  1. I love Josh. I'm thankful for him and his play. Your points on this game are well taken. That said.... There is room for improvement. That's not hating on the guy. He's so special that this kinda feast or famine approach is working. That said, occasional bombs with occasional running would be more effective with a good check-down / short game. Harder on defenses. I bet Josh thinks he can improve. If so, I agree with him. He has the ability to be perhaps the greatest of all time (though I don't know that he could catch Brady in the SB's) but he has more tools than anyone I've ever seen.
  2. This exactly. Besides needing to draft more offensive talent, this is where the Bills (Josh) can improve the most. Checking down will keep drives alive, keep the opposing offense off the field, lead to more time of possession, AND open up more deep passes. Love Josh. Want him to take the next step in smart quarterback play. If we are going to beat elite teams consistently this is what it's going to take. He needs to be a bit more Brady and less Farve.
  3. I wish this offense would play the game like grownups and stop acting like they are playing Madden. Seriously. Jesus christ
  4. This is a well reasoned and accurate take. That said, I really do hope that Josh works on this aspect of his game because of how transcendent he would become. I love him. He's my dude. But damn, if he could mix some Brady-esque layups in with his Farve-esque heroics we'd be in for an even better ride. No complaint, just exhibiting a growth mindset! LOL
  5. Auntie Em, I know I'm going off of very little information, kind of like our friend arcane, but I think you have a gorgeous brain! So if you're ever in Miami, hit me up and we'll burn one down! LOL
  6. Your perspective is myopic. Which is fine. Just kind of annoying that you choose to go off topic in order to provide your morality sermon. No one here is trying to please you. So why are you disappointed? https://matadornetwork.com/nights/41-successful-stoners-time/
  7. Unlike anything you enjoy, I'm sure.
  8. Until the hoist the Lombardi that splinter will be in my brain. Can't help it. 4 SB losses... But damn, if they can win that thing the demons will be exercised! But at least we are on track! Better than the alternative!
  9. This. It's been like hanging in a bad marriage. Pray for me.
  10. Shaq Lawson has been playing WELL! He's playing GOOD football! What are they teaching you young whipper snappers these days?! (Just playing! 😋)
  11. Actually they're a pretty good example with what's wrong with every human being, I mean, like deep down in each of our eternal souls. I mean, college football has just become such a spiderweb of iniquity. Prayers up. This. I just don't see them having the toughness and guts to get teeth knocked out by Georgia and keep fighting. Hope I'm wrong. And yes, I too sense that they COULD go wild on Georgia. But I wouldn't bet on it.
  12. I think your faith is about to get a boost.
  13. The team just doesn't play with the edge that they had with Tressel and Meyer. Team feels like it did when John Cooper was the coach: tons of talent but wilted under pressure.
  14. As a long time Ohio State fan, I agree.
  15. Damn... I think I just blinked...
  16. You never know, he might have messed his pants when he got the news.
  17. Yeah, but I wish the team would have... But seriously, I'm glad you had fun.
  18. You sound kind and well-adjusted! I wish I could feel like you. You are certainly right. A lot of people, perhaps immaturely, are looking for the Bills to heal the wound they made in our sports psyche. It feels funny saying all of this out loud, but sometimes the truth ain't pretty. 😆
  19. I think a lot of us that were relatively young during those Super Bowls really got our sport psychology pretty messed up. It boggles my mind that our team even went to four straight super bowls. That alone is insane. And the fact that we lost every single one of them. The fact that i, yes, literally cried after four straight Super Bowls and had my heart broken. When you suffer for something so long and so hard it is nearly impossible to give up. But part of me wishes that yes, the Bills win one Super Bowl, and then after I'm done relishing that victory I won't care about them anymore. I know we're getting kind of deep here, but those four losses really did impact a lot of people psychologically.
  20. I'll try not to overreact to your overreaction of my overreaction! LOL
  21. Nah, the Bills freaked out a lot of fans that love them.
  22. I agree. Yesterday in a post I just wrote, "I'm sad," and this is really why. As someone who lived through the four Super Bowl losses my main driver in being a fan now is to finally see a team get over the hump. And it feels like my history as a Bills fan has been one of feeling stupid for actually having hope and believing in the team. I really didn't think I would ever feel that way with this team with Josh Allen under center. And yet 0-2 in the division has me worried. I know the season is long. And I know that this will all just make for part of a great story if we end up winning the championship. But for the moment I feel that I've (potentially) been disillusioned regarding this team. That my belief was ill-founded and like I'm being forced to consider the possibility that this team to is somehow just another pretender. Caring about the Bills has been been a big unnecessary pain in my life. It hurts more than liking a sports team should. Let's see how they respond.
