I dont disagree with this. Really comes down to inside the 20s. McD defense is usually pretty stout in the redzone. Less grass to cover, safetys can creep up more. The Lions certaintly will be the ultimate test.

Bills still ran heavy Nickle, which should shock no one at this point. It is the McD modus operandi. Until the Bills have a dominate 1 tech they will always get gashed on the ground against good rushing teams, which SF is...also the snow plays a role in this. Its hard enough to read and react, aka play defense. Its even harder to do so when you dont have your footing. Go Bills!

Hoping we can get the job done with Coleman, Milano, Spencer Brown and Kincaid. I know chiefs are missing guys, but very impressive to get the dub short handed.

2 high safety, nickle defense. Take away the deep ball. Force teams to nickle and dime you. If your offense can get a lead it forces the opposing offense to abandon the run and play to your strengths. McD defense at its finest. The question I ask you is, would you rather give up 300+ passing yards and 50 yards rushing or 200 yards passing and 120 yards rushing? Its relative at this point. All that matters is if you win the game or not. This style of defense has its pros and cons. Wins are all that matter.
