  1. Buffalo Joe isn't playing today and they're still gonna go ahead with the game?
  2. Let me re-word: I think the difference between 50 team sacks and 43 teams sacks arguably justifies his contract.
  3. Hold on... if Von plays 30% of snaps and has 7 sacks (and commensurate pressures and hits), that scenario wouldn't justify his contract? I dunno guys. Putting pressure on the QB is pretty important.
  4. Damn dude... you're rich! What are you doing around here?
  5. Yes. Also life as we know it will never be the same. 🙃
  6. @SDS, should Hammers note be pinned to the top of this topic?
  7. So if it’s never happened before then… someone help me out here.
  8. Hurts throws the ball into triple coverage.
  9. At the end there's an announcer's voice...
  10. Josh co-stars in this commercial with (I had to look it up) rapper Megan Thee Stallion, Travis Kelce, Justin Jefferson, and Derrick Henry: I'm not really big on modern-day media hyperbole but it is Josh and there's a nice Buffalo-centric touch to it. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_iU84kxiYI/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  11. Yeah Jackson can beat you with his legs but not his arm. He threw so many poor balls tonight including 50/50 balls where good ball placement is a catch or DPI. He's just not accurate enough to make those throws... and when I say accurate I'm not talking about completion percentage.
  12. Yeah it's odd because if you look at rankings and average draft position, by conventional wisdom he shouldn't even go in the first round. And yet he does in the leagues I'm aware of and there hasn't been any buyer's remorse. How can you go wrong drafting the highest scoring QB who's also your favorite player of all time?
  13. I felt more self-loathing when I drafted Butker. Gunner I'm feeling good that I drafted 3 of your 5. Impressed with your RB stable. In our league there are 4 Bills fans among the 10 teams so Josh has never made it out of the 1st round and he's always justified his high draft position.
  14. I seem to recall the Bills saying that Miller would play on obvious passing downs. There's what the depth chart says and there's what happens when the Bills substitute. I like the roster but what a tough schedule.
  15. Last night. 10 teams, 16 rounds. QB, WR, WR, RB, TE, W/R/T, K, DEF, D, D, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN 1.(5)Tyreek Hill (Mia - WR) 2.(16)Garrett Wilson (NYJ - WR) 3.(25)Travis Etienne Jr. (Jax - RB) 4.(36)Kenneth Walker III (Sea - RB) 5.(45)DJ Moore (Chi - WR) 6.(56)Dalton Kincaid (Buf - TE) 7.(65)Tua Tagovailoa (Mia - QB) 8.(76)D'Andre Swift (Chi - RB) 9.(85)Caleb Williams (Chi - QB) 10.(96)Harrison Butker (KC - K) 11.(105)Cleveland (Cle - DEF) 12.(116)C.J. Mosley (NYJ - LB) 13.(125)Patrick Queen (Pit - LB) 14.(136)Khalil Shakir (Buf - WR) 15.(145)Jessie Bates III (Atl - S) 16.(156)Christian Watson (GB - WR) Thoughts: 1) Josh went 4th overall (to a Bills fan) 2) I really wanted Saquon Barkley but had to settle for Garrett Wilson 2 picks later. 3) I was hoping for Mahomes in round 3 but settled for Etienne 4 picks later. 4) Baltimore D was taken in the 3rd round. 5) Was pleased to get Kenneth Walker in round 4 (I took him over Mixon though). 6) Was pleased to get DJ Moore in round 5. 7) I took Dalton Kincaid over Kyle Pitts who went 1 round later.I ended up taking 3 Bears, Caleb, DJ, and Swift. That wasn’t necessarily the plan though I don’t mind either. 9) I despise Butker but glad he was there in the 10th. Overall pleased with my draft.
  16. If your concern is that Diggs would impose his will on the offense I would not share that concern. I think his teammates would keep him in check if it became obvious that he was only interested in his own agenda. I believe it would be pretty obvious if that's what he was trying to do and I don't believe he'd be able to cow all of his offensive teammates. He would be called out on it IMO.
  17. I think it's a mistake for you to brand all anonymity as the same. Brady is allowing anonymity with the intention of encouraging honest feedback from his players. There are other reasons to encourage anonymity. Ultimately right and wrong will be determined by how his offense performs but I'm certainly not gonna judge his methods when he hasn't yet created an offense of his own. I'm not that smart that I can predict disaster before it happens.
  18. Is success more likely when: 1) players gives their input into a game plan and are then stakeholders in that game plan or 2) players are simply "following orders?" When you make a suggestion at work are you more likely to work hard to see to it that your suggestion succeeds or do you not care?
  19. As @dave mcbride said, you have to read the entire article. This is not forming a "democracy"... it's being collaborative with heavily-invested stakeholders who are high-level professionals... instead of simply dictating to them. If you've ever played organized team sports you've probably seen instances where the coach was wrong or didn't have his finger on the pulse. "Spencer Brown noted how demoralizing it can be to receive a play script at the end of the week and see a call they know won’t work. So the offense strives to show Brady its gratitude for not being that way. He simplified Dorsey’s playbook and introduced a more universal philosophy to understand what, how and why."
  20. Good info, Mr Info. Do you happen to know who ended up winning this?
  21. 1) There's zero funny about someone getting shot. 2) Injecting politics into the reply is a) not allowed here and b) guaranteed to annoy as many people as those who think it's funny. Don't do it.
  22. You have an interesting sense of humor.
