigger backs, ie. Henry as well as remembering getting run over by Indy and NE last year. Taron Johnson cannot tackle the bigger , more powerful backs. We are going to have to have a 4-3 capability. Anderson has played multiple positions and should bring great anticipation. Pick 67 ( form NYG) Tariq Woolen Cb Big and Fast and NFL comparison ...Marlo Humphries. Pick 89 Cam Taylor Britt CB Double dipping here because this guy's a hitter. I don't know know how the pecking order will work out with Tre's return date and Dane Jackson, but we could be set for years with 4 stud corners...and if we ever wanted or needed to drop 7 like Cincy did, we can do it. Pick 130 Darien Kinnard A big nasty talented olineman who is also very versatile and drops to us here because of some bad press at the senior bowl where he may have rubbed the coaches the wrong way. Dude's a beast. Again, Beane is not going to spend 10 yrs. building an oline or be nonchalant about it because JA's mobile. Pick 168 John Ridgeway DL I think this guy falls through the cracks and deserves a shot here. He could turn out to be a punisher. Pick 185 I'm guessing this would be a good spot to take either the punter from Penn State or Ga. Pick 231.....IDK,,,,Stevie Johnson? I'd just like to make one more point about our Oline. I believe Beane is going to really address this issue. What if Saffold gets hurt?...What if Morse gets concussed?...What if Spencer Brown gets hurt again? We are grabbing our ankles praying Josh doesn't get injured, If Ike comes back mid season, so...what's that gonna help?. If Bates has to move to center, then what? ...Mantz? I think Quessenbury can step in and be servicable, but it's time to build a Colt's type of line. I think Johnson can give us the next Ruben Brown and Kinnard can grow into a vicious RG...plus they are both versatile. As of right now, this current Oline can easily become our Achilles heel. i'd like for a vet like Bates to be next to Brown and Saffold to teach Johnson. He doesnt have to be a starter day one. We have to build a kickass Oline! Thank goodness Aaron Kromer is here. Let's get nasty.
  14. Every Damn Year!!!! Oh speaking of Tannenbaum, there's another top candidate for the pink slip. I listened to him earlier with the least popular take ever. Bruschi gave him hell so that was good.
  15. How about Campell 27 Mauch (sp?) 59 Rashee Rice 91. I would consider this satisfactory....maybe even lucky.
  16. I read that and checked him out a bit. I'd be ok with it. I'm just gonna trust McBeane. I spend way too much time on here. It's stressful Yo.
  17. That's what came to my mind. NFL record (still) for playing in 6 SBs. 4 with the Bills and 2 with Denver
  18. I'm willing to bet if it happens, it'll be during the draft...and how the first rd. shakes out. It might have to come in terms of a draft day trade of Ed. Maybe they get a couple of decent picks for him and parlay that into DHop. Maybe if Robinson makes it to 27, we can trade with Philly or the Saints for a pick or 2 and then deal.
  19. I think it will be several notches. I bet he really wants to make a statement this year and I'm sure he'll be asking himself..." Why didn't I do this sooner?" I am excited! Hopefully our blitzes go way up and we're near the top in sacks. Sacks wreck QBs and effect their game. It's high time to lay the wood to these fools! Hopefully Milano goes Arthur Moats on A Aron. A.J puts the hit to sit Tua and Mac Jones is constantly throwing red faced hissy fits and picks. "Is it better to be feared or respected?" Is it too much to ask for both? I think McD will demand both. I'm psyched!
  20. I'd rather have Darnell Washington. Would be like a 2nd RT, great run blocker and be an outlet valve that no DB can contest. Give me Jack Lambert...err.. Jack Campbell first.
  21. Just did some research, I'm sold! 27 worthy?..... EDIT: Did some more and there's quite a swing in opinions.
  22. Thanks! I'm excited! I think McD is cooking up something good. I'm sure he was told that he was gonna see the field on a regular basis. May be they are preparing for slim pickins early on at LB and/or if another position is BPA.
