Tough break for ex-Bill Zach Moss
Sierra Foothills replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really liked Zack Moss coming out of college. I had some concerns about his explosiveness but thought he had a lot of the same player qualities as did Travis Henry. Interesting that both he and Nyheim Hines are now injured seeing as they were essentially traded for each other. Tough times for running backs... -
Matt Araiza is Suing Woman who Falsely Accused him
Sierra Foothills replied to wppete's topic in Off the Wall
Really a great post and what I was also trying to express. And the "reverse your field" rush to judgement IS revealing. Thank you for that clarification. I was not aware of that. But even for those who "know" all the facts of the case, it's still a leap to make a moral judgement. Thank you and Amen. Exactly. For instance what was her parents' role in all of this? Isn't it likely that THEY and not SHE, hired the scumbag lawyer. Isn't it more likely than merely possible that they pushed for charges to be pressed? I'm glad you're so certain of your understanding of this situation. As for your first sentence, I originally asked whether the Bills could suspend him in order to not deny him due process. As for others I find that those who rush to judgement initially are often the same ones who overcorrect in the other direction. It's the same pendulum swinging the opposite way so I don't agree with your characterization. She ruined another person's life? Isn't this a bit premature? Also how is she going to live this down for the rest of her life? Is not her life just as ruined? There seems to be this binary blame mentality that I disagree with. IMO there's both plenty of blame to go around as well as more than one victim in this sad tale. Your response is inferior to @Udubalum07's. Not everyone knows all the details so you don't have to flavor your post with snarky know-it-allness. -
I believe Gibran Hamdan also performed this feat.

Josh's popularity is because he is a generally wonderful human being. A lot of Bills fans react negatively to the above image. To me it shows the true excellence of his character.

Matt Araiza is Suing Woman who Falsely Accused him
Sierra Foothills replied to wppete's topic in Off the Wall
Here is the point I'd like to understand before I morally exonerate Araiza and the others who had sex with the girl... she was 17 at the time of the incident and there's video of the sex acts. The age of consent in CA is 18. Why isn't this statutory rape? BTW nice to see all the message board vigilantes out here with their clubs and ropes. So much anger at a "false accuser" as if the men involved are blameless. -
Hunter Renfrow a possible camp casualty
Sierra Foothills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Football was so much better before all the rule changes which made the game "safer." This is what used to happen when players were cut from the team. The dreaded "Coach wants to see you, bring your playbook." -
Everything I've read is that the Bills offense is on the complex side and that's the reason that players generally have a hard time contributing in year one... in fact that's why it was said that Hynes had so few touches last year. Now just as Hynes was up to speed and ready to show his talents, this happens. I hope I'm surprised but I'm having a hard time seeing Evans succeeding here for the very same reason... he's got a ton of catching up to do. Also a very important question here and across the league is whether he can pass block.

Actually, this is the link that should be attributed: https://www.newsbreak.com/news/3095460821392-buffalo-eyes-aj-dillon-as-packers-face-backfield-decisions?noAds=1&_f=app_share&s=i16 Exactly, thank you. 😅 Off topic much? Exactly... thank you. I knew a guy who didn't go to law school but passed the NYS Bar Exam and practiced as a lawyer in Buffalo. As you can imagine, the "powers that be" quickly closed that loophole. They didn't want that pariah in their club. If the Bills wanted to acquire the most effective power back from last year, they could have simply signed D'Onta Foreman as a free agent. "Collectively, the Bills' backs rank 28th according to Madden." I'm not a fan of the practice of using the Madden ratings to rank players.

For my money, funniest guy is @HOUSE... and as an added bonus, he does it with the fewest words.

Oh... okay. On what criteria are all of the accolades based on?

Since 1987, Offense Wins Super Bowls about 2/3's of the time.
Sierra Foothills replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good work. I copied the spreadsheet to check out a few things. One thing that was interesting is that the average rank for the sample size of your study (36 years) shows that the mean average ranks were: Offense: 6.25 Defense: 6.666666667 Not nearly the difference one would think based on the 21 vs 11 winners. -

Top 10 offensive coordinators as per PFF
Sierra Foothills replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was previously the Robertson family's friend in Duck Dynasty. It's a results-oriented business. If you can coordinate a successful offense for a few seasons it doesn't matter if your name is Lieutenant Uhura. Cooter ultimately didn't have the track record... at least according to my tricorder. -
More proof that McDermott will never get this team to the promised land.

Zeke Elliott is like the Atlanta Falcon version of Todd Gurley (3.5 ypc). Not sure where Zeke's gonna land but I hope it's in the AFC East... that would be great.

Detroit-unveils new Helmet in honor of their 90th season
Sierra Foothills replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I disagree on the color being reflective of Detroit. For one thing the official color is "Honolulu Blue' which I think is a fitting name in that it evokes a warm weather locale. To me Detroit is rundown but not bland. Like its smaller cousins Cleveland and Buffalo, Detroit is rust belty and past its prime but not bland. I always thought the Lions colors were incongruous with the city whereas the Bills and Browns colors seem fitting to me. I thought the same thing... what's with those vertical rectangles? Then I saw this below and it explains everything.
