  1. Jumpin Jayzus… so crazy. Was wondering about her yesterday. Gonna read the article now. Paywall… blah… I’m gathering now that Kim had a heart attack and that she must’ve suffered some brain damage going without oxygen so long before being resuscitated. Forgive me if this is already known, I’m just realizing now what the case seems to be. My goodness… heartbreaking
  2. “Shoulda offered $10. Plus thrown in some old used sneakers. Then you would have got it for sure. You really need to reevaluate your shopping philosophy. SMH”- NFL Draft Fans McCord… he had a good high school career but if he hadn’t played with MHJ I highly doubt OSU would have offered him, 1) because he wouldn’t have had as good of stats, and 2) because I think OSU really wanted to land MHJ and taking his buddy helped.
  3. I guess if O’Connell can build an offense that utilizes that action to great effect, he’s got the right guy. The thing that McCarthy also has going for him, which I already mentioned is his mindset. He’s focused on that very extensively which I respect a lot. PS I love your username and Picart! Funny as hell Do you mean about this topic or more generally like about life and stuff? Not that I have a good answer for either, I’m just curious. 😂
  4. Makes me chuckle too. Gotta take laughs where you can get them these days. PS I was born in Youngstown OH. Is that the Ytown in your name?
  5. I got distracted by Beane’s perfect little haircut that frames his amazing football-shaped brain. I didn’t hear a word. But damn brother, I put the steak on your plate - do I have to cut it and feed it to you too??? 😂
  6. I’m a big Ohio State fan so I had my eye on McCarthy all year. He has good character and athleticism. Do you feel that he has the arm talent to make it in the NFL? Maybe he just didn’t get to throw it enough in that offense, but I just don’t see the evidence of an NFL caliber passer. Especially when compared with some of the other top guys.
  7. Yeah, most surprising to me is McCarthy. I like him. Seems like a good dude with tenacity. But nothing that I saw at Michigan screamed franchise QB to me other than his grit. I have a hard time seeing his ceiling as anything higher than “game manager with occasional flashes”. Maybe O’Connell can scheme up ways to help him over achieve. I have no take on Maye. Never really watched him.
  8. Interesting. Always fun to speculate. And then fun to see how it actually plays out. Let’s watch Maye and McCarthy. They could have lucked into a better selection (assuming they wanted Maye). Who knows. Time will tell.
  9. I caught that. He skipped a beat when asked… and behold, I saw the face of Patrick Mah…. Hahaha We need to win a f***ing SB and beat the Chiefs on the way!
  10. I generally agree. We need Brady to draw up schemes that leverage the unique skills of our players. I still hope McBeane lands a high level deep threat at WR in the next year or so (one defenses truly fear) but I hope Brady maximizes the talent he has at his disposal. I’m confident that Coleman has enough juice to do some real damage if used well. I want to see a smash mouth running game and an A level deep threat added in the future.
  11. 2 - Ladd McConky, WR, Georgia 2 - Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan 3 - Peyton Wilson, LB, North Carolina State 4 - Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville 5 - Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, C, Georgia 5 - Mekhi Wingo, DT, LSU 5 - Javon Solomon, EDGE, Troy 6 - Joshua Karty, K, Stanford 6 - Keaton Bills, G, Utah 7 - Josh Proctor, SAF, Ohio State
  12. i’m with you on this one. In a pre-draft post I talked about both Xavier Worthy and Keon Coleman. I had good things to say about both of them, but when we passed on Worthy, I was pissed. It’s not even so much that I was mad about passing on that player in particular. It’s just the complete lack of a coaching philosophy that builds around the strengths we already have. Look, if Josh Allen and Keon Coleman lead us to a Super Bowl win I’ll crawl down the street in front of the parade wearing a tutu and repent with loud wailing. But you have a QB with possibly the strongest arm the league has ever seen that can move around and buy time. So dear God, load your roster up with wide receivers that can kill it on the second and third level of the defense. We already have a couple of tight ends to take care of the underneath stuff as well as a running back that can catch. I think that’s a better way to what they’re doing. we have a stubborn defensive minded head coach that is fairly good at figuring out how to stop offenses, but I really don’t think that he knows how to build one that can compete with the best offensive of minds in the game.
  13. I’ll add my voice to the chorus: let’s pass. I’m particularly excited to see what our undrafted free agents can do. From what I’ve seen, you could probably plug Keaton Bills in there right now, and he would be serviceable. So I’m excited to see how he develops under professional level coaching.
  14. We don’t have the space this year. It may be possible to add someone of Debo’s stature next year, but I would first: 1) want to see how Coleman develops and know what his full potential is, and 2) go after other pass catchers whose skill sets can beat me maximized in conjunction with the other receivers on the team. Im more inclined to find that talent in the draft, but you never know.
  15. You may be right, but that said, Josh apparently had a “wishLIST of receivers,” as opposed to just Coleman. That list could have consisted of MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, Thomas and Coleman. This would have made Coleman the choice by default. I think it more likely to have included one or two more names, because how else would Beane have felt comfortable to trade down if there was only one name left? I would bet good money that Josh’s list include at least one, if not both, of Worthy and Pearsall, in addition to Coleman.
  16. Does Josh still care? When he grows his beard he looks like late-stage Jim Morrison. I’m worried. 🙃
  17. I like this game a lot. The only thing that would make it better is if we actually had to make the picks when the Bills were in actually on the clock. More difficult to pull off but that would be awesome. As it is I’ll try to my draft in the next day or two.
  18. But not desperate enough to use more draft capital… 🤔 But don’t worry, this guy is slow… like JERRY FREAKING RICE!!!
  19. Honestly, start planning years earlier to raise the probability of having emerging playmakers around Allen. Next best, take multiple cracks at playmakers in this year’s draft. Next best, take one guy and hope to beat the odds. Last option, do nothing. McBeane did one step up from nothing. Nice guys. Decent professionals. But they are squandering our franchise QB and Super Bowl chances. It’s a bummer.
  20. 🫘 Here are three beans. I smashed it! This comment rulz! I love every word!
  21. i wonder why they held off on that one… probably $ stuff I haven’t looked into, but he is the sore thumb
  22. Damn, Beane is gonna have to figure out how to get that 7th rounder back.
  23. I think we can only know for sure that they had Coleman higher than Legette (knew Carolina was taking him) and McConkey (didn’t pick him when they had the chance). They didn’t know who KC or San Fran would pick when they made the trade. Theoretically they may have had Worthy and Pearsall higher.
