It’s no joke IMPOSSIBLE to evaluate Purdy with the weapons he has and the easy job he has. Compared to the rest of the league, he’s not even playing the same sport. Drop back and pick which wide open elite weapon to throw it to. He MAYBE has 1 to 2 tight window throws to make but everything else is so wide open that as long as he gets it relatively close to the WR, it’s got a chance to go to the house. It pisses me off to no end when you see the throws Josh has to make vs what Purdy is doing. At times it’s like he’s throwing against air while josh is trying to fit a football through the head of a needle. Purdy is doing what he’s asked to do but damn it’s as easy as it gets. This is all Kyle Shanahan. Best coach in the league by a pretty big margin. He’s the real MVP. CMC as well.

They would be at least 6.5 to 7 point favorites and I would put a significant amount of money on them to cover that. No one is in their league.

49ers are the best in the league but eagles and chiefs are right there. I’d kill to be in the Rams position. I just want one trophy. Nate Geary nailed it on his show. You can’t fight fate. Not going to quote myself from another thread this week but everything I thought about the game has been accurate. Eagles CBs suck and they’re looking ahead to their game next week against the best team in football.

This. They prey on the stupid franchises especially Washington by getting chase young and previously Trent Williams the best lt in football practically for free. They work the comp pick formula to their advantage better than anyone.

As the resident guy on the board that gets accused of pumping up the Niners too much and has a lot of money on them to win it all, It’s having an offensive mind light years ahead of anyone else plus the best roster in football. How good is the roster? They blew 3 1st round picks and can still get to the nfc title game every year. Shanahan has no equal. Actually they did know. CMC dad played for Shanahans dad. Their families are close. The injuries were overblown. He shut it down early on some bad panthers teams. The Niners knew what they were getting and essentially traded for the best weapon in football for pennies on the dollar.

Some things about this favor the Bills. As many mentioned already, short week for the eagles coming off a huge emotional win. Just as big in my opinion is the fact that they play the best team in the league (49ers) the week after us, so we might be catching them at a good time. That game with the 49ers is going to be for the 1 seed so Philly needs that more than any other game this year. They know it’s coming so hopefully they look ahead some to it. Bad news is we’ve been awful on the road this year. If we can block the eagles d line enough to give josh a chance, the eagles LBs and secondary are subpar and we absolutely can move the ball. Their corners and safeties get roasted on a weekly basis. On the other side of the ball, they’re so physical they’ll be able to run at will on us but to me it’s all about not giving up the big play to brown and smith. Hurts has been sketchy as a pocket passer all year. Keep them in 3rd and 4-7 all game and you have a chance. If we put up points, we can get them out of their run game and force hurts to beat us. That’s the path to winning.

They are. Their defense has been making it work all year despite injuries and overall lack of talent/depth. They’re not that great overall though.

Harrison Jr lasting until 4 is a joke. If he falls beyond 2, you pick up the phone and offer whatever it takes. No one is dumb enough to let him last until 4 though.

When josh scored I didn’t celebrate. Instead I texted my buddy and told him broncos will kick the game winning FG at 11:25 pm. I was a few minutes off but decades of this informed my mindset. Deep down we all know we are cursed and we’re not going to win it all in any of our lifetimes. And still we care more than any other fanbase. We deserve the championship more than anyone else but instead the bandwagon Niners fans will get their 6th this year. Unfair.
