100% agree. You’re not going to hear me say any different. They are 1 of 1. The other 31 franchises are playing a different game altogether. You can try to copy them and their scheme, hence other teams hiring their coaches. But no one can duplicate this. I’ve never seen anything like it. Best roster in the league for sure but also an insane amount of luck too. Watch their games, literally every ball bounces their way. I watch their games and can say to myself several times “well if josh had throw that, it’s picked off” or “if we tip that pass it’s falling to the ground”. Instead it’s an INT for their defense. They’ve also made a KILLING of the incompetence of the rest of the league. Getting Trent Williams (HOF and best LT in football) for a 5th and future 3rd. Getting CMC (future HOF and best RB in football) for pennies. Getting Boss at pick #2 when Arizona stupidly took Kyler Murray despite Boss being the best player in college for a while and a slam dunk pick. The Lance debacle would’ve sunk the other 31 teams but they got better. Imagine if they’d kept those 3 first rounders.

People keep getting on me because I’ve been saying since the summer that they were going to win it all and that they’re going undefeated. I have an irrational hatred for them I guess. Glad to see others are jumping on board haha. Get ready though, this isn’t going to be their only ring over the next several years. They’re winning a few of them. Injuries is all that’s stopped them so far and all that can stop them now. They have HOF talent across the board and an INSANE amount of luck too. Every pass that should be picked off never is and every ball bounces their way.

McDaniel came from SF and the Shanahan tree. He was their run game coordinator. Every team it seems is trying to copy them. Mcvay and Lafleur come from shanahan tree too.

This. These are the games when coaching shows up. If it’s a close game, we lose usually. If the team is tough, we usually lose.

There’s less than a 0% chance that Surtain is available, guarantee he’s on their “no touch by any means list”. The other 52 guys on their roster are more available than him. One of the games elite young cover corners still on a rookie deal? Zero chance.

Josh and Diggs are good enough to get us 10 or 11 wins by themselves despite the coaching and rest of the roster. I’m done being satisfied by that. You only have a short window with elite QBs. You can’t waste josh on McDermott, Dorsey, and guys like Gabe Davis as his 2nd weapon. And while I loved whopping the dolphins, that didn’t change my thoughts on McDermott, etc.

Can people PLEASE stop looking at DVOA and use your eyes? Yes our RBs are in theory better but Dorsey won’t stop calling shotgun draws to Cook to put us behind the chains. Sherfield and Harty aren’t going to give us anything significant. Davis can only run 1 route. And Dorsey won’t use Kincaid. Agree with you our d line looks better but now Daequan is done for the year and Bernard isn’t going to be kept clean. No white and no Milano either. Poyer looks 50 years old. Our DVOA is always going to look good because we win big against ***** teams and ***** QBs. But unless you’re going to ignore the harsh reality of our injuries, the ineptness of the coaching staff, and the history of how poorly we play against good QBs, you can’t possible have a positive outlook that we are in a good spot right now. This. People will buy into this team way more than they should after they win the next few games. Cinci is going to run us off the field again in a few weeks and then people will remember that we just don’t have the talent at the other positions besides josh and Diggs to win against good teams.

I don’t claim to be a shark or anything but I bet a decent amount of time and when you watch every game, the Niners jump off the screen like they’re playing a different sport altogether than everyone else. So much so that Vegas has removed any value you can get betting them to win it all. They’re the HEAVY favorites now at +350 while KC is next at +550. Then Philly at +800 and our bills at +950. It’s wild that that Philly even while undefeated is significantly less valued than Sf but not if you watch them. Philly hasn’t looked right all year and their defense is god awful if you can block up their d line. As far as Ben Johnson goes, I’m on board with it. Dude could’ve had any job he wanted last year too and he’s done well this year too. Would he leave for a chance to coach josh Allen? That’s the big question. Not even a question though as we are stuck with McDermott.

