  1. If I was Ed Oliver I'd be getting pretty nervous.
  2. Price? Is that you? Price Waterhouse?
  3. It's those jeans you're wearing...
  4. For the click averse: "A couple of Bills rookie minicamp observations: - WR Kaden Prather had a great day. Really solid routes. Got open and made some impressive catches - DE Landon Jackson is a massive dude. Has a presence! - “Blocking TE” Jackson Hawes was catching passes everywhere - Really impressed by quick-twitch/change of direction from CB Max Hairston - CB Dorian Strong physically certainly looks the part of an outside NFL CB." The microphone was picking up a lot of wind noise too. Beat me to it... we need to get @boyst to size him up! From another topic... gonna drop this here...
  5. You reckon he's about as big as Kincaid? Mercenary. Git 'er done!!! (fruity nature show narrator) "a seasonal harbinger akin to the swallows returning to San Juan de Capistrano... his trademark dreadlocks flowing in the breeze..."
  6. Codrington is an excellent return man and the Bills actually traded for him (swap of late picks). The reason he has less value is because he's viewed strictly as a returner and nothing else.
  7. Hmmmm... it's possible that Rodgers doesn't want to play with Pickens. For one thing they have to make room for Allen Lazard. It's also possible that the Steelers reached the "Diggs Point" with Pickens. That's as legit a statement in this topic as any. Agreed. If Rodgers decides to flake out, they can still pivot to Kirk Cousins. Not true. If Pickens doesn't get the ball he stops playing. Stops blocking, doesn't chase fumbles... and he also loses composure and takes stupid penalties. That's all actual football.
  8. I'm not disagreeing with you but in fairness it should be mentioned: This was a 1 minute sampler, not a complete, condensed game. By most accounts, Jackson had a strong game against Campbell. QB was getting the ball out quickly... it looks like half the snaps were 3 steps and throw. I think the tweet is inconclusive at best.
  9. Agreed. No one who has watched tape of both players would ever compare the two. It's one of the most bizarre and inaccurate comparisons I can recall.
  10. I couldn't agree more that networking in any industry is indeed important BUT... it's still funny to me that a 20-something athlete would go down to the bar to make a good impression... seeing as alcohol isn't a performance enhancing drug and all the other possible negative connotations...
  11. Do you predict he’ll return for his 7th season?
  12. I read this as Binghamton… you can imagine my surprise!
  13. 1) Wasn’t it a compound word of charisma and poise? 2) What an outside the box idea… go to a bar to promote your career as an NFL QB!!! (for some reason I don’t think this would have worked with McBeane).
  14. It would be hard for the Bills not to be at least minimally improved on the D-line if you look at the 2 free agent signings and the 3 draftees. Also going from weakness to strength is CB where the Bills signed Dane and Tre and drafted 3 solid prospects. On the other hand they minimally addressed Safety and totally ignored LB. Still, I expect the Bills D to be substantially improved in 2025.
  15. Disagree. If the Bills wanted a run-defending DE they wouldn't have drafted Jackson. They've said they're excited about his pass rush ability and Jackson said he was told by the Bills that he would line up at 9 technique from time to time. As a pass rusher I'm told that Jackson was a force against Alabama and Ole Miss this season as well as at the Senior Bowl (not the drills). As a collegian, Epenesa never looked as explosive as Jackson. AJ would would walk blockers back to the QB but rarely beat them around the edge as Jackson has. I still think to this day that AJ should just be beefed up to 280 and let him play to his strength instead of trying to accentuate his speed. I've also wondered if he was on PEDs during his time at Iowa.
  16. So a "stop" is either a 3 and out or a turnover.
  17. "In NFL football, a defensive stop occurs when the defense prevents the offense from gaining a first down or scoring on a drive. It's a crucial metric for evaluating defensive performance, indicating how effectively a team is limiting the opposing offense's progress."
  18. The reasons golf carts are dangerous: 1) They don't seem dangerous... they seem easy to drive so people underestimate the danger... they let their guard down. 2) They're often associated with alcohol use. 3) They're often being operated by younger people who are not experienced drivers. 4) Because they're 4 wheel vehicles they seem stable but they're a bit top heavy and unstable on hills and slopes. 5) Unless they have good tires, they easily break traction on damp surfaces
  19. Perhaps reprise the deep sideline pass to Patrick DiMarco!
  20. I believe they told him that they want him to become the best version of himself... also to trust the process...
  21. Depends on who you compare him to. Take for instance... Speak for yourself... Marquez Valdez-Scantling anyone? He might be the answer... but then what would be the question?
  22. In the name of being mode, you should rename this topic "Van Ginkel gets the bag." Yes, but he has a very silly name. Very silly. Yes, the silly-named player got the big bag. I see what you did there... Don't you think he has a silly name?
  23. 5 People in a golf cart... I know they make 6 seaters too but "falling off the back" makes you wonder if there was a 3rd (rear facing) row or if they were crammed onto a 4 seater.
