  1. Regarding the 4 turnovers vs the Rams that some have mentioned to cheapen the fact that the Bills didn't punt : The interception caused by McKenzie occured at the Rams 24 yard line. The fumble by Moss' occured at the Rams 16 yard line. So in any event, the Bills were not going to punt on either of those two possessions.
  2. For those who aren't aware of Tom House's background: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_House If you read till the end of the entry you'll be rewarded with lots of very cool facts including an epic moment in baseball history. Also the site for his QB Academy: https://www.train3dqb.com
  3. I'm not by any means a faint-hearted person but... When Josh runs I get a bit distressed. As he approaches contact I get more nervous. If he's in a scrum I'm damn near freaking out. As for tackling after throwing an interception I'm against Josh doing so though knowing him as a football player, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried for the tackle. While I despise the anorexic metrosexual who plays QB for Tampa Bay I wouldn't hold it against Josh if he followed the coaching to avoid contact at all costs in that particular situation.
  4. I asked another poster this question and he didn't reply: It's one thing to "worry" as we discuss Josh's style of play but I'm very curious what Bills fans feel when they see him pull the ball down and start running downfield. Personally my heart is in my throat and has stopped beating. Also, I'm holding my breath. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. Here's a second question for good measure: When Josh throws an interception, do we want him to try to tackle the ball carrier?
  5. All six of those Chicago Bulls Championships were totally avoidable. Why didn't those stupid teams just guard Michael Jordan??? DUH!!! Maybe put a big strong cornerback on him... someone like Christian Benford maybe?
  6. Is there a difference between rendered and rendeed?
  7. The Tennessee O-line lost two starters from last year's team, both among the best run blockers in the league... Rodger Saffold and David Quessenberry Any chance of you linking that? Thanks.
  8. Let me preface this by saying I wanted the Bills to draft Epenesa in 2020 and was super happy when we did. Just a reminder that Epenesa had his best game of the season in week 2 last year and didn't do anything for the rest of the year. So IMO, AJ has a ton to prove, or put differently he's proven nothing yet.
  9. Thanks JJ. Your devotion and dedication is greatly appreciated. I'll check back with you tomorrow.
  10. On behalf of all of us, I'm gonna ask you to not attend the game. Thank you. Ojulari and Thibodeaux would only start due to their draft position. Jihad Ward was A MAN last night for the Giants. Also, he's a better edge than either of the #1 picks. Probably a blessing in disguise that they were both injured. One or both of them should probably sit and learn from a good pro before being given a starting spot.
  11. Don't sleep on Duke Johnson either. It's a long season... either of those guys could re-surface and contribute.
  12. Those people who were skeptical of how much Von Miller has left in the tank apparently missed his 8 regular season games with the Rams when he had 5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and 8 QB hits or his 4 playoff games where he had 4 sacks, 6 tackles for loss and 6 QB hits. There were no indications that Miller was hitting any kind of a career wall last year. It's weird that some people assumed he was winding down.
  13. I have no wish to debate you. But you didn't answer my Yes/No question.
  14. That's fine eball... you don't worry about it. But answer honestly: when he's running and taking on tacklers and in the middle of a scrum aren't you holding your breath?
  15. Rams edge rusher Leonard Floyd was virtually invisible against the Bills. It will be very interesting to see how Spencer Brown holds up against the TJ Watts and Matthew Judons of the world. Josh seems to be perfecting the quick passing game but there will be plays where he needs more than 2.5 seconds to throw and Brown hasn't faced his toughest tests yet.
  16. Ditto for me. Josh does seem too good to be true but at the same time, convincingly authentic. I never get the sense that he's being anyone other than himself and it's hard to imagine that there's anything he doesn't do well.
  17. I remember that play to the left side. It's a common mistake I see in football... a blocker looking around for the ball carrier instead of sustaining his block. As a rule a blocker should just always assume that the runner is linked to and dependent on his block.
  18. McBeane's biggest psychological hurdle in drafting Josh was getting past the historical dogma (compelling as it was) that "accuracy can't be learned."
  19. I don't see that but stranger things have happened. So you're picking vs the spread, not straight up.
  20. I read somewhere that there were 4 designed runs and that 5 of the carries were pass plays where Josh pulled it down and ran. However the box score shows 10 rushes... so maybe the 10th was the kneel down from victory formation for minus 1 yard?
  21. I think this is a fair statement. It seemed clear to me from McDermott's interviews that the lack of a run game was a point of contention between he and Daboll. To those saying "it's only one week," well that's true. I expect the Bills run game to improve as the season progresses.
