  1. And Tasker is butchering the conversation. Catalano (?) is trying to explain to him the obvious.
  2. Even padded practices are no substitute for live game reps. It's good that they're out there. He's an analyst but yeah.
  3. I'm really glad the first team O-line is still out there... they need the practice with 2 players at new positions.
  4. Yes, the O-line needs work. He started and he's gotten a lot of snaps. Edit: his first career NFL catch.
  5. Who else? Other points: Kincaid started over Knox. It's good the first team got reps.. the O-line has a long way to go.
  6. Every time he opens his mouth and words come out I want to blow my brains out. Does he have "Bernie Kosar Disease?" He's horrible. Other observations: If you're a Bears fan you couldn't be more excited about your new quarterback. It's like we felt when we all realized that Josh was special. Smoot is a veteran yet he loses outside containment twice. Good job rookie. Bad call against Lewis... he was cutting inside the receiver trying to make a play on the ball. I'm glad the defense is sputtering... it's better than having a false sense of security.
  7. Great post!!! On behalf of many, thank you!!! Thank you. I do you Youtube TV for the purposes of NFL Sunday Ticket. Much appreciated! 😆 My comment was case specific.
  8. I couldn't agree more... and anyways it's not a black and white thing... it's a matter of degree. However you can die crossing the street and people drown in bathtubs. You can't go through life fearful so I disagree with the idea that he shouldn't play at all. Here's some useful context... Josh played 4 series last preseason with a returning cast of receivers. https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/josh-allen-2-player-stats?category=passing&seasonType=pre 17 passing attempts. This year he only has 1 wide receiver who has ever caught a regular season pass from him.
  9. As long as I can watch the game, that's a much lesser concern for me. Who would the announcers be? Catalano and Tasker?
  10. Just so I don't misconstrue, what is your point?
  11. DirecTV's our only viable provider up here and we have the lowest priced package so it's pretty cheap... I'm actually surprised we have NFL Network. And of course super glad we can watch the Bills.
  12. They are still married and they forgave me some time ago. Not everyone gets what they deserve. 🙃
  13. I'm fortunate (in this case) to have DirecTV which carries the NFL Network. We have it because we're in a remote location with unreliable or uninstallable cable options. Thank you! I'm like most of the losers here... very excited to watch any Bills game, even the first preseason game. I once skipped out on a buddy's wedding because he had the audacity to schedule it during a Sunday in the fall... I had season's tickets!!! No sir, that simply won't do. I need to go a bit deeper than that.
  14. As most of you would surmise from my handle, I live in California. What (if any) are my options for watching the game tomorrow? I'll hang up and listen... thanks!

  16. In possibly-related news, the Niners have signed speed Wide Receiver Robbie Anderson/Robby Anderson/Robbie Chosen/Chosen Anderson. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/robbie-chosen-anderson-signs-with-49ers
  17. Short on quality, dependable safeties, the San Francisco 49ers are expected to sign veteran safety... Tracy Walker. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-49ers-plan-to-sign-tracy-walker
  18. To debate... or to wager...
  19. This is what happens when you breed a bison with a tyrannosaurus rex.
  20. What about the specialists? Without even a helmet? JMO but I think that's going a bit too far. Josh could get injured just as easily being pulled as opposed to fighting for more yards on his own. The flying wedge resulted in player deaths during football games. The players would sew straps on the ball carriers to help pull them along. Ball carriers died. Teddy Roosevelt banned the flying wedge. Yours is definitely not a good suggestion.
  21. @hondo in seattle, I owe you an apology too. I meant no disrespect to your heritage. Just so you know, my people are often times the butt end of jokes too. My family came to this country in 1954 after enduring 2 wars. My paternal grandfather led the resistance against imperialistic occupiers until he was captured and died in a prison camp of ulcers... he was given water but no food. During the time my grandfather was underground trying to organize the resistance, his wife, my grandmother was interrogated and tortured by the occupiers, trying to find out my grandfather's whereabouts. After the torture interrogation my grandmother said to the interrogators "you might as well kill me but I will never give away my husband... is your wife as strong as me?" My people's country didn't win many wars but they were brave and courageous like many people. Again, no offense intended.

  23. Reminds me of the old joke, "Why is the Champs Elysees lined by large oak trees?
