  1. This is where you want to see the lots. https://ednalouise.com/sales/1688?
  2. Also WR is a position where age is mostly unforgiving... I think due to the fairly extreme level of physical excellence needed to play the position. I don't know how credible this is but according to Statmuse there are only 11 NFL WRs over the age of 30. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-current-wide-receivers-over-the-age-of-30 The downfall usually starts with nagging injuries. Often the WR still plays well when healthy but has a hard time staying healthy.
  3. I'll start by saying that every individual is different and every rule has its exceptions. That said, reading this (from The Athletic) gave me pause: No matter where he signs, though, temper expectations slightly. Hopkins is two years removed from his last All-Pro season and played in only 19 of 34 regular-season games over the past two seasons because of injuries and a suspension. Receivers at his age have struggled to recapture their early career successes; the last 31-plus first-team All-Pro receiver was Reggie Wayne ... in 2010. There’s a reason the Cardinals couldn’t find a deal. That was Wayne's 9th NFL season. As I try to recall recent late career seasons of superstar receivers, I can't forget A.J. Green falling off the performance cliff at age 29 in his 8th season and Julio Jones doing the same at age 30 in his 9th season. In 11 days Hopkins will turn 31 years old as he prepares for his 11th NFL season.
  4. "On 3, READY... BREAK!!!" Crisp currency does not have greater, value dumb dumb. Is that what you were saying when Von Miller became a Bill? Don't you mean Bailey Zappe? My... you have a large font... Have you considered not getting excited? Maybe the reverse strategy? Just a thought. What brand of tricycle? Difference is Lofton could take the top of a defense and that was hugely helpful to Kelly, Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas. DHop on the other hand never could take a top off a defense and now he's older and slower. Your son is... a she? That's DeAndre HoSkins!!! *****!!!
  5. Wow Josh has another "tight end." First Knox, then Kincaid, and now this.
  6. I'm still in McDermott's corner but the concern is that he'll be another Marty Schottenheimer or Jim Mora... a guy who couldn't win the big one. On the other hand, they used to say that about Andy Reid. Two Super Bowls later... Disagree strongly. Dungy won a Super Bowl with the Colts after being fired from Tampa. Tampa/Gruden only won with Dungy's players because of the stupidity of Bill Callahan and the Raiders organization... and Gruden later proved that he was a mediocre Head Coach at best. I actually liked Ross as a player and as a media member. He's usually smart and resourceful but this piece was crap... and you gave me a good chuckle.
  7. My good deed of the day. From the article: 1. Andy Reid 2. Bill Belichick 3. Mike Tomlin 4. Sean Payton 5. Nick Sirianni 6. Kyle Shanahan 7. Sean McVay 8. Brian Daboll 9. Pete Carroll 10. Doug Peterson 11. John Harbaugh 12. Zac Taylor 13. Mike Vrabel 14. Mike McDaniel 15. Kevin O'Connell 16. Dan Campbell 17. Matt LaFleur 18. Arthur Smith 19. Ron Rivera 20. Brandon Staley 21. Mike McCarthy 22. Sean McDermott 23. Kevin Stefanski 24. Frank Reich 25. Robert Saleh 26. Todd Bowles 27. Dennis Allen 28. Matt Eberflus 29. Josh McDaniels 30. Shane Steichen 31. DeMeco Ryans 32. Jonathan Gannon A poll would be a good addition to this post... and I while I like and respect Ross Tucker's work, this definitely feels clickbaity.
  8. Kudos to you for reading before posting.
  9. From the article you linked: "Gerben believes the team will eventually be able to use the name. The separate question is whether new ownership will want to. The best move could be to make a clean break from All Things Snyder, and a full rebrand could be part of that effort." Your topic title is some combination of The New York Post... and modern clickbait practices. But yes, let's take the easiest target in the NFL and make sport of him because everyone else does.
  10. Not working... IOS
  11. Joe or Leslie?
  12. Photographically, artificial turf adds girth to the midrift.
  13. Architecturally, didn't they restore the wading pool at MLK park? Also isn't that right near the Buffalo Museum of Science? Also I believe there are some Underground Railroad sites. Not necessarily for a Bills fan on a short visit but there are a few things to do on the East Side.