Agree. I actually think people will look back on them that way too. Mostly because I think this is just the start of a couple years worth of rings. I also think they’ve got HOFs at multiple spots too. They have the best player at their position at like 10 different spots. Best RB, best LT, best FB, best all around TE (he blocks the best by far), best DE, best LB, best man to man corner (other than maybe sauce). We didn’t even mention Deebo and then Aiyuk who is trending to be a top 5 WR. Didn’t even mention Hargreaves, Armstead, , Greenlaw, or Hufanga. They’re elite at every position with no weaknesses. They do everything well too. They never miss tackles. They alll block well. If somehow a game is a shootout, so what? They have more weapons than anyone. Grind it out game? Fine, they’re more physical and tougher than anyone else too. It’s disgusting.

They have exactly 2 hard games left (at eagles and home to ravens). They are motivated to beat the eagles after last year and the ravens are getting killed by injuries. They’re going undefeated. Unless the chiefs add another elite WR, they’re winning the SB too.

This. You get your franchise guy and then everything and I mean EVERY SINGLE THING is built around them. Coaching, weapons, etc. You don’t give them a defensive head coach and an offensive coordinator who is lazy and uncreative. You don’t give him only 1 nfl caliber weapon and a #2 that’s unreliable and only knows one route in the tree. It’s complete malpractice and it’s all being wasted.

Exactly. Like I said above, it’s coaching malpractice to have 17 and not use him to his abilities. Instead we do the same ***** every week.

Agree to disagree I guess. I don’t see a path to anyone beating them this year at all other than injuries, but it seems like the rest of the league has injuries except for them somehow.

That’s optimistic. What path do you see us competing with them other than josh going off? But even then, we don’t have the weapons to throw to. They’ll take Diggs away because they have Chavarious Ward who always took Diggs away when the chiefs had him. Who’s blocking Bosa? Are Jackson and Elam supposed to keep up with Aiyuk and Deebo? No one to stop kittle and CMC too. Not to mention Shanahan would have 2 weeks to scheme up wide open plays. Sorry, not trying to beat up on you but it’s more likely they blow us out 8 out of 10 times and josh keeps it within a TD the other 2 times.

Who gives a ***** about numbers and stats? They don’t tell any of the story. This team can’t consistently move the ball with Josh F’ing Allen at QB! That’s offensive malpractice. I see nothing new every week. Same old shotgun nonsense with handoffs to cook that go nowhere and then hope josh makes a play. Even the bad teams like the Texans and cardinals are creative on offense this year, and the cards are doing it with dobbs. We run no slants, crossers or anything else that makes offenses hum along. Just 15 yard curls into tight windows or low % bombs to Gabe. No designed josh runs, nothing. Add in McDermott not motivating guys and it’s a shame we keep wasting the best player in the nfl.

Correct. There’s a large gap there but until the eagles start playing better, they’re not one of the elites either. The 49ers are in a class by themselves and then the chiefs only because of Mahomes and the refs. Bengals will be fine too. We are trending down. A lot of this is coaching though. We have the worst of the group unfortunately too. Josh and Diggs can only prop them up so much.

I regret that I can only like this post once. While he’s accurate, I f’ing hate how easy it is for him vs what the other 31 QBs have to do each week. It’s a different sport almost. There is no reading the defense, it’s simply “which wide open guy do I want to throw to that has 30 yards of open space in front of him”? You watch josh, and he’s gotta hit tight windows. I do nothing but watch football all day Sundays and it’s just different for everyone else. He’s basically playing the 7 on 7 drills that high school kids play where you’re throwing against air. Add in the fact that he has the horseshoe up his ass that Brady had for 20 years and it’s extremely annoying. This isn’t a 1 year thing either. They haven’t had a first round pick in 3 years. They’re going to own this decade.

Have you looked at their schedule? 6 weeks off essentially against the NFCW, plus their hard games are all at home minus the eagles game which I think gets out of hand like this one. McD has run his course. Can’t keep wasting josh. I didn’t have specific problems with his coaching today but it’s just overall. There’s been WAY TOO MANY TIMES where we show up unprepared and especially unmotivated. It’s inexcusable.

True but for those of us that have been saying he’s ultimately holding us back, we can accept it but we don’t have to like it.
