  1. This guy is special, the best RB since Barkley. He would be a fantastic fit and take pressure off of Josh. That being said, unfortunately I don't think we can take him if he's there. I think we need WR and OL desperately, and perhaps safety in that spot. But if Beane decides that he is by far the best player on the board at that point I'm ok with it.
  2. Only way he stays is if he agrees to home town discount, which I don't think he will and that's OK. He's earned his payday. He is getting long in the tooth, injured all year. Its time for the transition especially with Hyde and Damlin up in air. Bigger question is can we get Edmunds to take something reasonable along the lines of his partner Milano. Hope he will. Then big Ed next in line. Josh I'm sure will be willing to do whatever it takes to provide cap relief but only so much you can do.
  3. I agree, need OL and WR. HOWEVER, with Poyer possibly gone, Hyde a question mark and Damar likely done, do not be surprised if our first rd pick is a safety. There are several really good ones and they would make sense at our position in the Draft. (Hopefully last pick).
  4. Oh come on now, you expect a multi BILLION dollar corporation to be able to install technology like the NBA uses??? And I suppose you also think there is a better way to measure ten yards than two sticks connected by a chain?? C'MON MAN!!!
  5. I felt he did look a bit tentative in the pocket on Sunday and when he did try to take off he was caught. I think the ankle was bothering him a bit. He's been spied for two years, and for two years he has run right around and through the spy. I'm hoping he is able to be full beast mode starting this week, also it's time to run more QB sweeps. Win or go home.
  6. I agree, but did anybody else feel like Josh just wasn't himself physically yesterday? He appeared a bit tentative and slow to roll out and also to take off. He also got caught several times by the spy. Spies never are effective against him. I read an article that mentioned that he was on the injury report this week with an ankle injury. That might explain it. Anyone else feel he was limited?
  7. It was obvious and ridiculous it wasn't called. Who knows, maybe the Bengals get held to FG. Changed the complexion of the game.
  8. I don't know looked helmet to helmet to me. I thought he was concussed
  9. Are you familiar with the following concepts: RB screen, TE screen, bubble screen, draw, delayed draw, quick slant, quick out, go and stop, etc. I'm no OC, but it seems to me that there are experts in the NFL that believe these are effective concepts against cover zero. Thanks for your attention. Now...back to calling your seven step drop duo go routes.....
  10. Um, the 49ers have entered the chat....
  11. It's BOTH. They feed into each other. Daboll was a calming influence, Dorseys ultra aggressiveness brings out the Sugar Josh.
  12. Well, win and advance. AND, we can't possibly play this bad next week...can we...😬 On a side note, I believe Dorseys ultra aggressiveness is simply KILLING US.
  13. All or nothing. All year. No screens, slants, how many runs this half?
  14. Agree. I don't know.
  15. He just won't take what they give him. All year
  16. Start some planned Josh runs!! That will help him.
  17. This!!! Why is he not running today?? That gets him going and the O in rhythm.
  18. I feared this. Complete emotional collapse. It was going to happen. Just so much.
  19. Um...what big plays has Mckenzie provided this season? I can't recall any. Big disappointment this year, especially the drops. Hoping Beasley can provide that consistent check down that Josh has hesitated to take at times this season.
  20. That's good to hear. Thank you.
  21. I haven't heard anything about this and I haven't seen him on the sidelines. I believe he can still be very important in two ways. 1. In practical ways. Studying film, discussing matchups and techniques with guys like Groot. And then during the game. Watching in real time what is happening and talking to the D line about it. 2. Just from a leadership and inspiration level. There are going to be tough moments the next 4 games( see what I did there? 😁) You can just see him going up and down the bench keeping everyone going, screaming DON'T BLINK!
  22. Gutsy win. Hopefully news for Damar stays good, and with a " normal" week the Bills can come out and play a great game next week. Secondary and lack of pass rush veery concerning. Gonna need 35 the entire way I fear to run the table