  14. I see the Broncos game is on November 13th so there is the possibility of cold, wintry weather. Keep that in mind. IF you go to Niagara Falls (and it's well worth it if you've never been there) Goat Island is the main feature of the so-called Niagara Falls State Park. It is awe-inspiring. I was there last summer with my 20 year old, California-raised nephew. I had visited many times as a youngster and young adult growing up in WNY but seen through the lens of adulthood and my nephews eyes, I came away with a whole new appreciation. The natural beauty is breathtaking and the landscape architecture is superb. Also you can access the Cave of the Winds and the Maid of the Mist nearby. Across the border, Niagara Falls, Canada is an illustration of the difference that governments can make regarding the use of natural resources. The Canadian side is everything the US side should have been (for instance, no toxic waste dumps). The Canadian side is a VERY NICE tourist district by any standards but you will need a passport to cross the border. Enjoy your visit to Western New York.
  15. Not only that, he's too commercialized.
  16. The contract Harty received has gotten some criticism for sure. Not saying whether the Bills overpaid or not but it's highly likely there was competition for his services... most of the time the compensation is a result of the market. Same goes for Connor McGovern.
  17. This raises a sub topic that no one has really addressed to my knowledge. As a disclaimer let me first say that I do not think McDermott will be anywhere near a hot seat. He's taken the franchise too far in a good direction to be on thin ice. The only scenario I see him being under the gun is if the Bills somehow miss the playoffs in 2023. If that happens he'll be on thin ice for 2024. THAT SAID HOWEVER, it's important to remember that McDermott was hired before Beane and it's reasonable to say that McDermott hired Beane. So... if McDermott were to be fired, who would be pulling the trigger? It's hard to believe that Beane even has the power much less the inclination to fire the close friend who hired him. So if McDermott was let go wouldn't it be Pegula making that decision? And if Pegula were to fire McDermott would Beane survive? He and McDermott are so close and collaborative that it's really hard to say whether any major decision the team has made was made by one or the other. In addition their bodies of work are fairly inseparable so I'm having a hard time imagining the firing of only one of them. It seems to me that they're a package deal and if one goes, they both go. And again, I think the conversation is pretty premature.
  18. Funny conversation. It's really not easy apportioning blame. The one area I look at as a function of coaching is Josh's turnovers and also his reluctance to throw underneath. I'm not gonna dig up numbers but I believe that Josh's turnovers and particularly red zone turnovers took a big jump last year. It seems like Josh hadn't even thrown a red zone interception until sometime in his 4th year. To me this raises the question as to whether Daboll was much more demanding and disciplined with Josh than Dorsey was... that he had Josh on a shorter leash than Dorsey. We'll never know of course but I certainly think it's possible.
  19. More likely that would be a hot dog.
  20. Your post makes me wonder how many QBs have won a Super Bowl before the age of 27... Anyways, Happy Birthday Josh!!! So grateful you're our quarterback!
  21. Ralph used to be transported in a fully-loaded Ford Taurus... I'm pretty sure that's a much more expensive car than anything you've owned. 🙂 Saban and Cookie both went up after Ralph passed... two injustices finally corrected. Thankfully it no longer matters how Ralph felt about a Buffalo Bill. On a related note did Ralph have issues with Butch Byrd? Byrd is by far the most-deserving Bill that hasn't been honored on the Wall. Good list. One of the most popular Bills ever... Does that mean that law enforcement was underofficious? There already is a Wall of Fame committee. "Selections are made by a distinguished panel composed of club personnel and media members." https://www.buffalobills.com/team/alumni/wall-of-fame Wrong... Butch Byrd. Easily deserving. To the bolded, many would argue that Ruben Brown was a pioneer in the opposite regard. Schobel: 133 games, 78 sacks, 21 forced fumbles. Kelsay: 147 games, 32.5 sacks, 8 forced fumbles Television makes the world go 'round... I can't imagine the WOF not being in the stadium bowl where broadcast directors can pan across the names allowing announcers to comment on the "great players" and "rich history" of the team.. We'll see.
  22. I fixed it for you. In recognition for him coaching Josh to push the ball downfield and disregard his open receivers underneath, I propose "Forsey." Logic or @Logic? Cue Gunner Bill in 5... As @JakeFrommStateFarm posited, Josh was a big advocate for promoting Dorsey. Now Josh has the opportunity to make Dorsey look good or not. There's no question Josh is a top 3 QB... can he take the final step and win a Super Bowl? On paper it looks to me that there's enough talent to do so. Can Dorsey and Allen come through?
